  • Sep 03, 2024 Beautiful And Quiet Place This unit is just as described in the listing. The pictures are accurate. It is not walkable to the beach, which is a 5 minutes drive away. The unit is surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. We enjoyed the quietness of the sub division. The kitchen is better stocked than my own kitchen! We really had everything we needed for a few meals we cooked. Grocery stores and farmers markets are also a short drive away, very convenient. Living room and two bedrooms have their own TV, that was very nice! The master bedroom's bed is very high. We needed a step stool (provided in the closet) to get in bed. 🙂 The bathrooms and showers are great, no issues. We really enjoy the stay at this nice unit. Thank you. Danli J

  • Apr 30, 2024 Paradise condo in Wailea! Ocean Views.... gorgeous sunsets as you get to the rental like about a half a block away you get quite the view. A really nice pool surrounded and secluded by trees right outside your door and I believe it was heated. We basically had the place to ourselves except for one other couple with a small child. We had six adults on and off at different times during our stay. The shops at Wailea offer basically anything you could want from fine dining to ice cream and beer. They had live entertainment as well. Plenty to do around here and really quiet at the condo it was super nice. Except for of course the birds but who can control them LOL. They just added to the ambience of it all! The Stice team was beyond belief quick to respond to any questions and wonderful to work with. I hope I get the opportunity to rent from them in the future!   • Apr 05, 2024 Great Stay This condo is at the back of the condo complex and is very quiet and tranquil. Very close to one of the pools. We had 3 condos (building 5,12 and this one at 16) this trip and is the furthest from the beach. But we had a car so no issue for us and prefer the quiet location. This was the spot we all gathered at the most :). We loved having the island market so close by for last minute needs. Condo was clean and exactly as pictured. Decor is lovely. From the welcoming note with chocolate covered macadamia nuts to their communication with us, the managers of the unit were friendly, hospitable, and professional. The unit is comfortable and well stocked. I gave all 5 stars except for location (4 stars) - there is just a slim ocean view down a ravine across the golf course, and the beach is not easily walkable (although the walk to the Monkey Pod, Pita Paradise, and the new sushi restaurant in the Wailea Gateway village is very easy and short), but there was no misrepresentation here - we knew it where it was and we were very happy. If you want a more private location than many other local condos, this is the place for you. Steve R

Air conditioning is new and efficient, but we only used periodically as the condo stays nice and cool due to the location facing the tropical bushes. You can see the ocean as well. From the inviting decor, to the private patio view.. we can't wait to return! The beach gear and towels were a nice addition, as well as all of the kitchen supplies. A close walk to the pool, which is surrounded by beautiful flowering trees and bushes, was another great plus. Updated and extremely clean! Communication with our hosts was wonderful.   • May 03, 2023 Happy and Content This is the first time we have rented this condo. It was beautifully decorated, great air-conditioning, nice water pressure, and very clean. The team were wonderful to work with and very responsive. We were here for a sister's wedding and needed an ironing board which was not there. Laura arranged for someone to bring by a brand new one a few hours after our request. We will defiantly stay here again! Thanks you Kristy D

The bedrooms had TVs and remodeled bathrooms which were nice. The backyard offered a wonderful sunset view of the ocean. It took 30 seconds to walk to the pool. Several nice beaches were within a 10-minute drive. The property managers were responsive and helpful. We will definitely come back! Cheuk Y

  • Feb 05, 2023 Great stay in paradise- ... as usual The Mrs and I had a great 9 days in Maui to pursue our hobbies of road biking and hiking. Our pursuits were paused to accommodate a couple days of rain,... but we made due. Two minor items detracted from a perfect score from our rental; 1) the active kid upstairs, banging out his dance routine (for hours - up to his 9:00 pm, thankfully, bedtime)!,.., and 2) not quite completed drywall/baseboard renovations (towel rack and TP dispenser fell off their respective bases a couple times - revealing some sanding/painting work that was still in progress)! As qualified earlier, these were minor issues and #1 was not the owners fault. The accommodations and amenities were 5 star and we’d definitely come back (but to a second floor unit) Frank K

