  • Nov 24, 2025 We hit the jackpot with this rental! We hit the jackpot with this rental! Perfect location, perfect balance of resort living and independent condo. The king + 2 queen beds made it uniquely spacious for our family of 6. It was clean and easy walk out access to the pool, beach, walk to amazing restaurants and grocery stores. The room had some toys and supplies for the beach, kitchen had lots of supplies, full size fridge/freezer, easy parking. There were lots of vacationers going in and out during our longer stay- there are noise rules which helps but the only issue with the room was that we are next the the elevator and stairs so we had some annoying noise made by people not following the noise rules- but that’s hardly a complaint and you can’t avoid that in any multi unit complex or hotel. I don’t like to spill the beans on such an awesome place but hopefully it will be available for us next time! Brendan M

  • Jul 23, 2024 Maui Life at Papakea An excellent two-bedroom condo on the ground floor with views from the lanai of the ocean, the pool, and the putting green. We were very pleased with our accommodations. It was very clean and well supplied with necessary items. We enjoyed the beach, especially nearby Kaanapali. My grandsons loved jumping off Black Rock. Food trucks and great restaurants were nearby as well as the always-needed ABC store. Would highly recommend this place and would love to return! Eugene V

This is a great condo for a family of 5, love the resort, and the condo was clean with great extras, beach chairs, an umbrella, and even putters and balls for playing on the putting green right in front of the condo. The outdoor space was fantastic, and the location was great, close to the pool, really as good as anywhere we have stayed in Kaanapali. John F

  • Jul 03, 2023 A Slice of Paradise We absolutely loved our stay in Papakea K105. The resort is wonderful. Our little kids loved the pool. We loved being on the ground floor so we could just walk out to the pool. Our whole family loved the location (walking down to put our feet in the ocean, the nearby food truck park, being centrally located for great snorkeling beaches). We hope to return someday soon! Ground floor and steps from the pool and beach. The condo is bright and open, spacious and fully stocked. Lots of comfortable seating outside and inside with a stunning view of the ocean. We really appreciated all the beach gear. A 5 minute walk will have you at the food truck park and plaza up the street. The only fixes needed to the condo are the dishwasher door--look out! It was broken and would constantly drop down so we had to be careful while in the kitchen. The sliding doors to the storage closet and washer dryer need to be fixed as they would not slide without a great deal of effort. Other than that, the place was amazing and the property managers were so friendly and helpful and got back to me immediately if I had questions.Thanks for an amazing stay! We can't wait to come back! The location was perfectly placed near put out golf, the pool, and just a few steps away from the ocean, all while walking distance from several stores/restaurants, and food truck park. We very much enjoyed Java Jazz for breakfast during our stay, which was just a short walk away. Paige J

The property and location of the condo was great for our trip. We had a couple minor issues but nothing that caused any problem with experience of staying at the unit or our trip. (Additional light bulbs need to be put in the ceiling fans in main room and small bedroom, upper towel rack in master bathroom needs to be affixed better would fall, shelf in corner cabient fell, lower shelf in refrigerator fell a few times, and dresser knobs in small bedroom needs to be affixed)Like I said small items but overall experience at the condo was very good Toni J

But I have to say this stay people were very noisy, slamining doors, yelling late into the night. Sense this has never happened before it makes me wonder if the resort is under new management.   • Dec 11, 2025 Alaskans retreat to find relaxation in the sun. Had a great time at Papakea with my family. Perfect location of the unit in the complex and in town for everything we wanted to do. Really accessible for my dad who isn’t handicap but doesn’t get around great….ground floor close to the water and pool awesome. Condo had everything we needed and never had to contact manager. Loved being on the ground level and just a quick walk to the pool are and ocean. The property has beautiful gardens and you have a partial view of the ocean from the patio. We had a wonderful 10-day family vacation at the Papakea. Accommodations were clean, the property manager was quick to respond to all of our questions, and the facilities were beautiful and relaxing. We'd definitely recommend this property to family and friends. We were surprised to find the condo stocked with 7 beach towels, 5 beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and sand toys available for our use. Our only suggestion to the property manager is to get the couch cleaned. It's had far too may sweaty bodies lounging on it and it's due for a thorough cleaning. Nate T

