It was incredibly clean, quiet, and supplied with everything I could have needed during my stay. The pictures do not do this location justice. The management company was very available and answered all questions and concerns. The only drawback about this property is that there is no beach access or availability. Walking through the front doors of this condo you are welcomed by the gorgeous blue panoramic views of the ocean! The lanai is spacious and has plenty of seating for the family. The condo is very nice, clean, and accommodating. the air conditioning alone was so appreciated. Loved our stay and have zero complaints. The hosts were extremely communicative and responsive. We'll definitely book again for our next stay on Maui! (My only suggestion--and it's minor--is to get a different mattress in the Master bedroom. It was a little hard for our taste but others may appreciate that.) Jul 31, 2023 Hawaii vacation family of five We spent 4 nights - family of five Two adults and children ages 17-20 The condo was exactly as pictures showed - we loved it The lanai was amazing - sitting at high table for coffee on lounge chair for reading or relaxing at end of day in regular chairs - and sunsets were beautiful We did not cook but there seemed everything you needed if you preferred The deforms were spacious - and bed comfortable we used the pull out as the third bed 2 1/2 baths were great for group our size There were supplies for beach if needed - chairs and umbrellas The facility had a pool and could get to beach ( not hard to climb over sand bags ) Location was convenient for excursions we did - snorkel boat ride , road to Hana, sunset at Haleakala ,luau Peggy L.

Jun 06, 2023 Good choice Room is very spacious so you can spread out. Two couple can easily stay there. Not much to do onsight - small pool; not much of a beech. But the room is great. Huge patio overlooking ocean. Beds comfortable. Hard to get AC much below about 69 but it wasn't horrible. Parking can be tight at night, but we always found a way. Convenient to elevator. Huge TV's if you like that. Kitchen had plenty of items. Extra half bath was nice. Would recommend. Quiet also. Bill M.

Apr 05, 2023 Beautiful Condo! We had an amazing stay at Royal Kahana 1010. The condo is beautiful and spacious. The lanai looking out over the ocean was the best part. We could see whales and sea turtles from our balcony! Loved the extra half bathroom. The condo had everything we needed for our stay including beach towels, sand toys, lots of beach chairs, and coolers. The only downside is the beach area in front of the building. There are sandbags to prevent erosion of the beach that you have to climb over to access the beach. There is a sign that says beach access is closed, but it is pretty much at your own risk to climb over the sandbags. We also had a small issue with the beds in the 2nd bedroom not set up as twins initially (per our request). But I notified the property management company, and they came out the next morning to separate the beds. So the issue was resolved quickly. Overall a great stay and I hope to come back someday! Jun 26, 2025 Fabulous Unit in the Kahana area! We loved the wrap around lanai of this 10th floor property. Lots of windows and 2 sliding glass doors showed off amazing views. It was winter, so there were many whales to watch. Bring your binoculars! Plus turtles near the shore. We loved constantly hearing the ocean waves. The unit was very clean. The kitchen well stocked with nice knives and decent pans for eggs. The AC in the entire building is out and they are waiting for a part, but it was only warm in the late afternoons. There isn't much beach on/near the property, but most everyone has a rental car to go exploring anyway. The staff working on the main floor seemed helpful and friendly. Amie S.

