  • Nov 15, 2023 The Hale Poola house was perfect for me and my family. Our group of 9 felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Not only was the kitchen well stocked with all the cooking utensils and dishware we could need, we were pleasantly surprised they provided a large rice cooker. We cooked and grilled often. We had more than enough beach towels and multiple beach chairs provided. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and walkable. And you can actually see the ocean from the large living room windows and kitchen. There’s only one bedroom without an AC unit but there were a couple of standing fans available and the house stayed fairly cool. The large driveway fit 3 cars (van, SUV, and sedan) and the garage was also available to use. The Gather/Elite reps were very nice, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. We were so happy and thankful for this wonderful stay. Jessica De Jesus

The house is arranged with two groups of bedrooms with bathrooms in the middle of each group. Sound did not carry from the common area to the bedrooms. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and serving snd is sufficiently large to accommodate several cooks snd standers-by at once. All in all, great place snd we would be happy to stay there again. Not chesp, but nothing in Hawai’i is! J P

This property is offered as a monthly rental. Although full-month occupancy is not required, the monthly rate remains fixed and applies in full, regardless of the number of nights stayed, as prorated rates are not available.

This five-bedroom, three-bathroom home sits in the wonderful quiet neighborhood of Aina Haina. The home offers the perfect retreat for families hoping to avoid the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, yet remain close to all the attractions of south Oahu.

Unassuming, Private Tranquility

Hale Poola’s open floor plan provides an ideal setting for spending family time together. Guests will particularly enjoy gathering in the large living room, which has a vaulted ceilings and plenty of seating options. A bonus living room also includes an office space.

Prepare lunch on the gas grill and feel the trade winds blow as you sit under the umbrella at the outdoor dining table. A lovely garden awaits just beyond the lanai. In the garage, you’ll find a convenient laundry area and all the beach chairs and toys you’ll need for daytime excursions.

Hawaiian Style Outdoor Lanai

Conveniently located, Hale Poola allows quick access to destinations such as renowned Hanauma Bay, the endless dining and shopping options of Waikiki, and world-class golf. Wailupe Beach is just a five-minute walk away. Less than a five-minute drive takes you to Oahu’s other scenic south shore beaches, famous for their white sands and great surf.

Standard occupancy for this rental is 10 guests. There will be an extra fee for additional guests over the standard occupancy up to a max of 12 with prior approval.
