  • Oct 24, 2024 The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our week long vacation in Kauai. The bed was comfortable and the linens were perfect. The kitchen included everything you would need for simple breakfasts or making complete meals. The bathroom was clean and had a beautiful walk in tiled shower. The location was centrally located for visiting the beautiful Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Parks on the West coast and the beaches on the East and North Shore. The host provides beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler for our use which was perfect for our regular day trips. Poipu is the perfect town for great restaurants, all very close to the Condo, some within easy walking distance. The home was very comfortable for relaxing in the evening after long days hiking or swimming and snorkeling. I would definitely recommend staying in a this condo. Susan M

  • Aug 23, 2024 These are great hosts. Very responsive and customer focused. We had an issue (not the host's problem) where our last day was "interrupted" by the complex deciding to cut down a tree right outside our unit and next to the bedroom. Between the chainsaw and Sawzall the noise was deafening. We asked the workers if they could do something else but finally vacated when they said no and told us they would be back at 7 the following morning. Upon reporting this to the hosts, they graciously refunded us the final day's stay. The unit is terrific and nicely updated. It's convenient to everything and the complex (sans plumbing/construction) is one of the nicest IOHO on the island. The nice treats left for us (candy and a nice BBQ sauce) were a nice surprise and reflects the attention of the hosts. Can not recommend more. One niggle: there is A/C in the bedroom, but not in the living areas and Poipu can get hot. If you are not one cooled by breezes, this could be a consideration. Five * for sure! James C

For a couple (or other) I would highly recommend the space as well as the host. BONUS: Their cleaning request was minimal compared to past experiences and with the simple layout it was a breeze.   • Feb 21, 2024 This is the second time we've stayed in this community. First time to this apartment. This apartment was absolutely lovely! It is truly a luxury remodeled apartment. They put a lot of effort in to make this place beautiful, wonderful decor, a nice library of books, welcome snacks and drinks package, bath robes, etc. It was pristinely cleaned and freshened upon our arrival. We didn't need it because we were here during winter months, but it was great that they had an air conditioner in the bedroom, you definately need this during the warmer months. The location of the unit is bordering another commmunity / parking lot next door, so I found the noise level to be higher than the other side of the community than we stayed at before. The pool area is beautiful and has some nice natural shade trees. I wish they had a hot tub in addition to the pool, because the pool was a little too cool to enjoy this time of year. Hal N

  • Jan 20, 2024 I read another post about this place which pointed out that it didn't have a view of the ocean, but that it was a great place. I agree, but I want to add, "Who cares?!" It looks every bit as good as the pics. It has an extremely well appointed kitchen. The complex is older, but meticulously maintained. It is in walking distance of Baby Beach and walking distance of a shopping area.It is also walking distance to the Beach House restaurant for special occasions. Plenty of resturants and clothing retailers, too. The beach is only a few minutes driving and totally walkwable, the unit is set up with everything you will need for a beach day including a wide selection of books. The unit itself has a lot of windows perfectly set up for the BEST breezes. Don't worry about only the bedroom having AC- you will not miss it at all in the rest of the house. Die Unterkunft war toll ausgestattet, in der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man sich vorstellen kann, ausserdem gibt es alles, was man für einen Tag am Strand braucht, was sehr praktisch und toll ist. In einer Mappe sind alle benötigten Informationen enthalten, ausserdem tolle Empfehlungen für Restaurants. Das Bett war uns persönlich etwas zu klein, aber das ist definitiv persönlicher Gusto.   • Sep 15, 2023 It doesn’t have an ocean view, I’ll get that part out of the way. But with the value we got for such a nice, clean unit in a nice little complex we couldn’t really expect a view too. It was easily walkable to the shops down the street, as well as the beach parks. We walked most places unless we were leaving Poipu. The unit was clean and spacious. The bathroom and kitchen were beautiful and spotless, and the host provided some really great locally made soaps and shampoos (we actually found the shop right down the street and bought some for ourselves). Overall we really appreciated having this spot to retire to every night. The host was always responsive and proactive with the check-in and check-out information. We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a more quiet, spacious spot as a home base in Poipu! David M

It's located perfectly between many of the islands attractions without much driving to. There are great restaurants and shops walking distance. Inside the unit is very modern with great amenities for daily living, entertainment and travel. The people working in the complex were very kind and helpful. There is much more to be said about this place but the best thing I can say is, I would definitely re-book this exact location when I come back to Kauai. Upon reporting this to the hosts, they graciously refunded us the final day's stay. The unit is terrific and nicely updated. It's convenient to everything and the complex (sans plumbing/construction) is one of the nicest IOHO on the island. The nice treats left for us (candy and a nice BBQ sauce) were a nice surprise and reflects the attention of the hosts. Can not recommend more. One niggle: there is A/C in the bedroom, but not in the living areas and Poipu can get hot. If you are not one cooled by breezes, this could be a consideration. Five * for sure! James C

