Dog-Friendly Activities in Telluride

At Gather, we understand that your furry friends are integral to your life. And it is no secret that Telluride, CO, is replete with outdoor activities and dog-friendly locales for the whole family.

• Ride the Telluride Gondola
  Leashed pets are allowed in select gondola cabins between Telluride and Mountain Village, which are free to ride. Bonus points – the electricity utilized by the gondola is generated solely by wind and solar power! 

• Hiking
  From Hope Lake Trail to Bridal Veil Falls, all the dog-friendly trails are located near town. Please keep summer temperatures and your experience level in mind when selecting a hike for you and your dog(s). However, we want to add that if you plan to take your dog anywhere, please pick up after them and follow a pack-it-in, pack-it-out mentality. 

• Mountain Village
  Arguably the town hub for tourists, grab a pint or a bite while your pup eats some treats and enjoys some cool mountain water. 

• Visit Ouray Dog Park
  While there is only one off-leash dog park in Telluride, Ouray Dog Park is a favorite of tourists and locals alike.

• Stroll Around Town
  You’ll notice that Telluride is quite fond of dogs’ well-being. This being the case, you’ll see several watering stations and poop bag dispensers throughout the area.

• ATV Adventures
