  • Mar 16, 2013 Spa-like slice of heaven in La Jolla This house, it's view from perched on a hill and proximity to downtown La Jolla and the beach is amazing in every way. Every detail of the house permeates with that easy sort of California style luxury. Wake up to a full view of the Pacific from the entire side of the home. You can actually open up the entire side of the house to the pool and jacuzzi that sits on a hill overlooking La Jolla shores. I love to cook and the kitchen is a dream, with every type of amenity you can imagine, and open to the living room, dining, and fireplace. I came with my family, and we could be down at the beach in about seven minutes to the surf school, restaurants or just hang out at the house in the spa bathtub which also has a view of the ocean. Downtown La Jolla with great shopping, yoga, and art is right down the road less than ten minutes. I cannot wait until my next visit. Charlotte

This stunning single-story luxury rental home boasts four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, offering panoramic views of coastal La Jolla Shores. Located on a quiet cul de sac in a safe neighborhood, this home is just three minutes away from the beach or seconds from your own saltwater lap pool and spa on the patio.

The great room is the centerpiece of this inviting home, featuring retractable walls that lead onto the rear patio from the living, dining, and kitchen areas. The living room boasts a fireplace, large television with a Blu-ray player, DVR, Apple TV, in-ceiling speakers, a comfortable sectional, and a vintage 1849 Bosendorfer piano. The dining area leads to the professionally equipped kitchen, fully stocked with crystal, China, and every necessary appliance, including a wine refrigerator, six-burner gas stove, double ovens, and a large island that seats four. A La Cantina folding window opens from the main sink to the patio BBQ area.

The home office with a library, a computer with internet access, and an all-in-one printer/e-fax is just off the great room. The home also has a large laundry room with a pull-out ironing board and a wash sink, a large private 1/2 bathroom off the kitchen, and a separate full bathroom accessible from the pool and BBQ area. The home gym with ocean views features a padded floor, Universal Gym, lifecycle exercise bike, elliptical machine, free weights, incline and standard benches, and exercise videos.

The bedrooms sleep up to eight, with a king and queen suite and a queen and full bedroom sharing a bath. The primary suite boasts ocean views, a high ceiling, a fireplace, a television with Blu-ray and surround sound, pool patio access, and a sitting area. The attached ensuite bath has a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower with multiple heads, double sinks, and a built-in sound system. The second suite is similarly equipped with a jetted tub and shower combo. Both remaining bedrooms feature garden views and share a Jack and Jill bath.

The patio features a saltwater pool, hot tub, and outdoor BBQ area, making it the perfect place to spend long evenings in La Jolla's perfect climate and take in the spectacular panoramic coastal view. La Jolla Shores delights with boutique shopping, unique dining, as well as other local attractions like Torrey Pines Golf Course, the Aquarium, San Diego Zoo, and Sea World. Pool heating available at an additional fee, please inquire.

This property is intended for use by responsible adults and their families. There is a zero tolerance policy for parties, excessive noise and events. This home is equipped with noise monitoring systems and the noise ordinance will be strictly enforced.
No outside noise after 10pm, otherwise the police will be called and the violation will result in immediate eviction and $1,000.00 fine.

Please be aware every reservation check in must be met in person with a greeter from the property management company, self-check ins are not allowed. Our cut off for arrivals to check in is 8:00 p.m. after which a greeter will be available to meet at the property for access starting at 8:00 a.m. the following day. ID verification showing that the person checking in is the same as the credit card used on the reservation is mandatory. Failure to provide ID verification as requested will result in the cancellation of the reservation.