The extra touches and complimentary items were thoughtful and truly made a positive impact. 10/10 would recommend . The location was super close to beautiful beaches and convenient shopping. Lots of nice little touches like beach gear, band aids, laundry soap….very walkable to the shops, sunset at the point, most accessible beach is past the Sheraton on the dead end road. We parked STEPs from the sand. Glad for the air in the bedroom. Didn’t need it in the main area with two patio doors open. Both patios awesome. Had the pool to ourselves most of the time. May 16, 2024 The space, “Gather”; in particular Bryan was very accommodating and proactive. Good communication as well as instructional information provided was top notch. For a couple (or other) I would highly recommend the space as well as the host. BONUS: Their cleaning request was minimal compared to past experiences and with the simple layout it was a breeze. Feb 21, 2024 This is the second time we've stayed in this community. First time to this apartment. This apartment was absolutely lovely! It is truly a luxury remodeled apartment. They put a lot of effort in to make this place beautiful, wonderful decor, a nice library of books, welcome snacks and drinks package, bath robes, etc. It was pristinely cleaned and freshened upon our arrival. We didn't need it because we were here during winter months, but it was great that they had an air conditioner in the bedroom, you definately need this during the warmer months. The location of the unit is bordering another commmunity / parking lot next door, so I found the noise level to be higher than the other side of the community than we stayed at before. The pool area is beautiful and has some nice natural shade trees. I wish they had a hot tub in addition to the pool, because the pool was a little too cool to enjoy this time of year. Hal N

Opening the windows allowed for a nice breeze to go through, which we loved. The gardens are gorgeous and well maintained. It is right across from an upscale shopping center with restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. You can walk 5 minutes down the road to go snorkeling (we saw lots of turtles!). Poipu beach is a 3 minute drive, as well as old town Koloa. The hosts are very responsive and thought of everything to make our stay so memorable. Thank you!! Ross A

Jan 20, 2024 I read another post about this place which pointed out that it didn't have a view of the ocean, but that it was a great place. I agree, but I want to add, "Who cares?!" It looks every bit as good as the pics. It has an extremely well appointed kitchen. The complex is older, but meticulously maintained. It is in walking distance of Baby Beach and walking distance of a shopping area.It is also walking distance to the Beach House restaurant for special occasions. We hated to leave and want to come back. Carl G

The kitchen has all necessary utensils and everything is well maintained. The host is very friendly and responsive and was able to accommodate us with an extended checkout due to our late flight. Plenty of resturants and clothing retailers, too. The beach is only a few minutes driving and totally walkwable, the unit is set up with everything you will need for a beach day including a wide selection of books. The unit itself has a lot of windows perfectly set up for the BEST breezes. Don't worry about only the bedroom having AC- you will not miss it at all in the rest of the house. I can't say enough good things about our time here. We are already planning a return trip! Tiffany W

Die Unterkunft war toll ausgestattet, in der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man sich vorstellen kann, ausserdem gibt es alles, was man für einen Tag am Strand braucht, was sehr praktisch und toll ist. In einer Mappe sind alle benötigten Informationen enthalten, ausserdem tolle Empfehlungen für Restaurants. Das Bett war uns persönlich etwas zu klein, aber das ist definitiv persönlicher Gusto. Sep 15, 2023 It doesn’t have an ocean view, I’ll get that part out of the way. But with the value we got for such a nice, clean unit in a nice little complex we couldn’t really expect a view too. It was easily walkable to the shops down the street, as well as the beach parks. We walked most places unless we were leaving Poipu. The unit was clean and spacious. The bathroom and kitchen were beautiful and spotless, and the host provided some really great locally made soaps and shampoos (we actually found the shop right down the street and bought some for ourselves). Overall we really appreciated having this spot to retire to every night. The host was always responsive and proactive with the check-in and check-out information. We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a more quiet, spacious spot as a home base in Poipu! David M

It's located perfectly between many of the islands attractions without much driving to. There are great restaurants and shops walking distance. Inside the unit is very modern with great amenities for daily living, entertainment and travel. The people working in the complex were very kind and helpful. There is much more to be said about this place but the best thing I can say is, I would definitely re-book this exact location when I come back to Kauai. I extremely recommend you stay at this location. Jason R

Aug 24, 2023 The only thing that could have made my stay better was air conditioning. It is humid in Kauai and warm at this time of year. The space air conditioner in the bedroom was better than no air conditioner, but full air conditioning would make this a perfect space! Laurie D