We had to drive to go to an adequate beach, but well worth it. Waking up on the Pacific blue water, islands of Molokai and Lanai to either side of us and our daily dose of rainbows and sea turtles!! Still no beach in front of the property but there is a decent enough beach a short 3 minute walk to the next property. Parking was never an issue. Jun 26, 2025 Wonderful Stay 10th Floor Direct Ocean View. Rainbows every morning and plenty of sea turtles to watch all day long. The home itself was perfect for two adult couples. The home is clean, in good repair and well supplied. This is a quieter area with a few very decent restaurants within walking distance. The condo was spacious, with breathtaking views and a well supplied kitchen. In particular, the sheets and towels were very nice, adding to the comfort of our stay. We enjoyed the gorgeous lanai with our coffee and whale watching each morning. The complex was quiet, clean and very convenient to all our activities - making it the perfect way to start and end our busy days. It truly felt like home from the very beginning of our stay. Jun 26, 2025 Killer views The place was perfect for our family of 4. Judy was in contact before, during and after our stay. This was very important to us because we had oxygen equipment delivered before our arrival. Judy made sure the front desk knew it was coming and which of us would be picking it up. Everything went off without a hitch. The place was ready for us when we arrived check in was easy. The place was clean and inviting. But the view, WOW!!! The lanai was big enough, the rest of our family in other condos joined us for coffee and enjoyed the whale watching with us every morning. Jun 26, 2025 Royal Kahana Perfection This line in the Royal Kahana condominium provides sweeping views over the ocean and spectacular sunsets. The 10th floor corner unit features floor to ceiling windows and a wrap around lanai with the best views and exposure of any building in the region. The master bedroom has its own slider to the lanai and both bedrooms are spacious and well appointed with comfortable mattresses, central air-conditioning and ceiling fans. The living area is also very spacious and well appointed. The kitchen is somewhat small but perfectly adequate for making large meals, with all the appliances, cutlery and dishes, etc. The pool is lovely and was uncrowded in early-mid December. There are well maintained (very clean) gas grills in the pool area and tons of tables, chairs and recliners. There was always sunning spaces available either right on the pool patio or on the grassy area between the base of the building and the seawall. The beach directly in front of the building was basically non-existent in the winter months. There were sandbags reinforcing the seawall. Not sure if the beach builds and expands in the summertime, but it is walkable, and the area directly adjacent to the building (500ft) had more beach and a gradual slope with moderate surf. SUPs and kayaks are available on this beach in front of the adjacent condo. The concierge was incredibly helpful with advice and help booking tours. Most importantly he/she has snorkels, fins, boogie-boards, noodles, beach chairs and umbrellas for rent for a very reasonable price. We paid $45 for all of these toys for the whole week. No need to bring along in your luggage. There is a Costco very close to the airport where we stocked up on food shopping. In addition there are two good markets quite close to the condo and a convenience store directly across the street which had everything from liquor and mixers to beach towels and sundries. In summary, you can't do better than this. It's the biggest, most spacious line in a very well maintained condo located directly over the ocean in an area with easy access to a variety of beaches. P.S. Don't bother doing the 1.5hr drive to the volcano to watch the sunset in December. The sun sets behind the observatory buildings and thus is completely obscured. I'm told the sunrises are spectacular but it requires a 4am wake-up! Enjoy! Stephen R.

Jun 26, 2025 Absolutely perfect! This property is exactly as pictured, and was absolutely perfect. Directions to the condo were easy to read and check in was a breeze. The property itself was very nice. There was never a wait at the elevator, staff were helpful and friendly, and the pool was never crowded. There was a beach right on site, so we didn’t need to walk to the other resorts, and the beach was absolutely amazing! The condo is perfect. Very clean and well taken care of. The view was beautiful- we saw sea turtles every morning, a barracuda and a baby shark (I love sharks, so this was definitely a highlight).. and the sunsets can’t be beat. This property is close to the grocery stores and Kaanapali Beach, and Lahaina. We also did the Road to Hana and Haleakalā. We had such an amazing time, and hope we are lucky enough to return again and stay in this rental. Thank you so much!! Krista C.

Jun 26, 2025 Home with a view Every time I book a vacation home for our family I cross my fingers and pray that we are going to like it. AND...yes we did! The view is 100% worth every penny spent. If you like to enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean then this is your place. The home itself is very comfortable and well laid out. The living room is very spacious and we were able to enjoy movie night as a family sprawled out in comfort. The building has everything you need. We love to bbq and appreciated how many grills there are downstairs. They are very well maintained and cleaned every day. You will find everything you need in the unit for your stay. I would only say that we wish they had some beach chairs for us to use. We love the beach and went everyday to a near by beach and would have enjoyed chairs. Doesn't make sense to spend money on chairs since you can't really take them home. Other than that everything was great. If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable and clean home. This is it. Jun 26, 2025 Review The property was very nice. The views are what sets this condo above everything else. We found ourselves on the lanai (balcony) all of the time from early morning into the night. We were able to see whales and sea turtles from the lanai. There is no access to the beach from this condo although there is a beach. We found ourselves walking through the adjacent condo then making our way to the beach where the Beach house bar and grill is located. Staff was friendly and pleasant. A construction project was taking place while we were there which closed the pool for a half day but in the end the tiki style shade poles were installed. Doug S.

Jun 26, 2025 Wonderful property! The property is exactly as pictured with wonderful wrap around balcony. The sunsets, ocean & surf sounds were perfectly relaxing. The location was good for us as it was quiet and about 15 minutes from Lahaina/Front Street. The kitchen was well stocked with all dishes, condiments, paper goods & laundry supplies. Two comfortable king size beds with nice linens. 2.5 baths were very clean & updated. One master bedroom has a sliding glass door/screen to the balcony & the window opens directly to the ocean. The owner and the housekeeper were very responsive, all directions for checkin/checkout were easy. Parking spaces were readily available. The concierge was helpful in giving suggestions & arranging excursions. Nice, clean pool and beach was a short walk away. Highly recommend this property. Shirley D.

