  • Jan 13, 2025 Beautiful view right out the patio door! The condo is just as described and pictured, perfect location, ground floor access to the most breath taking ocean view. The back grass area overlooking the ocean was our favorite part. We enjoyed coffee and peace every morning, gorgeous sunsets every night. Pool right around the corner. Cute little shops nearby, the best cinnamon rolls on the island are few minute walk. Such a great location & the condo had everything we needed - including golf clubs, tennis rackets, beach chairs. We had a small issue with an odor, but it was taken care of right away and the communication was great. We will definitely look to stay at this condo again! Ami H

  • Dec 11, 2023 Papakea beachfront We have stayed at Papakea many times but this is the first time that we stayed right on the beach. It was great, were just feet from the ocean, beautiful view, particularly of the sunset. Papakea is a great location and works well for kids. The unit is nice inside, we have stayed in some that are dated/worn but L106 was not that way. Tons of towels, and table and chairs on the lanai, sat out there for hours. We had contact from the management group, but we had no issues so never needed to have their involvement once we were there. Jody K

We loved the views and the stay. It was quite and peaceful! We were lucky to see turtles and a seal right outside the condo! The condo was stocked with sand toys and chairs! It is also close to many eateries and stores! Can’t wait to book again!! Christina H

  • Jul 07, 2026 Great location and amenities, spotty communication with property manager The condo is located right beside the ocean. You can step outside and see the sunrises, sunsets, and waves all day. It's not shown on the listing, but there is a narrow sandy beach within a minute's walk from the condo which was great for our little ones in those in-between moments. The condo is also steps away from the pool and very close to parking. We loved the location - walking distance to a well stocked grocery store and food trucks, close to amazing beaches. The house is also stocked with everything you need from tupperware to beach chairs to sand toys and pool noodles. We did have an issue with the washer and dryer not working though, and it took multiple tries to get a response from the management team. Ultimately, it was resolved, but without a lot of communication and clarity. It was a minor inconvenience for us, but I did expect a little more information about when the repair person was going to start and finish the work. We were asked to leave the property during the repairs and they said they would update us when the work was done so we could return, but I didn't hear anything even after asking. Eventually we went back and things were working. I texted to thank them, but again, nothing in response. Maybe it was because it was a holiday week? Overall though, the condo was great for our trip and I recommend it to other travelers with families. (The murphy bed is suprisingly very comfortable!!!) Brook Y

The bunkbeds were great for the kids and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the beachfront location. The pool is so close and we never had an issue finding parking nearby. Check in was very easy and we did not have any issues throughout our stay. Definitely recommend this place! Arisbet P
  • Jul 07, 2026 Great location and nice inside! We just spent a week in this condo and it made our stay so much more enjoyable. It was our first time staying in a condo rather than a hotel room and I think that is definitely the way to go! It was very spacious inside for our family of 5 and nicely updated. We loved sitting on the lanai every night to relax after a long day of adventure and listen to the waves. You can easily walk to the sandy beach, an ABC store, and food. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked well inside. I’m so glad we chose to stay here and would definitely stay here again if we ever came back! Joseph M

  • Jul 07, 2026 Can't beat the view We stayed with 6 adults and one toddler (2 years old). For 6 adults, it could get a little cramped, but there is plenty of space to spread outside or hang out at the pool. We loved watching the whales from just outside our room and binoculars were provided for us to give us and even better look. Check-in was easy with a key left at the resort check-in for us. We did run out of toilet paper during our stay for the week and had to supply some more, but there is an ABC store around the corner for any needs. I've thought about this place every day since leaving. Eric L
  • Jul 07, 2026 Papakea Perfection The reviews we read made us choose this unit and we were extremely happy with everything. You do not need to bring much beach gear. There are plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and toys. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pans, spices etc. Beds were very comfortable. The whale show and sunset from the Lanai was wonderful. We really enjoyed the “grass” lawn right outside the door. The sandy beach is a close walk or drive away. Pool, hot tub and grill were all close and enjoyed often. Love this place! I lived in Maui 2 years a while back and I have visited often. This place is the first I can honestly say I would visit again over and over. Absolutely perfect spot!!! Teri M

  • Jul 07, 2026 Paradise with an incredible view Just thinking about our vacation makes me want to go right back to this condo where we had the most incredible time. The view being right in front of the ocean is priceless. There’s really nothing better than being with family and making memories. It was super easy check in and always parking. There were turtles swimming right in front the condo and we would watch them swim from above. Short walk to the beach and sitting in the grass watching the sunsets were our favorite things to do. This condo was amazing and super accommodating. The condo was decorated super cute and the beds all worked out perfect.   • Jul 07, 2026 This place is a hidden gem and a 12/10! I visited this property along with 7 other friends on a work-from-home trip. Honestly, the ad undersold the condo - this place had everything. The view of the ocean was amazing to have while taking work calls, the backyard allowed us to spread out, and provided beach chairs gave us the ability to tan on the beach or in the yard while playing football or volleyball with the provided equipment. The place was fully stocked with snorkel gear, golf clubs, towels, and binoculars to name a few amenities. The master bed was extremely comfortable and the whole house was spotless when we arrived. On top of that, the resort offered 2 pools and 2 hot tubs for our use that i did not even see advertised with the condo. If there wasn't a back-to-back booking behind ours, we would have extended our stay. I can't recommend this place enough - we absolutely loved it and hope to come back soon! McKenzie E

