  • Nov 17, 2022 Wow, this place is awesome! We stayed with our three kids and never wanted to leave the property. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and private.  The property is set well back from the road so all you hear are crashing waves and tropical birds- it is heavenly!  The breeze blows 24/7 so the rooms were never too hot and we didn’t miss AC at all.  The house has everything you need and while the bathrooms aren’t new, all the appliances, beds, furniture, etc. are brand new and high quality.  The beach is stunning, the water warm, and the waves outside perfect for boogie boarding.  If you’re interested in other sports- the kayaking, surfing, and kite boarding from the house are all amazing and right there- not even a drive.  We can’t wait to be back for another month away. Located on one of the most beautiful stretches of Kailua Beach, this spacious villa boasts gorgeous ocean views from four of the six bedrooms. This villa also sits on a quiet flag lot, offering true peace and serenity surrounded by palm trees, giving you a lush, tropical feel and the perfect space to enjoy the natural beauty of the island in the enormous beachfront backyard.

The spacious and open-air design overlooking the crystal clear blue waters of Oahu’s eastern shore makes this beachfront villa aptly fit for entertaining and is ideal for a family reunion or an escape to paradise with a group of friends. This villa is not equipped with air conditioning, but thanks to the tradewinds over the ocean on the eastern side and ceiling fans throughout, you’ll be cool, comfortable and relaxed. Being on the windward side of Oahu with a multitude of sliding doors and windows throughout, the home is breezy thanks to the soft winds blowing in from over the ocean.

The expansive common spaces include a large kitchen outfitted with several stainless steel appliances and a large center island for any chef to feel fully comfortable in their culinary elements while entertaining guests. Overlooking the kitchen is the formal indoor dining area with seating for 6 and views of the lush, oceanfront backyard and tall palms swaying in the breeze as well as two living areas both with plush sofas for your comfort. The formal living area boasts amazing views of Kailua Beach as well as a fireplace to warm you up on chilly evenings. The TV room is just on the other side of the first level and boasts a Smart TV to host a movie night or catch up on your favorite shows.

Flowing seamlessly from the common area through sliding doors, you’ll find the shady, covered lanai with a variety of chaise lounge chairs and tables overlooking the lush flora on the lawn as well as the ocean beyond. It is the perfect place to spend the day soaking up the tropical sunshine, or to unwind at the end of the day watching the colorful display of the Hawaiian sunset. Plus, get a taste of everything the island has to offer with both mountain side and ocean side outdoor dining with simply amazing views.

The Main Bedroom Suite on the upper level boasts a comfortable king-size bed, a balcony with full-fledged ocean and Kailua Bay views, a ceiling fan, and a large private ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub and dual vanities. The beach view second bedroom and garden view third guest bedroom are both located on the upper level and furnished with a king bed, ceiling fan, and access to a shared full bath with a soaking tub. Also on the upper level, guest bedroom four has a king bed and guest bedroom five has a queen bed, both with stunning and expansive ocean views. Bedrooms four and five share a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo and single vanity. Guest bedroom six is located on the main level of the villa and offers garden views, a king bed, and a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and single vanity with ample counter space. There’s an additional full bath/ powder room on the ground level of the home as well with a shower for your convenience.

Apart from the beach directly in your backyard, Kailua Hale Kahakai is located within walking distance to some of Oahu’s most prized attractions. Visit beaches such as Kailua and Kalama Beach and Beach Parks as well as historic downtown Kailua where you’ll find ample opportunities for shopping, dining, and entertainment for the whole group to enjoy.