I was very impressed with how well the the property was stocked and how clean and superbly maintained everything was. Beds were very comfy. Bathrooms (3) and the living area were spacious and comfortable, but all that was just icing on the cake because the best feature was the large wrap around lanai !! This is where we spent most of our time. Morning coffee, watching whales & sea turtles pass by, afternoon happy hour and beautiful sunsets and cool, relaxing evenings under the stars. I can't speak to the responsiveness of the staff due to the fact that we had no problems or additional needs that were not covered in the initial instructions. Jun 26, 2025 Breathtaking views, super clean, spacious and very comfortable This property was AMAZING and included a lot of extras (like tin foil/saran wrap/coffee) in the kitchen and shampoo/hair dryer in the bathrooms). Judy provides every comfort you would have at home with gorgeous ocean views. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, baking, etc. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud with even better bedding than I have in my own house. I stayed behind on 1 day of festivities because I just wanted to enjoy the condo. You can't beat the location ... 5 minutes from Merriman's (the best restaurant on the island) with a great beach for snorkeling just a few steps away. All the best shopping in Whaler's Village and downtown Lahanai is a short car ride away or accessible by bus and the stop is right outside the condo. This property is perfect for 2 couples with the 2 master king suites. The couch also rolls out into a bed. Plenty of towels and beach towels are available so leave yours home! There was no direct beach access while we were there but a 1 minute walk to the property next door gives you direct access. If you walk down the beach a bit the next property offers chairs and has a bar connected to their pool as well as rental of boards, kayaks, etc. Look no further ... you've found the best spot on the Island and Judy was great to work with, very responsive! Jun 26, 2025 Excellent, a great property and unit This is a very nicely kept, clean and updated property. The view is amazing and the property owner was excellent to work with. We needed some help on the last day and she was very helpful (She is A++). We've stayed on Maui 8-10 times, mostly at resorts like the Westin but this property is our #1 choice. A small beach nearby, restaurants re within walking distance, easy parking, turtles and a wonderful setting. We are planning a 2019 or 2020 trip and this is the only property we will consider, we will choose travel dates based upon the availability of this property. Robert O.

Jun 26, 2025 Rainbow Heaven We had a wonderful time at the Royal Kahana #1010. First of all the condo was very clean and spacious for two couples. We never had a feeling of being closed in! Everything was in very good working order and we had zero is,sues. The lanai was wonderful and provided near 270 degree view of the coastline. The sunsets were directly in front of you. In the am there were full rainbows almost every day. You could almost touch them! We could follow sea turtles as they made there way back and forth down the beach. We were able to a few whales, but it very late in the season. Unfortunatly, the beach access was blocked due to high wave action during the winter months, but the swimming pool was fine. I would recommend more handicapped parking at the front of the complex. It was unavailable to us nearly 50% of the time. Overall we were very happy with the unit as well as the facility. Tommy L.