  • Sep 13, 2022 My favorite Ekolu unit I’ve stayed in Ekolu Village probably a dozen times over the years. This is the only unit I’ve purposefully stayed in more than once. I love just about everything about this unit - the location, the decor, the lanai… My only complaint is that, on this last trip, I had elephants in the unit above me. (You know what I mean) Certainly not the owners fault, just bad timing with some thoughtless neighbors. Would it stop me from staying here again? Heck no! The risk of noisy people upstairs is far out weighed by the ground-level patio and general convenience o f this unit. Yeah, it’s on the expensive side compared to other Ekolu units, but it takes away the risk of having a suboptimal place. Andy F

  • Jun 30, 2022 Great Condo Great condo in a quiet complex. No beach access from this complex, but it just a short drive down the street to some beautiful beaches! Kids enjoyed the pool which is located just across the parking lot from unit. The condo had everything we needed, even beach chairs, snorkel gear and beach towels! The sunsets from the back lanai are amazing! My only complaint - you can hear every footstep from the condo upstairs! Fortunately, we brought a sound machine so the noise didn’t keep us awake at night. Even with the noisy footsteps…I would stay here again. Ruth G

Beautifully decorated, excellently furnished, perfect location. Far enough away from Wailea Ike and Wailea Alanui Drives that there was absolutely no traffic noise. Back patio was wonderful both morning and night. Just loved it. Andy F

It was spotless when we arrived with plenty of supplies and beach goodies. All the ACs were great in each room and the patio was amazing. Location wise, it is in the area with a ton of other luxury condos. The closest pool was closed for maintenance so we had to cross the street to get to the lower pool, which wasn't too big of a deal. Plenty of parking right outside the unit, we really had no complaints!Awesome place and the management team was courteous and responsive. Tien N

Sep 03, 2024 Beautiful And Quiet Place This unit is just as described in the listing. The pictures are accurate. It is not walkable to the beach, which is a 5 minutes drive away. The unit is surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. We enjoyed the quietness of the sub division. The kitchen is better stocked than my own kitchen! We really had everything we needed for a few meals we cooked. Grocery stores and farmers markets are also a short drive away, very convenient. Living room and two bedrooms have their own TV, that was very nice! The master bedroom's bed is very high. We needed a step stool (provided in the closet) to get in bed. 🙂 The bathrooms and showers are great, no issues. We really enjoy the stay at this nice unit. Thank you. Danli J

Apr 30, 2024 Paradise condo in Wailea! Ocean Views.... gorgeous sunsets as you get to the rental like about a half a block away you get quite the view. A really nice pool surrounded and secluded by trees right outside your door and I believe it was heated. We basically had the place to ourselves except for one other couple with a small child. We had six adults on and off at different times during our stay. The shops at Wailea offer basically anything you could want from fine dining to ice cream and beer. They had live entertainment as well. Plenty to do around here and really quiet at the condo it was super nice. Except for of course the birds but who can control them LOL. They just added to the ambience of it all! The Stice team was beyond belief quick to respond to any questions and wonderful to work with. I hope I get the opportunity to rent from them in the future! Apr 05, 2024 Great Stay This condo is at the back of the condo complex and is very quiet and tranquil. Very close to one of the pools. We had 3 condos (building 5,12 and this one at 16) this trip and is the furthest from the beach. But we had a car so no issue for us and prefer the quiet location. This was the spot we all gathered at the most :). We loved having the island market so close by for last minute needs. Condo was clean and exactly as pictured. Decor is lovely. From the welcoming note with chocolate covered macadamia nuts to their communication with us, the managers of the unit were friendly, hospitable, and professional. The unit is comfortable and well stocked. I gave all 5 stars except for location (4 stars) - there is just a slim ocean view down a ravine across the golf course, and the beach is not easily walkable (although the walk to the Monkey Pod, Pita Paradise, and the new sushi restaurant in the Wailea Gateway village is very easy and short), but there was no misrepresentation here - we knew it where it was and we were very happy. If you want a more private location than many other local condos, this is the place for you. Steve R

