  • Apr 01, 2024 Annually, we have spent months in the Coconut Plantation going back about 9 years. We keep a storage unit in Kapolei for our stuff, including our bikes, beach chairs, preferred appliances, cooking utensils, printer, etc. This year we downsized the storage unit. This property was so well appointed we needed less of our stuff, and we contracted to return next year for the same period. We plan to continue that pattern. Everything in the unit works well, appliances, internet, etc. Frankly, during the day, we spent a lot of time on the lanai where the furniture was very comfortable and the tropical Tradewinds gorgeous. The area around the unit is quiet and the residents pleasant. In fact, on Mother’s Day one of the resident families brought my wife a handful of yellow and red variegated roses and a Mother’s Day card the children prepared. Boom. Mic drop. We’re a couple in our mid-70s. The community’s location near Kapolei, with Costco, Walmart, Target, Office Depot, Ross and TJs, is perfect for a place you’re living a month or longer. The community offers a plethora of fitness classes with supportive instructors, including Hula, various Yoga practices, tennis, Pickleball, aerobics with hand weights, etc. Before we arrived, the rental agency provided a caution on the size of vehicles that could be accommodated. The caution was overly broad. We rented a mid-sized SUV, 2024 Nissan Rouge. It worked well with room to spare. Gale Perryman

NOTE:
• Electricity Usage $300/month Cap - Guest is responsible for usage in excess of $300.
• Coconut Plantation does not allow overnight parking of Commercially Registered Vehicles.
• Coconut Plantation no longer allows any grill on the lanai's per the Oahu Fire Code.
• Per Oahu Ordinance, this home has a minimum 29-night rental period. (The nightly rental rate advertised would be multiplied by the number of nights rented; with a minimum of 29 nights).

1 assigned parking space is provided for standard or compact vehicles only. Oversized vehicles and large SUVs may not be accommodated. Public or street parking is not available within this community. Additionally, the property owner's vehicle is parked in the garage. However, driveway parking is allowed for 1 vehicle. If you arrive with a vehicle that does not fit in the assigned space, you may be turned away and unable to check in.

Ola No Smoking Clause for all Residential Vacation Rentals: Smoking is strictly prohibited within the premises of the vacation rental property. This includes, but is not limited to, the interior of the accommodation, balconies, patios, and any common areas within the property. The policy extends to the use of cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes, marijuana and any other form of smoking or vaping.

Guests are required to respect this no-smoking policy to maintain a healthy and comfortable environment for all occupants and neighbors. Any violation of this policy will result in a penalty, and the cost of any necessary cleaning, deodorizing, or damage repair will be charged to the guest.

It is the responsibility of the guest to inform all members of their party and any visitors about the no-smoking policy. Failure to comply with this policy may lead to eviction from the property without refund.

The property owner/manager reserves the right to enforce this policy and take appropriate action against any guest or visitor found smoking on the premises.

By booking and accepting these terms and conditions, the guest acknowledges and agrees to abide by the no-smoking policy outlined above.

Important Notice: Asphalt Repair and Seal Coating Project

The Asphalt Roadway and Driveway Seal Coat Project will take place from April 2 to July 10, 2025. During this time, asphalt repairs, reconstruction, and seal coating will be conducted in phases, which may impact parking and vehicle access.

- Repairs & Reconstruction: April 2 – April 8, 2025
- Seal Coating: May 19 – July 10, 2025 (in 8 phases)
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Temporary Parking: Available in designated areas (refer to posted notices)
- Vehicle Removal: Must be moved by 7:00 AM on scheduled workdays to avoid towing at the owner’s expense

Noise, dust, and temporary access restrictions may occur. Mail and non-essential deliveries may be delayed on affected dates. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this essential maintenance project.
