Feb 09, 2024 Great Location The location of this unit was great with a large balcony that overlooked the ocean and we were able to see whales almost constantly. Unit was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Building renovations were going on during our stay but was not an issue for us. Only issue we had was the washer was not working and could not be fixed while we were onsite. Was a little bit of an issue since we were on the tail end of a 2 week trip but we managed without it Mike B.

Apr 29, 2025 Really great place Views from this condo are incredible - amazing sunsets, and we saw sea turtles from the balcony at least 20 times. Great location on the island - easy walk to snorkel rental and a few shops and restaurants, and just a short drive to Lahaina. Some casual restaurants with great views we enjoyed just a short drive away: The Gazebo, The Sea House, The Beach House. We also had a great time snorkeling just a short drive away at Slaughterhouse Beach (weird name but beautiful beach). Cold filtered water in the lobby for filling up our water bottles was great, too. Apr 29, 2025 Maui getaway We stayed with our adult children in this lovely condo. The patio was great with amazing views of blue water and sea turtles. We enjoyed the beach and pool. The condo was well appointed. The air conditioner in the master was lacking, but there were fans available, so we just put it in front of the door and took air from the living room, which was quite cold. Apr 29, 2025 Yes it's that beautiful The unit is exactly as it appears in the pictures! Stunning views from the lanai, with plenty of seating. Great location very close to Lahaina center, approx 1 hr to Wailea, and approx 1 hr to beginning of "road to Hana". 2 little convenience/liquor stores right across the street, snorkel rental & sushi (v. good) place as well. We didn't spend much time at the pool, but it's very clean, and plenty of chairs. We used the grills one night which were very clean and nice for a night in. Highly recommend The Plantation House for dinner, just an 8 minute drive. The condo has all that you might want/need, even things you wouldn't expect (an insulated water bottle which we used a lot). Plenty of beach chairs, coolers, sand toys, beach towels, etc. A nice bonus is the little, but well equipped gym in the bldg. This was a perfect place for us (family of 4, all adults). Would def stay here again. Mahalo for maitaining and offering such a beautiful home. Julia B.

Apr 29, 2025 This View NEVER Gets Old!!! Royal Kahana 610 is just amazing. The view from the lanai carries throughout the entire living area, so you can prep & cook dinner in the (fully-stocked) kitchen without even missing the views. We had friends staying in another unit on-site. Their place was actually really nice, but they ate every meal with us just because… The decor is pretty perfect, & the kitchen has everything you need as far as pots & pans, cooking utensils, & even food storage containers & supplies. You will find that Maui, in general, is very Earth-friendly, & there are even recycling bins on the basement level here at RC. This made me very happy! Both bedrooms were nice. We slept well in there -except for the two nights that I CHOSE to sleep on the lanai. I can’t explain how peaceful it is to just sit out there & listen to the ocean. Nothing competes with the daytime views, but the night sky was also pretty stunning. We started most days with coffee on the lanai (organic, compostable pods provided for the Keurig) and then walked to nearby businesses before heading to the beach or excursion of choice. The coffee shop was a MUST, but get a punch card (we didn’t find out until too late)! So, that brings us to location! Royal Kahana is quite centrally located. There were restaurants, coffee shops, a general store, & even snorkel rentals literally across the street. We could have managed to survive quite happily just by walking everywhere! But you DON’T want to do that!!! There is too much beauty to see on Maui! We visited many beaches to the north & to the south, including Lahaina whaler’s village, Baby Beach, Napili (for snorkeling), & then finally D.T. Fleming Beach, which was our favorite because it wasn’t too crowded. We basically swam right next to several sea turtles, & our sons enjoyed the waves while we enjoyed the sand. There are beaches everywhere- each with their own, specific strengths. Talk to the kind folks at Snorkel Bob’s on the way back from your morning walk. They are incredibly kind & helpful & were able to steer us towards what we wanted from a beach for that day. Oh! And the unit is stocked with beach towels (look in the half bath cabinets), chairs, coolers, umbrellas, & even a few toys for little ones if you have them! This was especially nice for those of us who were packing light & traveling from VA! The washer & dryer were clutch as well. Basically, just get here! You won’t want to leave!!! Cory G.