Very clean, easy access to all parts of West Maui, Located right across the street from a local strip mall that had all the logistical needs (including a great microbrewery, Maui Microbrewery) The view from the wrap-around balcony provided for endless views of other islands and sea life. Jun 26, 2025 Perfect view and perfect location This Condo was a great place to stay. The views are amazing. The Condo was spacious and very functional. Nothing extra was needed. We took turns eating out and dining in. The kitchen was great to cook in and had everything we needed. Short walk to restaurants so didn't need to drive if we didn't want to. Short drive to more restaurants if we felt a bit adventurous. In my view the location was the best on the island. Not too busy but still close to convenience stores, snorkelling shop, etc. Both ocean swimming (out front of Condo) and on-site pool very relaxing. Just a tip in case you're interested, we hired a car for the duration of the stay and it was a great way to get around Maui. Taxi's seem few and far between. Free parking available at Royal Kahana. You see both Molokai and Lanai duing the day and a star show at night that is awesome. The location is perfect, close to Lahaina and beaches. There was two couples staying and we found the condo spacious and well appointed. What a plus having 2 king beds. I would definitely recommend this condo, and would stay here again on a return visit. The condo is spacious, clean, comfortable and the views are amazing - we enjoyed sitting on the lanai each morning with our coffee and each evening to watch the sun set. The location is perfect with easy access for shopping and to some of the most wonderful beaches on the island. The concierge at the Royal Kahana are wonderful as well - don't miss out on the morning info sessions about the island. They were so helpful in planning some of the BEST excursions and day trips. Jun 26, 2025 Exactly what paradise should be! There is no way to truly understand how spectacular of a location Judy's condo is. The view is just stunning. You have a full view of beaches in both directions and can also see the mountains behind you. The condo itself was truly a home away from home with everything you needed. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with anything you needed, the condo had every beach accessory you can think of, and the place was spotless! The location of this condo was away from the busy resorts and gave you the real feel of Hawaii, yet you were close enough to all the modern conveniences and great beaches (including the beach just below the balcony!). We ate breakfast every morning at the dining room table with the glorious view of the ocean and surrounding islands with the sound of the ocean as a backdrop. Jun 26, 2025 Absolutely Amazing! Our family of 4 just returned from a fabulous 2 week stay at this lovely condo. I knew from the pictures and reviews that it would be lovely, but pictures cannot do justice to the breathtaking views, the incredible lanai, and the comfort of this condo. The condo is good sized, modern, clean and well furnished. The carpet is new and the furniture and appliances/electronics are all in excellent shape. The two king size beds are comfortable and we slept so well between the comfort of the bed and the sounds of the ocean at night. There was absolutely nothing about our stay at Judy's condo that was anything less than wonderful. The Royal Kahana was the perfect location for us- the beach is small but still fun to boogie board and swim in. We were minutes away from 5 spectacular beaches (or more), so many great restaurants and shopping. The complex is quiet and well maintained, and having a small fitness room onsite was very convenient. Judy and her housekeeper, Jennifer, were very responsive and did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one. I can't imagine staying any other place after our time in this condo- just perfect. Tara W.

Jun 26, 2025 Never disappointed! This was the fourth (maybe 5th, we can't remember) trip staying at the Royal Kahana in Judy's condo. We are never disappointed, hence the reason we continue to return. When you're not out and about, you'll be hanging out on the amazing lanai. The unobstructed views go on forever and bring a sense of calm and serenity everyone dreams of on a vacation in Hawaii. Over the years she has continued to update both furniture and technology in the condo. I LOVE the smart tv, we were able to sign on to my Netflix and Amazon accounts with ease. Judy is fantastic to work with and her cleaning person, Jennifer, is there if you need anything. The price is beyond fair when you consider what you get, and compared to other listings on VRBO. Book early! The first few years we were able to book two+ weeks during the summer, last year and this year were more difficult to stay as long as we would have liked because we waited too long (we booked in March for a July stay). Jun 26, 2025 AMAZING !!! This condo is absolutely Amazing. I just got home from an 8 night stay with my 2 adult children. The pictures posted are exactly what you will find. Although, being there it is breathtaking and every day I would sit there and say "WOW, what a view. This place is awesome - I want to come back". Judy was excellent to work with and everything was just as listed. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, it is very spacious and the grounds (pool etc.) are in good condition. While we were there the amount of sand right in front of condo was very limited and there are a lot of big rocks in the water. Just a short walk down the street (800 ft) there is a beach access where there is more sand and little rocks. We did all of our cooking in the condo - my son BBQ'd and was always able to grab one of the 3 BBQ's. We did our grocery shopping in Kaanapali at Times store which is just 3 miles from the condo. They had an excellent selection. (I don't have a costco card). If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, breathtaking view - contact Judy. Her condo is EXCELLENT Marilyn C.

