The location can’t be beat, you are just a few minutes from Hanalei and the grocery store but still tucked away with a stunning view. The place was very clean and we didn’t mind not having ac. House was immaculate, lots of communication and local property manager was responsive via text when we had a question about check in timing. This is in the Villas of Kamil'i complex and the views from our unit were INCREDIBLE! That alone made this a memorable stay, but the good location, clean space, free parking, and the beach/water equipment (beach chairs, beach towels, outside hose for sand, etc) made it an easy stay. Unit is right behind the pool area which was fine and clean, but honestly we were mostly at the beach. Lucy R

The split floorpan workout out great, plenty of space to spread out, and the unit was extremely well stocked. But the absolute best part was the incredible view from the windows and balcony. Stunning! We all want to come back and hated to leave. Booking this property, there was several forms and things to fill out, but once that was all done, process was simple.The extra fans were appreciated. Very good communication and text messages leading up to our stay. Beth R

We had a small issue with the garage being occupied but the manager responded quickly and the owner’s car was moved… they are so friendly! We definitely enjoyed the pool. This AirBnB DOES NOT have air conditioning, we did not mind it but if you get hot easily then you may want to pass in the summer months. The lanai was exquisite and the neighbors were friendly. It’s such a gorgeous place to wake up to in the morning. We would stay again! Michele D

  • Jan 23, 2024 This home is beautiful, well equipped, and has outstanding views of the mountainous terrain. The community is gated and very quiet. We didn't use the swimming pool but they did have plenty of beach and pool towels available. There was 5 beach chairs, 2 beach mats, 2 bogie boards and some sand toys for when you head to the beaches. I loved the location, so much to do with a lot of beaches close by. They also had a binder full of suggestions of where to eat and things to do. When we had a question about parking they got back to us immediately and was very helpful. Two thing to note, there is no air conditioning (not uncommon), so make sure you close all the shades while you're gone or it will get quite hot in the house. Second thing is that there is a quite a lot of steps for you older people with hip and knee issues and people with small children. It would not stop me from renting this place again but just so you're aware. It was fabulous! Mary A

Close to food and beaches. There is no air conditioning but that not an issue for anyone except sleeping the first night. I’m used to cooler nights. They do have lots of fans and we had all windows open. We would definitely stay there again. Steve L

We finally decided to stay here along with our three daughters. It was the BEST decision we have made in a long time. The view of the mountain from the villa was nothing short of spectacular. Trust me, the pictures you see online are nothing in comparison to what it looks like in real time. The home was beautiful and accommodated our family of 5 perfectly with everyone having plenty of space. You could have easily rented this with several couples as well. The kitchen/family room/dining room was fantastic and allowed us to cook some meals at home while there. The home had beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach towels and more! We enjoyed the short drive to Hanalei Bay for beaches, restaurants and sunsets and the area is very walkable with my wife and I enjoying daily morning walks. Mike H

We were there in Feb. and had lots of rain but the warm temperatures didn’t stop us from hiking, walking the beach, touring gardens or surfing( the desire of our kids). Great location! We made many meals in the well stocked kitchen and loved the ice options from the fridge for our Mai Tai’s. Being right beside the pool/hot tub/BBQ was perfect! We could quickly get to the market and drive to Hanalei (rain closed the road a couple of times and we were grateful to be staying here). Great selection of tv viewing options (cable and streaming) for the rainy days and furniture was super comfy. We loved the beach chairs, towels, and coolers - they came with us everywhere!! The lighting was generally low despite numerous light fixtures. We would have preferred a brighter ambiance. May 09, 2023 Aloha! Let me start by saying my wife and I spent HOURS researching places both on the north and south sides of Kauai. Almost to the point of paralysis by analysis. We finally decided to stay here along with our three daughters. It was the BEST decision we have made in a long time. The view of the mountain from the villa was nothing short of spectacular. Trust me, the pictures you see online are nothing in comparison to what it looks like in real time. The home was beautiful and accommodated our family of 5 perfectly with everyone having plenty of space. You could have easily rented this with several couples as well. The kitchen/family room/dining room was fantastic and allowed us to cook some meals at home while there. The home had beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach towels and more! Feb 18, 2023 A lovely condo and pretty well equipped. We were there in Feb. and had lots of rain but the warm temperatures didn’t stop us from hiking, walking the beach, touring gardens or surfing( the desire of our kids). Great location! We liked the layout, everyone had privacy when needed. Good internet too! Jessica B
Jan 23, 2023 Wonderful quiet area, we loved coming home after exploring the amazing Garden Isle. The mountain views were even more stunning with waterfalls, plus lush greenery and flowers everywhere. The sky beautifully finished house had plenty of space for our family of 5 adults to gather together and also spend time alone. We made many meals in the well stocked kitchen and loved the ice options from the fridge for our Mai Tai’s. Being right beside the pool/hot tub/BBQ was perfect! We could quickly get to the market and drive to Hanalei (rain closed the road a couple of times and we were grateful to be staying here). Great selection of tv viewing options (cable and streaming) for the rainy days and furniture was super comfy. We loved the beach chairs, towels, and coolers - they came with us everywhere!! Jan 18, 2023 Roomy, well-appointed two-level living space including a well-supplied kitchen area. We were comfortable even through A/C was not installed. The ceiling fans were appreciated. The lighting was generally low despite numerous light fixtures. We would have preferred a brighter ambiance. Any questions we had were quickly resolved by phone calls to the number supplied in the information given to us. We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Ken O