  • Dec 11, 2025 Fun family vacation spot! We enjoyed our week in this ground level condo. Our friends were on the 4th floor in the same unit and they had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. We have 3 kids, 13, 8, and 3, so being on the ground right next to the parking lot and the pool was so convenient! The location on the island is great, it was easy to drive north and boogie board and snorkel and we also drove south and spent 2 days in Wailea, where the wind and the water was perfect for our 3 year old. There is a grocery store across the street that was easy enough to walk to. The condo had a life jacket for our little one as well as sand toys and cooler bags(which I packed all of those not knowing). There were also beach chairs, reusable tote bags for groceries and nice beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Aluminum foil, tongs and a spice rack would have been nice for grilling (not sure if spices are Covid friendly).The fridge had a nice water filter for us to fill our water bottles with cold water and it made lots of ice with an extra storage tray in the freezer. There was no sandy beach here and one of the 2 pools and hot tub on the property were closed, so the one available hot tub was crowded every evening. When I emailed to ask the property manager about amenities available due to Covid, this was not mentioned. Luckily, the pool right out our door was the one that was open. The king bed was comfortable and the guest bedroom with the queen bed and twin bed was perfect for our kids. Their bathroom had a door between the shower and the vanity which made it nice for sharing. The TV’s were very nice. We watched movies on our own Netflix and Hulu accounts when it was rainy. Our friends had a keypad entry to their room, which was very convenient for them, we were constantly looking for and forgetting our room key! We had a wonderful time together and cannot wait to return! Koelle P

Suggest getting rid of big table and add few more comfortable chairs. Hard to figure out TV system even for staff. But over nice place for family vacation.   • Dec 11, 2025 a great place to stay in Maui... My wife and I stayed in K-105 recently and had a wonderful time. The condo is spacious and very clean with everything you could ask for in a rental. The property is very well kept and there is ample parking! All of our txt msgs and emails with questions were answered promptly. The property is located a short drive to Kaanapali and Lahaina, and there a many good dining options located not far away. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Joseph M

  • Dec 11, 2025 Amazing. Spent a week at this unit with 3 kids, 9, 5, and 2...couldn't have been better. Resort is a quick drive to front street or the resort area shops. We visited the island for a wedding and all my family rented different units in the Papakea resort. The pool area offered a nice outside patio for meals, plenty of BBQ's and the pool was fun. The kids could walk from unit to unit and they of course met at the putting course. There is no beach access directly at the resort but a 1 minute walk and you are at a great beach for the kids. This unit has lots of extras (beach chairs, sand toys, umbrellas) that were a fun find. Great trip, great memories and great fun. Melissa A

Reviewer Comments: We were vacationing with our kids ages 13, 11, 9 and 7 and this condo perfectly met our needs. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the kitchen was fully stocked. The "extras" beach towels and chairs, spices, hand soap, putters for the putting green, etc made the stay that much more enjoyable. The only thing you might want to be aware of with this ground level unit is that there is an elevator outside the master bedroom and sometimes in the morning we were woken at 6 AM with people coming and going. Overall, it's a very quiet complex, but this might bother some people. We would not hesitate to stay here again should we return to Maui in the future! Katie G

Nov 24, 2025 We hit the jackpot with this rental! We hit the jackpot with this rental! Perfect location, perfect balance of resort living and independent condo. The king + 2 queen beds made it uniquely spacious for our family of 6. It was clean and easy walk out access to the pool, beach, walk to amazing restaurants and grocery stores. The room had some toys and supplies for the beach, kitchen had lots of supplies, full size fridge/freezer, easy parking. There were lots of vacationers going in and out during our longer stay- there are noise rules which helps but the only issue with the room was that we are next the the elevator and stairs so we had some annoying noise made by people not following the noise rules- but that’s hardly a complaint and you can’t avoid that in any multi unit complex or hotel. I don’t like to spill the beans on such an awesome place but hopefully it will be available for us next time! Brendan M

