  • Nov 19, 2025 We will definitely be back. This was our first time staying in this unit but have stayed at the Royal Kahili several times. We love it. The location is incredible, with easy access to all the good spots around Kona. We love the pool area and the opportunity to grill out and hang for the evening. The place itself was beautiful. Being a corner/top unit, it allows you the best view of the ocean and no one above you making noise. I especially loved the big table for nightly card games and ample hang out space on the lanai.   • Oct 28, 2025 Given the opportunity, we would certainly stay there again. Don't let the outside fool you! This was a work trip, and we have stayed in many places over the years. The criteria when I am looking for a place to stay are the four C's. Communication, cleanliness, comfort, and commuting. This site met all of our expectations for a vacation rental. It was greatly appreciated to come back after a long day to a place that was so comfortable and welcoming. We fixed most of our meals and were grateful for the up-to-date kitchen. At one point, we needed a blender, and Gather had one delivered to us right away. The bedrooms/bathrooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. Gather was quick to respond to our emails and texts. Given the opportunity, we would certainly stay there again. Diane V

We enjoyed watching the surfers every morning and eating dinner on the pool patio watching the sunset in the evening. Gather was very responsive to issues. The fridge wasn’t working properly when we got there and within 4 hours of contacting them they had brought us a new fridge to use.