Many times promotional videos and pictures can exaggerate a location. In this case they almost didn't do it justice. The unit is that nice. The attention to detail is phenomenal. The size of the unit was perfect for us and we actually had 6 all over 18. The view was magical and the interior was beautiful. We came to Maui to disconnect from a lot of the hustle and bustle and the location was perfect for that. Kaanapali is within driving distance for whatever we wanted to do there but it was always a pleasure returning to a more peaceful setting everyday.We are already planning another trip after my son's wedding and are looking forward to staying in the same exact unit. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed on the west side of Maui now at least five or six times & this unit had by far the best views we have had. We always stay directly on the oceanfront, and most units we have stayed in have been outdated and lacked good air-conditioning. We had the incredible opportunity to stay here for a little over a week during busy season and had an absolutely magnificent time. The condo is fully furnished with absolutely everything you can think of, and anything additional that you might consider, Megan obliges happily before your arrival! She even left a birthday gift for our son who celebrated his 6th birthday while we were on the island!! Watch the whales from the wraparound balcony and wake up to the sound of crashing waves just below your window! If you aren’t sightseeing, spend the days down at the pool right on the ocean or grab some groceries and grill out on one of the grills poolside. Then watch the sunset over Lanai for a full day of splendor. There is a small gym on the basement level that we didn’t have an opportunity to use. Would have used it if it opened a little bit earlier, but it is open at 7 AM. No problem! Having a washer and dryer inside the unit is a game changer. Next time we come, I will bring far less clothes for everyone! Can’t think of a single thing we’d have changed. We easily for 5 adults and one child - 2 adults per bedroom and one in the living room with our munchkin on a small blowup bed with plenty of room to spare. The 2 1/2 bathrooms are a major major bonus. PS. Oh, and if you want to know anything about anything on the island, there’s a gentleman in the building with the cutest dog ever who is a wealth of info. After one visit you with him, you may have plenty for your entire stay 🤣 but he means well and their dog Rosie is a gem. Consider us hooked! Book now, don’t wait! Michelle T.

We like the little changes here and there that we see every time return. Super clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook. A Keurig for our AM coffee on the lanai. We enjoy Dollies, The Beach House and Maui Brewing Company near by for easy eats in the evening. We do a lot of grilling poolside - you meet a lot of great people down there. It added to our overall great Hawaii vacation. The unit is wonderful, with plenty of room for 2 couples and has a stunning view with a big lanai to sit on and view the ocean. There is actually a nice beach a two minute walk from the unit if you want to stay local. We also enjoyed the Beach House and Dollies Pub for dinners within walking distance of the Royal Kahana. We didn’t have to stock up on any basics (toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, etc.). Plenty of room for our family of four. Beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc provided. We thought the condo 610 was wonderful, although I wish the air would have been working (we stayed sick the entire trip, because we had to leave the windows open at night to stay cool). The mattress in the master bedroom could have been better, I slept on the couch away from my husband because of back issues from the mattress. Apr 29, 2025 Didn't want to leave! The condo was exactly as the pictures showed - it is beautiful and spotless! It had everything we could possibly need, you really just need to bring your suitcase and hit the grocery store. We tried to spend as much time as possible on the patio as the views were absolutely breathtaking! Every single day we saw whales and sea turtles and one day we were able to watch a bunch of dolphins have some fun! Check in was easy peasy and the pool was a nice place to hang out when we didn't feel like going to a beach. We used the poolside grills quite a bit and they were always clean and available. The condo didn't have air conditioning while we were there (not the owners fault at all - they were out of order for the entire complex due to terrible storms they had before we arrived) but we didn't even miss not having a/c. They provided us with a ton of fans for every room and 2 portable a/c units but we rarely used it. The breeze off the ocean was wonderful and kept us cool. It actually worked out because we could leave all the doors and windows open and enjoy the calming sounds of the waves! Do not hesitate to book this place - you won't regret it!! We will definitely book this condo again if we are lucky enough to get back to Maui! Tracie F.

Apr 29, 2025 Absolutely perfect I’d originally booked this condo for 2020 and of course had to reschedule. We spent Thanksgiving 2021 here and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The condo looks exactly as pictured. It is spacious and beautifully appointed. Everything looks new and is very clean. The lanai is a dream. Perfect for eating breakfast and lounging to watch the sunrise or sunset. There are beach accoutrements, cooler, etc available as well. Communication was simple. Apr 29, 2025 Best Rental We Have Ever Stayed At! We LOVED this property! We were looking for something a little further north on Maui, so it would be quieter etc., but still convenient to everything. This property was exactly as advertised. The finishes & the upgrades make this an exceptional value. The kitchen was well stocked to easily accommodate family meals. The best things about this property was the AMAZING views! The huge porch/lanai area, with wraparound views was stunning. Easily the best part of our time in the unit was spent outside listening to the ocean & watching the sunsets, sea turtles etc. We enjoyed our time there. This is definitely a place we would book again on our next trip out to Maui! Teletha L.