Jun 26, 2025 Look no further, this is the condo for you! I 100% agree with every wonderful review on this condo. We are a travel obsessed family and have mistakenly chosen to stay in "luxury resorts" for the majority of our vacations over the years. DO NOT BE DUPED INTO PAYING EXORBITANT PRICES TO STAY AT A"LUXURY MAUI RESORT." This condo is absolutely spectacular and will leave you never wanting to go home. The views from this gigantic lanai are absolutely breathtaking and the perfect location for breakfast, reading or sunset cocktails. This tenth floor condo is the perfect, quiet spot. We never once heard noise from the parking lot or from beach combers. The only thing you will hear are the soothing sounds of waves crashing to shore. While the property could definitely use updating in places, the pool and beach area is beautiful, well landscaped, and we never once had any trouble finding chairs at any time of day. There is a rental company across the street from the property where you can rent paddle boards, snorkeling equipment, etc. at reasonable prices. The condo is stocked with pool towels, pool noodles and 2 small coolers. If you have children who are expecting a lazy river, slides, a kids camp, etc. this is not the spot for you, spend an additional 5K and stay at one of the Kaanapali brand name resorts. We were accompanied by our 2 college aged daughters and they felt as if they were in paradise, wanting for nothing. So far as the gym goes, it was definitely a disappointment. The gym itself is located in a low ceilinged, basement 12 x 12 room with a window unit providing adequate air conditioning. There are 2 treadmills, 1 recumbent bike, 1 elliptical machine, a pyramid of free weights, a universal weight machine, 1 mat and 1 ball. If more than 6 people are in the room at any one time it's very crowded. The positive side is that all of the machines are new and in great condition, there is a water cooler available, and you are in Maui. Be creative and go hike, bike, swim, etc. Kapalua, Kaanapali and Lahina are all just minutes away by car. Restaurants, groceries, etc. are all within walking distance. Don't miss out on Miso Phat, across the street, for the best sushi I've ever tasted. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need and there are 3 brand new built in kitchen aid grills located pool side. This place has it all!!!!! Jill H.

Jun 26, 2025 Beautiful Beachfront Condo This condo was absolutely perfect for our Maui stay. The view was breathtaking from the condo, but from the wrap around lanai it was unbelievable. I particularly enjoyed hearing the waves and feeling the ocean breeze as we went to sleep. We used the kitchen daily, and it had everything we needed. It was also very handy to have a washer and dryer in the unit. As an added bonus, there was dish soap, paper towels, laundry detergent, bath soap, shampoo, etc... which made it nice to not have to purchase. The owner was a pleasure to work with and always responded quickly to any question or comment I had. We would highly recommend this condo to friends and family. We definitely plan on staying here again in the future. Hopefully, many, many times! Jun 26, 2025 Great Place Fantastic condo. It's a corner unit and the three of us had plenty of room. Perfect views, HUGE wraparound lanai in an excellent location. Comfortable beds, nicely furnished and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. There were always plenty of chairs at the pool and near the beach. We truly enjoyed our stay. The only thing that could have been better would be if the beach was dragged occasionally. That has no bearing on the condo itself which is why we easily rate it at five stars. We loved the location of the condo complex, also, as it is not too busy around there, yet close to Lahaina and anything else one might need. Judy was wonderful to work with. Jun 26, 2025 Repeat customer My mother, sister and I stayed at Judy's condo for the third time and for the third time, couldn't be happier. Since our visit last summer there were some nice upgrades to new furniture, large screen smart tv, and a new mattress in the guest bedroom. The views are spectacular; I've lived in Hawaii, visited most of the islands, and haven't stayed in a place with such an amazing view. The location is great, away from the busy Ka'anapali area and only a 10 minute drive to Lahaina and Ono's Gelato. The beach outside is beautiful and is there anything better than snorkeling right out your front door? The best snorkeling spots are also a 10 minute drive away if you want to get away from Kahana. The lanai is HUGE and we saw turtles from the lanai almost every day, wear your polaroid sunglasses! Judy is extremely helpful and is always interested in what is best for her guests. My hope is we'll be back again next year; it's become our home away from home and we appreciate Judy sharing her home with us. Theresa H.

Jun 26, 2025 Awesome Condo, Spectacular Views Stayed here for 7 nights and couldn't have been more pleased. The views are great being on the 10th floor and since it is located on the opposite side of the pool area it was very quiet. Being a corner unit the wrap around lanai is huge and was perfect for watching kite surfers, turtles and the wonderful sunsets while enjoying a cocktail. Even better was being so close to the ocean and listening to the sounds of the ocean waves lulling you to sleep every night. Judy was a pleasure to deal with and answered all our questions in a timely manner. Our deposit was returned promptly without any hassles. Everything you could need is furnished in the condo so all you need to bring is food and beverages. Condo has updated appliances, furniture and is well maintained. It is also close to spectacular beaches for snorkeling with lots of shopping and great local restaurants nearby. Pool area never seemed overcrowded and we were always able to find open lounge chairs. We left Maui and spent 6 days on Oahu at the Hilton Hawaiin Village Resort and we are kicking ourselves for not just staying at this condo for 6 more days as it was much more comfortable, less crowded, and more relaxing. We would definitely recommend staying at this condo and look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Maui. Jun 26, 2025 Beautiful Condo in Great Location!! Aloha! We have just returned from 10 days on Maui. This is our second visit to this condo and it is absolutely wonderful! First of all, it is a corner unit and is bigger than the average vacation condo. There were four of us and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The view is second to none - the wraparound lanai is a great place to take it easy and watch the ocean and beach and check out the sea turtles as they swim by! We were too late for whale season but during that time I believe it would be an excellent whale watching spot. We had a first rate location to watch the sunset and the views of Molokai and Lanai are spectacular! The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need and the bedrooms are very nice with plenty of drawers and closet space. The beds are king size and are super comfortable. The living room is very nicely furnished with plenty of comfy seating for a family. The bathrooms had lots of soft towels and are clean with updated fixtures. There is a good sized TV in the living room and a smaller one in the master bedroom. The condo is in a very nice building and the building is in a great location, in a very pretty part of the island. There is a good grocery store only a few minutes away and that makes it very convenient to shop for meals which you can eat on the lanai! The condo has plenty of parking space and a nice pool area. There are loungers on the beach and a little snack bar by the pool. There is an activities desk in the building lobby which is staffed during the day and always seemed to be hopping and busy with people booking activities! This truly is a beautiful condo with spectacular views and I highly recommend it. I would definitely stay here again! Michelle B.

