Really appreciated that they provided dish soap, paper towels, plenty of toilet paper and all of those necessities that many other homes don't provide. Loved all the outdoor spaces off each room and the gardens were very pretty. Conveniently located and only a few minutes drive to Ali'i Road, the heart of Kona or to the Hawaii Belt Road for drives to other parts of the island. The only complaint would be that service people (pest control, gardeners and pool service) just showed up and surprised us by suddenly appearing in the back yard. A heads up on when to expect would have been nice. But these were very minor inconveniences. Linda M

The house is very spacious, located in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood a few minutes drive from everything around Kona, including supermarkets, wonderful beaches and the airport. The pool with ocean views was just fantastic to enjoy at any time of the day. We enjoyed many lunches, dinners and coffees on the covered lanai. All rooms fully functional including a great air conditioning system, ample parking just in front of the house. This is a gem to create fabulous memories during your stay in Kona - warmly recommend! We can watch the whales with our binoculars from the lanai. The pool is immaculate and so refreshing. The view is amazing. Access to the outdoors from every room. Very comfortable furniture. The kids had a fantastic time in the pool, which came with plenty of fun equipment. The view was breathtaking, and the rooms were spacious and filled with natural light. The kitchen and patio was excellent, allowing us to enjoy lovely breakfasts and dinners while watching stunning sunsets. We will definitely be booking this beautiful house again! Malik N

  • Nov 06, 2024 When I booked this location, there were no reviews for the property. This was a little concerning to me, but I pulled the trigger anyway, and I'm glad I did! The set up of the house is excellent with split level bedrooms (primary suite upstairs, two bedrooms downstairs) and the main floor completely open to views of the pool, ocean and sunset. The place was well-appointed with both a coffee pot and Keurig, as well as a grill and utensils. The shed had a variety of floaties for the pool. Also, the summary said we'd probably want a car, but unless you are planning to venture around the island, you don't really need one. We went in to town a couple of times, and a ROUND TRIP Uber was cheaper than parking for two hours. There's a corner store at the main road a couple blocks away and a Safeway and Walmart 2.5 miles away. I would book this place again! Jodell M
