  • Mar 03, 2023 Quite unique place to stay, very quiet and private: loved it. Location (in an extinct volcano) was unusual, but apartment, with 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, was excellent. Walking distance to Poipu Beach for snorkelling and watching the daily turtle and seal visitors. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need, and provision of beach chairs and other equipment was good, although the 2 boogie boards were broken and therefore not suitable for use. Would definitely stay here again if I am ever in Kauai again: central enough to visit all of Kauai as day trips, rather than relocating to the north shore for a few days, as we originally planned. A/C Notes: Portable A/C unit in primary bedroom. Please make sure to turn off A/C when not at the property. Kauai is a tropical island. Your vacation may be interrupted by rain, wind, storms, warm weather etc. Houses and condos on Kauai do not typically have air conditioning. We depend on the trade winds to cool the islands down, there will be times where things stay a bit warmer usually during the summer months, June thru September. Please note that if the property you are booking does not state that there is air-conditioning on its description or amenity list, and you need to have AC, please contact our Reservations team and we would be glad to help you find an appropriate property that will suite your needs. No refunds or adjustments will be given due to not having AC on property.