Jun 26, 2025 Beautiful fully equipped condo I stayed at the condo April 30, 2015 with 2 friends for a 5 night stay. The condo was equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was immaculate. The view from the lanai was breathtaking and I could not sit there and enjoy the view long enough. The colors of the ocean were awesome. As other reviews have stated, there are a couple of restaurants and a convenience store/ gas station 100 yards from the condo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was quite comfortable. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Maui. David M.

The unit is equipped with everything you could possibly need - beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and a well appointed kitchen. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I could have sat on the lanai the entire time enjoying the views and breezes. We were too late for the whales but saw several sea turtles. Jun 26, 2025 Return Visitor - Excellent place to stay! My husband and I stayed at this condo 2 years ago with my father/step mom, and loved it so much we all returned this year. We were certainly not disappointed, as it was every bit as nice as we remembered, and some amenities had been updated which made the stay even more enjoyable! We saw whales and turtles from the deck, snorkeled from the beach everyday, swam in the pool, and it is walking distance to several resturants/bars and stores if you need something quick. It is also very close to shopping centers and major grocery stores. We love this place and look forward to staying here in the future. Many of the ocean pictures you see are right from the living room - when the curtains are open all you see is ocean. It is spectacular! Carrie P.

Jun 26, 2025 AMAZING!! Didn't want to leave!!! We travelled to Maui for a Christmas getaway with our two children ages 11 and 14. This condo was exactly what we expected and more! The view is absolutely amazing and the condo had everything we needed including a washer and dryer and a full kitchen. We had a hard time getting our kids to leave the condo they loved it so much. The pool was nice but too cold for a December dip! They have a great cabana and the concierge was funny and very helpful. I would recommend setting up tours before you arrive in Maui though--contact the concierge in advance for sure as tours fill up. The owner, Judy Beisner, was easy to work with and easy to contact. We received our full cleaning deposit about 2 weeks after our trip. I would LOVE to go back to this location and would recommend it for anyone. Car rental would be beneficial too...we drove everywhere. Kim R.

Jun 26, 2025 Can't beat those views! This condo is one of the best secrets on Maui. We have stayed there 4 times. We absolutely love the location, I don’t think you can get any closer to the ocean. The views from the 40’ wrap around deck are amazing. We also love the condo itself, it has everything we need to stay comfortably and the complex has several BBQs by the pool which makes it easy to make an enjoyable meal. The beach is a good size with plenty of seating. Judy has also be a pleasure to work with each and every stay. Judy was wonderful and very easy to work with and answered any questions I had in a very professional and timely manner. The condo was perfect for my trip and the views were incredible. The condo is in a perfect location, close to Kapalua, Kannapali or Lahaina. The accommodations are perfect and comfortable, the location is exactly where you want to be and the views are amazing. I don't have one negative thing to say. Jun 26, 2025 Wonderful condo! We just returned from a stay on Maui in this condo. It was very spacious, very clean and had all we needed for our convenience. The owner provides lots of extras that make the stay comfortable. The pool is cozy with a snack shack, and shaded areas. The beach area is large and clean with great spots for snorkeling. There is a concierge in the condo and a rental service nearby for paddle boards and kayaks, etc. We saw several sea turtles and had so much fun with the SUP and snorkeling. The balcony is large with incredible views. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby as well. This condo was perfect for our family because it is steps from the beach, quiet and not crowded, but close to lots of places to eat and recreation options. We hope to return in the future! Robyn H.