Jan 13, 2025 Beautiful view right out the patio door! The condo is just as described and pictured, perfect location, ground floor access to the most breath taking ocean view. The back grass area overlooking the ocean was our favorite part. We enjoyed coffee and peace every morning, gorgeous sunsets every night. Pool right around the corner. Cute little shops nearby, the best cinnamon rolls on the island are few minute walk. Such a great location & the condo had everything we needed - including golf clubs, tennis rackets, beach chairs. Dec 11, 2023 Papakea beachfront We have stayed at Papakea many times but this is the first time that we stayed right on the beach. It was great, were just feet from the ocean, beautiful view, particularly of the sunset. Papakea is a great location and works well for kids. The unit is nice inside, we have stayed in some that are dated/worn but L106 was not that way. Tons of towels, and table and chairs on the lanai, sat out there for hours. We had contact from the management group, but we had no issues so never needed to have their involvement once we were there. Jody K

We loved the views and the stay. It was quite and peaceful! We were lucky to see turtles and a seal right outside the condo! The condo was stocked with sand toys and chairs! Jul 07, 2026 Great location and amenities, spotty communication with property manager The condo is located right beside the ocean. You can step outside and see the sunrises, sunsets, and waves all day. It's not shown on the listing, but there is a narrow sandy beach within a minute's walk from the condo which was great for our little ones in those in-between moments. The condo is also steps away from the pool and very close to parking. We loved the location - walking distance to a well stocked grocery store and food trucks, close to amazing beaches. The house is also stocked with everything you need from tupperware to beach chairs to sand toys and pool noodles. We did have an issue with the washer and dryer not working though, and it took multiple tries to get a response from the management team. Ultimately, it was resolved, but without a lot of communication and clarity. It was a minor inconvenience for us, but I did expect a little more information about when the repair person was going to start and finish the work. We were asked to leave the property during the repairs and they said they would update us when the work was done so we could return, but I didn't hear anything even after asking. Eventually we went back and things were working. I texted to thank them, but again, nothing in response. Maybe it was because it was a holiday week? Overall though, the condo was great for our trip and I recommend it to other travelers with families. (The murphy bed is suprisingly very comfortable!!!) Brook Y

The bunkbeds were great for the kids and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the beachfront location. The pool is so close and we never had an issue finding parking nearby. It was our first time staying in a condo rather than a hotel room and I think that is definitely the way to go! It was very spacious inside for our family of 5 and nicely updated. We loved sitting on the lanai every night to relax after a long day of adventure and listen to the waves. You can easily walk to the sandy beach, an ABC store, and food. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked well inside. I’m so glad we chose to stay here and would definitely stay here again if we ever came back! Joseph M

Jul 07, 2026 Can't beat the view We stayed with 6 adults and one toddler (2 years old). For 6 adults, it could get a little cramped, but there is plenty of space to spread outside or hang out at the pool. We loved watching the whales from just outside our room and binoculars were provided for us to give us and even better look. Check-in was easy with a key left at the resort check-in for us. We did run out of toilet paper during our stay for the week and had to supply some more, but there is an ABC store around the corner for any needs. Jul 07, 2026 Papakea Perfection The reviews we read made us choose this unit and we were extremely happy with everything. You do not need to bring much beach gear. There are plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and toys. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pans, spices etc. Beds were very comfortable. The whale show and sunset from the Lanai was wonderful. We really enjoyed the “grass” lawn right outside the door. The sandy beach is a close walk or drive away. Pool, hot tub and grill were all close and enjoyed often. Love this place! I lived in Maui 2 years a while back and I have visited often. This place is the first I can honestly say I would visit again over and over. Absolutely perfect spot!!! Teri M

The view being right in front of the ocean is priceless. There’s really nothing better than being with family and making memories. It was super easy check in and always parking. There were turtles swimming right in front the condo and we would watch them swim from above. Short walk to the beach and sitting in the grass watching the sunsets were our favorite things to do. This condo was amazing and super accommodating. The condo was decorated super cute and the beds all worked out perfect. Jul 07, 2026 This place is a hidden gem and a 12/10! I visited this property along with 7 other friends on a work-from-home trip. Honestly, the ad undersold the condo - this place had everything. The view of the ocean was amazing to have while taking work calls, the backyard allowed us to spread out, and provided beach chairs gave us the ability to tan on the beach or in the yard while playing football or volleyball with the provided equipment. The place was fully stocked with snorkel gear, golf clubs, towels, and binoculars to name a few amenities. The master bed was extremely comfortable and the whole house was spotless when we arrived. On top of that, the resort offered 2 pools and 2 hot tubs for our use that i did not even see advertised with the condo. The condo was well equipped with almost everything that we needed. They even provided beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. You don’t get that at a hotel. The kitchen was well equipped which made it very comfortable for use to cook most of our meals. The management company was very accommodating. We needed extra blankets and they rushed over with brand new down comforters. The best part of our trip was the ocean front accommodations and the beautiful sunsets. Wow. Reviewer Comments: This condo has it all - great attention to detail inside as well as fabulous location. A ground floor unit is great to step right out onto the grassy area that is steps from the ocean. The inside is packed with everything you will need on your vacation for beach fun, including chairs, toys and towels. The unit Is beautiful inside, with great attention to detail in the decorating. The condo is walking distance from stores, restaurants, food carts and fruit stands so you will want for nothing. We rented during a change in ownership and management companies which could have been a scary experience but this management company was very communicative and professional during the transition. We had a fabulous family vacation here - you will too! We would absolutely rent this unit again. Terri C
