When days were too windy or too rainy to go to the beach, it was wonderful to have that view. Don’t park on the line in the lot or security will put a semi permanent warning sticker on your window! You can hear the ocean all night. The condo itself was clean and equipped with everything you could need. The beach supplies were fantastic including toys, chairs, an umbrella. The panoramic ocean views were absolutely breathtaking — we could see the sparkling blue water from the living room and the balcony. Every single day we spotted sea turtles swimming right below us, which made the experience feel magical and truly one-of-a-kind. The space was comfortable, clean, and perfectly located for a relaxing Maui getaway. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset from the balcony were definite highlights of our trip. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful oceanfront retreat in Maui. Already looking forward to rebooking for our next trip! Adam &

A/C is out in the building until the end of July, and there is some roof work done as well, so if you plan on staying inside the unit during the day, this might not be the best option for you until all the work is done. We were well aware of these items as the property management was very proactive about letting us know. We were fine with it as we’d spent the majority of the day exploring the island or hanging out by the beach. Units have amazing views and are well stocked with all necessities. Also, we can’t say enough good things about management, their communication, responsiveness, etc. Their work ethic has helped create an amazing Maui experience. Mahalo for that! Michal W

The large 2 bedroom corner unit had sweeping views of the ocean, reef full of turtles, whales in the distance, mountains, Molokai, Lanai, and Black Rock. Dukes Beach House and the Kaanapali boardwalk were also right there. This was the perfect spot for my family since we have a 2-year-old and we could enjoy the views while he took naps. The place was also nicely furnished and the concierge team was very responsive. We will be back again! Jeff H

From the amazing views to the duel head shower to the snorkeling steps from the building, everything was great. Even when we had a little hiccup with a cooler not being available, the management staff got us a new one right away. This place hit everything our family of 4 needed for a great vacation in Maui.   • Mar 05, 2024 Absolutely Beautiful We’ve stayed at various condos in the Mahana for several years. This was the most beautiful view of all (although all the views are wonderful). It’s not only a corner unit, but a corner looking down Kaanapali beach, which made it perfect. The management company did a great job and made the whole process wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was very clean, as well as simply beautiful. The only two minor suggestions I have are minimal: usually, such a beautiful condo with this view has binoculars. I wish they had some in this unit because the whales and turtles were very active. Secondly, it would have been wonderful to have a few spices in the kitchen. Both issues were pretty insignificant. These aren’t complaints, just suggestions. This condo is perfect and will be a joy for anyone who’s thinking of renting! We loved every minute and it was so hard to leave! Darci C

From the dining room and balcony you have a direct view of the ocean and reef below (this is a beachfront unit) and we saw sea turtles daily, plus seals and manta rays at times as well. Whales could occasionally be seen though pretty far away. The unit was clean and spacious and included Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrellas for the beach. We would stay here again if it is available! Walking distance to Duke’s and even Whaler’s Village if you’re willing to go 2 miles, which we did daily. Gregory R

The setting was magical and super convenient. This is the first time vacationing that I actually wanted to cry leaving because it was so wonderful and we have been all over the world.   • Apr 21, 2026 First Maui Snorkel Trip in a Long Time This property was really perfect for our family. Location could not be any better. The beach was so quiet and private that we almost felt like it was a resort. We were in Maui over 20 years ago and this place was just right for the 4 of us. There was a large master for my wife and I to stay in with a great view of the ocean. My son and his girlfriend stayed in the smaller master. We each had our own bathroom which worked out perfectly. The view overlooking the beach and ocean was just as in the pictures. It got hot after 1pm when the sun was coming in from the windows so we closed the curtains when we left in the morning. It was not a problem. We really enjoyed the beach chairs, beach umbrella, and cooler that were in the closet for us to use. It made it easy to bring some drinks onto the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates, smalll bowls and utensils. However, nothing in large, mixing bowls nor larger containers to mix a salad, or serving bowls. We had to improvise with what was there, but, overall, we made it work and had a great time. Warren T