Great location, views, spacious, well-equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, etc. Basically all the comforts of home. The owner was very professional in the easy rental process (mailed her a check + refundable cleaning deposit), and we communicated via email on logistics. Jun 26, 2025 Just looking at the pictures makes me miss being there! This condo was just perfect for our vacation! We got in very late and were extremely fatigued and our initial response was a warm, welcoming, comfortable unit. It had more than we expected, comfy beds and furniture, extra towels, beach chairs, and all the kitchen needs that you could ever need. Not too hard to feel like you are in a home away from home. In the morning, we were stunned by our view toward Molokai! My husband and I had to jump out of bed and get down to the beach ASAP! Downstairs, all of the staff were cheerful and full of information. We did this every morning, must be something if you are willing to get up early every day while on vacation. The location was perfect for all of the outdoor activities that we wanted to do. We did a lot of snorkeling, and as others have mentioned, it was amazing. We swam with turtles that were bigger than me! (I am not too big, but bigger than 5 ft!). Downtown was not far away and we found some great places to eat and just wander around. We were able to do many day trips from our location. The owner was very good at her communication with us and was very gracious. We would highly recommend this condo to stay and would love to stay here again in the future. Do not hesitate in booking! Jun 26, 2025 Heavenly We had an absolutely wonderful stay in your beautiful home. The condo was truly a big surprise. Photos on VRBO cannot accurately show how warm it feels or the perfect views afforded by the window lined lanai. And, it is much roomier than the images can convey. Rainbows galore and sea turtles frolicking in the water below offered daily entertainment and lots of subject matter for our camera aficionados. The condo was one of our favorite places to be while on Maui and I would happily recommend it to anyone. It was sparklingly clean and we had everything needed to make meals and enjoy the beach below. Jun 26, 2025 Spectacular location and outstanding views! We arrived for a 7 day stay with a long list of to-do's, to-sees, and to-eat-ats. Once you are in this condo you are not going to want to leave. In fact, we ate 5 of the 6 nights at the condo making sure we didn't miss a sunset. I am a amateur photographer and on the last day, right before we packed out, a full rainbow right off the lanai was the perfect ending to a wonderful vacation. The owner is very easy to work with and was very prompt in her responses. The reviews on this unit is spot on. Here are a couple of FAQS that I couldn't find in the review: There are 12 stories in the building and each floor has 2 corner units. This unit is on the 10th and, in my opinion, has the best viewing angle being on the north side corner. Parking is easy and plentiful. You can snorkel right in front of the condo, see sea turtles (in and out of the water), rays and lots of fishes. Napili and Kapulua bays are less than a mile away for better reef snorkeling. Right in front of the condo (Royal Kahana) is a strip mall that others have mentioned: here are the notable stores - Hawaiian Village Coffee, Maui Brewing Company, Something Grill (used to be a Roys), Maui Dive Shop (rent gear - cheap and easier than lugging your own), Black Angus and if you must, McDonalds. Even though there is a master and a guest room, I would consider it having 2 masters. Same size, same closet space, same bath, 2 sinks in master and 1 in guest. Master has view, guest has hallway view. You spend so much time in the living area (which has 70% floor to ceiling glass and windows in the other 30%), you don't spend too much time in your room. We stayed at the Grand Wailea for 11 days in December. My wife and I were torn on which we liked the most. For the money and the amazing views, this place easily took first place. During whale season this condo has VIP seats to the best show on earth. Can't wait to go back! Enjoy, you won't regret it. Kerry T.

Jun 26, 2025 Location! Beautiful Interior! We LOVED this place!! The views are unbelievable--we even saw Oahu in the distance, along with several sightings of turtles! The lanai could not have been larger or provided us with a greater view. The place itself is immaculate; they provide shampoo/conditioner/soap; and though the 2nd bdr doesn't have a view of the ocean, it has its own bathroom and is spacious. The mstr bdr has its own access to the lanai as well as large windows overlooking the ocean. Linens are provided for and of good quality (not always so with other rentals), even the carpet was luxurious! They also provide beach towels along with the usual bath towels. Right across the street (walking distance) is a gas station, full of drinks (including wine, champagne, etc.), snacks, and even some grocery items--VERY convenient. The location was also perfect for getting to all our activities, whether for ziplining, driving the road to Hana, or shopping & eating in the Lahaina district. We would stay at this place again in a heartbeat--we HIGHLY recommend it!! J L.