Air conditioning is new and efficient, but we only used periodically as the condo stays nice and cool due to the location facing the tropical bushes. You can see the ocean as well. From the inviting decor, to the private patio view.. we can't wait to return! The beach gear and towels were a nice addition, as well as all of the kitchen supplies. A close walk to the pool, which is surrounded by beautiful flowering trees and bushes, was another great plus. Updated and extremely clean! Communication with our hosts was wonderful. The team were wonderful to work with and very responsive. We were here for a sister's wedding and needed an ironing board which was not there. The bedrooms had TVs and remodeled bathrooms which were nice. The backyard offered a wonderful sunset view of the ocean. It took 30 seconds to walk to the pool. Feb 05, 2023 Great stay in paradise- ... as usual The Mrs and I had a great 9 days in Maui to pursue our hobbies of road biking and hiking. Our pursuits were paused to accommodate a couple days of rain,... but we made due. Two minor items detracted from a perfect score from our rental; 1) the active kid upstairs, banging out his dance routine (for hours - up to his 9:00 pm, thankfully, bedtime)!,.., and 2) not quite completed drywall/baseboard renovations (towel rack and TP dispenser fell off their respective bases a couple times - revealing some sanding/painting work that was still in progress)! As qualified earlier, these were minor issues and #1 was not the owners fault. The accommodations and amenities were 5 star and we’d definitely come back (but to a second floor unit) Frank K

Sep 13, 2022 My favorite Ekolu unit I’ve stayed in Ekolu Village probably a dozen times over the years. This is the only unit I’ve purposefully stayed in more than once. I love just about everything about this unit - the location, the decor, the lanai… My only complaint is that, on this last trip, I had elephants in the unit above me. (You know what I mean) Certainly not the owners fault, just bad timing with some thoughtless neighbors. Would it stop me from staying here again? Heck no! The risk of noisy people upstairs is far out weighed by the ground-level patio and general convenience o f this unit. Yeah, it’s on the expensive side compared to other Ekolu units, but it takes away the risk of having a suboptimal place. Andy F

Jun 30, 2022 Great Condo Great condo in a quiet complex. No beach access from this complex, but it just a short drive down the street to some beautiful beaches! Kids enjoyed the pool which is located just across the parking lot from unit. The condo had everything we needed, even beach chairs, snorkel gear and beach towels! The sunsets from the back lanai are amazing! My only complaint - you can hear every footstep from the condo upstairs! Fortunately, we brought a sound machine so the noise didn’t keep us awake at night. Even with the noisy footsteps…I would stay here again. Ruth G

Dec 11, 2025 Ideal family unit Great unit for our family of 4 and my parents. Very clean throughout and check-in was a breeze. They had accommodations for our 2 year old and tons of beach gear. The two pools were okay. The pool closest to our unit was closed for maintenance. Loan T
Dec 11, 2025 Great Condo Great condo in a quiet complex. No beach access from this complex, but it just a short drive down the street to some beautiful beaches! Kids enjoyed the pool which is located just across the parking lot from unit. The condo had everything we needed, even beach chairs, snorkel gear and beach towels! The sunsets from the back lanai are amazing! My only complaint - you can hear every footstep from the condo upstairs! Fortunately, we brought a sound machine so the noise didn’t keep us awake at night. Even with the noisy footsteps…I would stay here again. Ruth G

Home is well kept and has everything you need. Especially appreciated the nice beach chairs, umbrellas and towels as we used those every day. Dec 11, 2025 Absolutely perfect I’ve stayed in Ekolu Village many times over the years. Never the same unit more than once. I think it fair to say that this unit is my favorite of all of them. Beautifully decorated, excellently furnished, perfect location. Far enough away from Wailea Ike and Wailea Alanui Drives that there was absolutely no traffic noise. Back patio was wonderful both morning and night. Just loved it. Andy F

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time here as a family of 6, which includes an infant and 7 year old. Very comfortable, clean, and quiet place. It was spotless when we arrived with plenty of supplies and beach goodies. All the ACs were great in each room and the patio was amazing. Location wise, it is in the area with a ton of other luxury condos. The closest pool was closed for maintenance so we had to cross the street to get to the lower pool, which wasn't too big of a deal. Plenty of parking right outside the unit, we really had no complaints!Awesome place and the management team was courteous and responsive. Tien N

Air conditioning is new and efficient, but we only used periodically as the condo stays nice and cool due to the location facing the tropical bushes. You can see the ocean as well. Would most definitely stay here again! Teri D