We loved being on the ground floor so we could just walk out to the pool. Our whole family loved the location (walking down to put our feet in the ocean, the nearby food truck park, being centrally located for great snorkeling beaches). We hope to return someday soon! Ground floor and steps from the pool and beach. The condo is bright and open, spacious and fully stocked. Lots of comfortable seating outside and inside with a stunning view of the ocean. We really appreciated all the beach gear. A 5 minute walk will have you at the food truck park and plaza up the street. The only fixes needed to the condo are the dishwasher door--look out! It was broken and would constantly drop down so we had to be careful while in the kitchen. The sliding doors to the storage closet and washer dryer need to be fixed as they would not slide without a great deal of effort. Other than that, the place was amazing and the property managers were so friendly and helpful and got back to me immediately if I had questions.Thanks for an amazing stay! We can't wait to come back! Dec 11, 2025 Fun family vacation spot! We enjoyed our week in this ground level condo. Our friends were on the 4th floor in the same unit and they had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. We have 3 kids, 13, 8, and 3, so being on the ground right next to the parking lot and the pool was so convenient! The location on the island is great, it was easy to drive north and boogie board and snorkel and we also drove south and spent 2 days in Wailea, where the wind and the water was perfect for our 3 year old. There is a grocery store across the street that was easy enough to walk to. The condo had a life jacket for our little one as well as sand toys and cooler bags(which I packed all of those not knowing). There were also beach chairs, reusable tote bags for groceries and nice beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Aluminum foil, tongs and a spice rack would have been nice for grilling (not sure if spices are Covid friendly).The fridge had a nice water filter for us to fill our water bottles with cold water and it made lots of ice with an extra storage tray in the freezer. There was no sandy beach here and one of the 2 pools and hot tub on the property were closed, so the one available hot tub was crowded every evening. When I emailed to ask the property manager about amenities available due to Covid, this was not mentioned. Luckily, the pool right out our door was the one that was open. The king bed was comfortable and the guest bedroom with the queen bed and twin bed was perfect for our kids. Their bathroom had a door between the shower and the vanity which made it nice for sharing. The TV’s were very nice. We watched movies on our own Netflix and Hulu accounts when it was rainy. Our friends had a keypad entry to their room, which was very convenient for them, we were constantly looking for and forgetting our room key! We had a wonderful time together and cannot wait to return! Koelle P

Suggest getting rid of big table and add few more comfortable chairs. Hard to figure out TV system even for staff. But over nice place for family vacation. Before trip asked few questions of property manager by email, never got answers. June W

Dec 11, 2025 a great place to stay in Maui... My wife and I stayed in K-105 recently and had a wonderful time. The condo is spacious and very clean with everything you could ask for in a rental. The property is very well kept and there is ample parking! All of our txt msgs and emails with questions were answered promptly. The property is located a short drive to Kaanapali and Lahaina, and there a many good dining options located not far away. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Joseph M

Dec 11, 2025 Amazing. Spent a week at this unit with 3 kids, 9, 5, and 2...couldn't have been better. Resort is a quick drive to front street or the resort area shops. We visited the island for a wedding and all my family rented different units in the Papakea resort. The pool area offered a nice outside patio for meals, plenty of BBQ's and the pool was fun. The kids could walk from unit to unit and they of course met at the putting course. There is no beach access directly at the resort but a 1 minute walk and you are at a great beach for the kids. This unit has lots of extras (beach chairs, sand toys, umbrellas) that were a fun find. Great trip, great memories and great fun. Melissa A

The property and location of the condo was great for our trip. We had a couple minor issues but nothing that caused any problem with experience of staying at the unit or our trip. (Additional light bulbs need to be put in the ceiling fans in main room and small bedroom, upper towel rack in master bathroom needs to be affixed better would fall, shelf in corner cabient fell, lower shelf in refrigerator fell a few times, and dresser knobs in small bedroom needs to be affixed) Like I said small items but overall experience at the condo was very good Toni J

Reviewer Comments: We were vacationing with our kids ages 13, 11, 9 and 7 and this condo perfectly met our needs. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the kitchen was fully stocked. The "extras" beach towels and chairs, spices, hand soap, putters for the putting green, etc made the stay that much more enjoyable. The only thing you might want to be aware of with this ground level unit is that there is an elevator outside the master bedroom and sometimes in the morning we were woken at 6 AM with people coming and going. Overall, it's a very quiet complex, but this might bother some people. We would not hesitate to stay here again should we return to Maui in the future! Katie G

The pool and the putting course were HUGE bonuses for our 3 year old! There was construction on the path that would have allowed us to walk directly to the swimming beach, the detour took about 10-15 minutes. The rental said it could sleep 7, but only 4 beach towels were provided, which was a little inconvenient. With 3 children staying in our rental the "Quiet Time" from 10pm-7am was appreciated and observed by all residents. We would definitely consider coming back for another family trip! Michael M