Jun 26, 2025 Wonderful experience, amazing views, sea turtles! My husband and I took my father and mother to Maui for a family vacation. The pictures of this property don't fully represent how beautiful and clean it truly is. The entire condo is absolutely amazing, and we will definitely be back. The 40 foot lanai is right on the ocean. Everyday there are many sea turtles that swim around the shore. Beautiful semi-private beach that was never very crowded. We brought our snorkeling gear and snorkeled just off the beach. The fish and coral were beautiful, and we typically saw large sea turtles. The water was not very rough, and swimming was great. This condo is very close to many resturants, or you can cook in the gourmet kitchen. There are also many gas grills available by the pool area. There is a private grassy area just above the sandy beach where you can read or nap. The ocean waves/sounds were wonderful at night and there was always a very nice breeze blowing through the condo by leaving doors/windows opened. I just can't say enough good things about this condo, and the location. Carrie P.

In attempting to say something meaningful that has not previously been said, consider this: Staying in this condo is like staying in someone's personal home. It is beautifully appointed, and never once did we lack for something we needed or wanted. The availability of underground parking is very nice, as we had a convertible and this allowed us to leave the top down overnight. 42 foot lanai is special! But then so is the entire property. Jun 26, 2025 A piece of heaven. If you are looking for a place to stay in Maui, look no further. From the moment we walked into the condo we felt like we were in our own home. The condo was beautifully furnished and had all of the amenities one would find in their own home. We stayed in the master bedroom and left the windows open. It was wonderful falling asleep and waking up to the waves hitting the shore. The spacious lanai was a great place to have a morning cup of coffee and in the evening watch those gorgeous sunsets. When we return to Maui we will definitely stay at this condo. I have been telling all of my friends what a great condo we stayed in and they all wanted the rental info. Dealing with the owner was great. She made the whole process very easy and was extremely helpful in her recommendations of restaurants and attractions.

Jun 26, 2025 Wonderful Place to Stay I just spent 2 weeks in the condo with my family and we had a wonderful time. When you can sit out on the deck and watch the world go by nothing is better. Walk down the nice sandy beach to the rocks and go swim with the turtles. Restaurants, grocery store and pub are all within walking distance so leave the car in the parking lot. The condo is clean and well furnished. I plan to go back again.

Jun 26, 2025 As close to paradise as you'll get Our time in this 10th floor condo were the best days of our two week trip to Hawaii. It is absolutely wonderful and made us feel at home from the instant we walked through the door. Clean, quiet and well maintained with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The Royal Kahana resort is well staffed and equipped to make your time out of the condo just as enjoyable and your time in. We spent many hours on the lanai gazing across the channel toward Molokai and Lanai and the colors of the water were stunning, the breezes soft and gentle. Rainbows, gorgeous sunsets and gentle rains helped wash away the stress and worries of the 'outside' world. We can’t think of any other place that could be better. People who have seen pictures from there think we’ve done something to make the them better than reality but we tell them "no, reality looks better than the pictures." We're making plans on returning to Maui in the future and this absolutely will be our residence of choice. JAMES H.

Jun 26, 2025 The condo is wonderful wi... The condo is wonderful with spectacular views. The interior is very nicely appointed. There is indoor parking in the basement of the unit and near the elevators. The owners are a pleasure to deal with. Maui is great. Recommend snorkeling at Honolua Bay (about 10 minutes north). To get there you get a wonderful short walk thru a mini rainforest to boot! and eat at Roy's (around the corner) and Mama's Fish House (near Pa'ia). For a route less traveled, go north and around the northern tip of Maui back to Kahalui. Make sure you stop at Julia's banana bread stand. It is the best banana bread! Of course, the road to Hana is a must. Chris C.

Jun 26, 2025 Absolutely Gorgeous!!!! We stayed in this luxurious condo for 5 wonderful nights. The sweeping views from the wraparound lanai are breathtaking. It makes you feel like you are sitting out in the middle of the ocean. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied. The unit is air conditioned which is very welcome on those hot humid nights. A washer/dryer in the unit was helpful. It's a 5-minute walk to pick up groceries at Whaler's General Store or to dine at the Maui Brewing Company (which we did twice). The pictures of the unit have not been skewed to make it appear larger than it actually is. The unit is as large as the pictures depict. Parking was easy. It is a very quiet area. The owner provided excellent communication. I would definitely stay here again and not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends. Gerry B.
