  • Aug 03, 2025 Chuckanut Point was one of the coolest, most beautiful properties I’ve stayed at. The house is spectacular - an architectural work of art, outfitted with all the tools and toys (from high quality kitchenware to kayaks) we needed. The setting was stunning, with sweeping views of Bellingham Bay and a protected cove that allowed us to kayak and paddleboard on glassy, calm waters each day. It felt like staying at a luxury resort, with the small details (towels, beds, soaps) clearly chosen to create a top notch experience. The folks at Gather were great - even reaching out proactively to keep us updated during a tsunami advisory! The only thing to consider is that you need to be extra vigilant if you bring small kids, as there are hazards galore from sharp edged tables to outdoor staircases that present ample opportunities for bonked heads and bruised knees. We remained vigilant and everyone in our group emerged happy and unscathed, but something to consider if bringing small kids! Fred R

  • Jul 03, 2025 This gorgeous mid-century home is a fabulous place to stay. We loved the quiet location, next to a sheltered inlet with clear water and lots of wildlife. The bedding and toiletries were all high-quality and the kitchen was well stocked. All the amenities were clean and like new. Communication with the property manager was prompt when we had questions. The provided kayaks, paddleboards, and lifevests were great fun and easy to use from the dock. And if you want to get out further, it's only 10 minutes drive to Fairhaven for a fun day trip, and close to some great hikes and beaches as well. Kelly H