Dec 20, 2023 Mahana 1119 We loved this condo. From the dining room and balcony you have a direct view of the ocean and reef below (this is a beachfront unit) and we saw sea turtles daily, plus seals and manta rays at times as well. Whales could occasionally be seen though pretty far away. The unit was clean and spacious and included Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrellas for the beach. We would stay here again if it is available! Walking distance to Duke’s and even Whaler’s Village if you’re willing to go 2 miles, which we did daily. Gregory R

Apr 21, 2026 Beautiful unit and convenient location The view was fantastic. We saw a school of dolphins and sea turtles that swims up to the beach each evening. Everything was within 10-15 min away. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Definitely will come back again. Daisy H

Apr 21, 2026 Amazing Maui Experience This is great property and I highly recommend it for a family vacation. A/C is out in the building until the end of July, and there is some roof work done as well, so if you plan on staying inside the unit during the day, this might not be the best option for you until all the work is done. We were well aware of these items as the property management was very proactive about letting us know. We were fine with it as we’ve spent majority of the day exploring the island or hanging out by the beach. Units has amazing view and is well stocked with all necessities. Also, we can’t say enough good things about management, their communication, responsiveness, etc. Their work ethic has helped creating amazing Maui experience. Mahalo for that! Michal W
Apr 21, 2026 5 Star Views and Location We have stayed at the Aston Mahana 10 or so times and this was by far the best unit. The large 2 bedroom corner unit had sweeping views of the ocean, reef full of turtles, whales in the distance, mountains, Molokai, Lanai, and Black Rock. Dukes Beach House and the Kaanapali boardwalk were also right there. This was the perfect spot for my family since we have a 2 year old and we could enjoy the views while he took naps. The place was also nicely furnished and the concierge team was very responsive. We will be back again! Jeff H

I don’t think it could have been any better. From the amazing views, to the duel head shower to the snorkeling steps from the building, everything was great. Even when we had a little hiccup with a cooler not being available, the management staff got us a new one right away. This place hit everything our family of 4 needed for a great vacation in Maui. This was the most beautiful view of all (although all the views are wonderful). It’s not only a corner unit, but a corner looking down kaanapali beach, which made it perfect. The management company did a great job and made the whole process wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was very clean, as well as simply beautiful. The only two minor suggestions I have are minimal: usually such a beautiful condo with this view has binoculars. I wish they had some in this unit because the whales and turtles were very active. Secondly, it would have been wonderful to have a few spices in the kitchen. Both issues were pretty insignificant. These aren’t complaints, just suggestions. This condo is perfect and will be a joy for anyone who’s thinking of renting! We loved every minute and it was so hard to leave! Darci C

Apr 21, 2026 Absolutely amazing! We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was completely perfect. The view was incredible. The snorkeling right from this beach was the best! The setting was magical and super convenient. This is the first time vacationing that I actually wanted to cry leaving because it was so wonderful and we have been all over the world. Apr 21, 2026 First Maui Snorkel Trip in a Long Time This property was really perfect for our family. Location could not be any better. The beach was so quiet and private that we almost felt like it was a resort. We were in Maui over 20 years ago and this place was just right for the 4 of us. There was a large master for my wife and I to stay in with a great view of the ocean. My son and his girlfriend stayed in the smaller master. We each had our own bathroom which worked out perfectly. The view overlooking the beach and ocean was just as in the pictures. It got hot after 1pm when the sun was coming in from the windows so we closed the curtains when we left in the morning. It was not a problem. We really enjoyed the beach chairs, beach umbrella, and cooler that were in the closet for us to use. It made it easy to bring some drinks onto the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates, smalll bowls and utensils. However, nothing in large, mixing bowls nor larger containers to mix a salad, or serving bowls. We had to improvise with what was there, but, overall, we made it work and had a great time. Warren T