Apr 29, 2025 Perfection from all angles Our family had an incredible stay at Royal Kahana. First and foremost the views are breathtaking. From every angle. We purposefully tried to eat dinner in ( either cooking or takeout) to make sure we were home for sunset. The condo is filled with every single thing you could need. They have thought of everything. The beach, while technically not open, is better than I expected and we saw the sea turtle every day. Snorkeling abounds within 10 min drive north or south. Our favorites were black rock and Honolua. Boss frogs was great for snorkel gear rentals. The convenience store across the street at the shell station was impressive. And the staff at royal Kahana was friendly and helpful. And Megan and Jeremy were super responsive and great help with lots of suggestions. Including a options for us to renew our vows after 25 years. A truly special occasion. Other tips were Haililemalle general store for dinner after Haleakala. And Sea House in kapalua. A truly memorable vacation. And we would recommend this rental to anyone. Apr 29, 2025 Beautiful condo My husband and I came to Maui with our daughter, son in law and granddaughter. for a family vacation. This lovely condo was more than we expected. Apr 29, 2025 Amazing vacation! This property is very clean and was well maintained. Stocked with everything you could imagine from beach chairs and towels to all types of kitchen supplies,, even a coffee grinder! Extra supplies included as well.. we have found in the past that most rental places give you a days worth of supplies but this place has extra dish pods,, detergent, paper towels, you name it. The view from the lanai is stunning, with the sun setting right off the balcony. We saw sea turtles from the lanai every day.The location is about 10 minutes from Kaanapali and 15 from Lahaina. Only 5 min to the best snorkeling beaches (Kapalui amd Napili). The beach is washed away at this property and I did not deduct stars for this because the owners mention it in advance. We knew this before we stayed. You can walk down to a beach 2 buildings down from this property. Tina D.

The view...oh wow...it couldn't have been any better. Sunsets were breathtaking every single night. We watched sea turtles every day from the lanai. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were lucky enough to stay at Royal Kahana 610 for ten days! The condo is perfect, the kitchen has all utensils along with a single and multi cup coffee maker. Paper towels, trash bags, dish and clothes soap and coffee filters were supplied. This place is beyond clean, the beds are actually comfortable! The wraparound lanai had plenty of seating and several beach chairs, boogie boards, beach bags, ice chests and umbrellas came with the condo. The pictures are exactly what the condo looks like and the furniture looks new. Do not hesitate to book this condo. The Royal Kahana is a quieter complex, does not charge for parking and is close to everything. While it does not have a beach directly in front, you can walk right down a path to a great beach. Apr 29, 2025 Gorgeous view, saw tons of turtles from our lanai, condo was spectacular We were a party of 4 adults, 2 kids 10 and 9. The condo was gorgeous, the view was breathtaking, we were so impressed. Kids lived for pool time and it was open until 10 pm which they loved. We saw so many sea turtles from our lanai, right on the waters edge. Just spectacular. Amenities were excellent, we had everything we needed. The only "negative ", if I dare say that, was no beach. But maui is full of beaches, we found lots. There is a small beach just down a building and it was really nice. We loved this condo, we loved the view, the property managers/hosts, Hawaii Life, were very friendly, quick to reply, super helpful. Thank you to everyone! Heidi H.

Apr 29, 2025 Ocean Front Unit with Expansive Ocean Views We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Kahana beach villa. The unit is literally on the ocean with expansive wrapped around lanai and ocean views. The unit is very clean, updated with high end appliances. We sat on the lanai watching sunset with a glass of wine almost everyday during our stay. The location is very convenient to Kapalua beach, restaurants and stores. We often did take-outs and just had lunch or dinner on the lanai. We would definitely rent the unit again in a heartbeat whenever we return to Maui. We highly recommend the unit. Allen H.

Apr 29, 2025 We came to see whales and were not disappointed! I spent a full day (not exaggerating) reviewing vacation properties and found this one. What a special place--beautifully decorated and wow the views! We came to see the humpback whales and loved that you could watch from the lanai and see their mist as they came up to breath! Bring binoculars. We also saw green sea turtles swimming below. We loved having 2.5 bathrooms and everything we could need in a kitchen--including a very nice well-stocked spice rack. Also nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Although the beach was washed away, you can easily drive to many other nearby beaches. We will definitely be back here! Lisa Y.
