• Mar 05, 2026 Besides being an ideal location to explore all the North Shore had to offer…beautiful beaches, shopping, a huge selection of restaurants and eateries, hiking and other recreational opportunities—this was also a wonderful place to just sit and relax. Enjoy the sound of the ocean right outside our windows, watch the waves from the lanai, take in splendid sunrises and sunsets. Although this is an older facility, the newly renovated unit was, for the most part, beautifully done. The loft bathroom could have used a bit more attention to detail ( a towel hook came loose by the toilet and the bathtub faucet finish was peeling off, plus door hinge pins weren’t hammered all the way down). But the kitchen was well equipped and had GREAT knives!!Would definitely rebook! Show more Show less Lynne J

• Feb 17, 2026 The 2 bedroom apt was great. Very well appointed such as sharp knives, dishtowels and large bottles of soap and shampoo. The dishes were extensive with larger bowl for salad etc. The bed was very comfortable and all linens were cotton. Parking was plentiful and easy. • Dec 23, 2025 We had a great stay! We had a great stay! Wake up to ocean waves and go to sleep to ocean waves! Fantastic communication and customer service! We did have the door/no door debate while watching whales from the deck. We came to the conclusion it would kill the views and impede on cooling the condo since no air. The lack of air conditioning never seemed to be a problem. A decent grocery store is very close. The beach walk is a bit of a challenge but absolutely doable! I loved the washer/dryer!! Could use some new pans as everything stuck to them but that was our only frustration…mostly resorted to grilling…problem solved! Comfy beds and nice bedding. Plenty of towels. Laundry soap was provided but I had brought my own. Advice: 4 beach chairs would have been nice, we had 2. 2 boogie boards as opposed to one. Road side fruit is insane! 18 for a pineapple!!!Get to the bay early!!! Nothing opens early like coffee shops…For sure do the helicopter tourWalk to Breezy’s coffee stand, watch more whales! Any questions I had were answered quickly, and they went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable. The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-maintained. What really stood out was the host’s kindness and attention to detail. They provided helpful local recommendations and even checked in to make sure everything was going well during my stay, without being intrusive. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely caring and responsive. I truly appreciated their warmth and hospitality, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. • Jan 19, 2025 Sealodge J8 was an amazing updated condo with amazing views of the ocean. All the rooms had views and sleeping and waking up to the sound of the waves was so peaceful. Well worth the cost. The beach chairs, umbrella, and other beach amenities were very handy when visiting several beaches. Great proximity to Hanalei shops, restaurants and beaches, as well as other Princeville restaurants. Although it was a 1.5 hour drive to the south side of the island, Waimea Canyon, and NaPali Experience catamaran morning magic boat tours, it ended up being a great way to see the entire island of Kauai. I highly recommend at least 3-nights/4-days. The condo was very clean and the host was very friendly and responsive when we had questions and communicating details related to our trip. • Mar 11, 2024 This is a lovely place overlooking the pristine Princeville beach. Super clean and well maintained. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked for preparation of simple every day meals. There is a short downhill hike then scramble over some rocks to get to a small very quiet and beautiful sandy beach. Before leaving my kids made me swear that we could come back. • Jan 26, 2024 This was a wonderful stay at Sealodge. Easy check- in and responsive host. Perfect location, close to everything needed for an easy no hassle vacation. Watch the stars on the lodge lawn at night and wake up to whale watching from your bedroom window! Hike down to the private beach and take a short car trip to Hanalei for a meal and shave ice. • Mar 24, 2023 First impressions are everything. You open the door and the layout of the condo maximizes the panoramic ocean view from every room. At the golden hour, when the ocean glistens and the shore break illuminates, whales play and breach offshore. Storm clouds roll in with spectacular lightning. This condo is updated in all the best ways. Bed is firmly comfortable and adjustable. (Note, pillows were on the overstuffed side.) Best of all, the sheets, pillowcases, and towels are new and crisp, and the quilted-cotton bed-cover was just the right weight if it got cool. (Ask the delightful property manager Sophia for the "shower trick.") The appliances are all brand-new. The kitchen is compact but there's a big fridge and a good electric stovetop. The washer-dryer is so quiet you’d hardly know it’s running. The condo was spotless upon our arrival, and decorated with a beach-chic aesthetic. Communication with property management company was fantastic leading up to and during our stay. Parking is easy. There’s a private beach that requires some hiking skills but is worth it. The complex’s swimming pool was under repair; you might want to check, if that’s an important amenity. The unit does not have air conditioning. When we were becalmed by a break in the trade winds, Sophia was awesome in delivering a second oscillating fan to keep things sufficiently cool. Well-fit screens keep the muzzies out. • Feb 06, 2023 We really liked our stay at Sealodge. It was quiet and peaceful. Every room had an ocean view and you could hear the endless ocean waves from the balcony and rooms with the windows open. It was close to shops and restaurants. There is a great private beach with snorkeling access if your up for a little hike but wear good shoes it can get a little slippery if it rains. The place was modernly updated and had a fully stocked kitchen with great amenities. One of the best sunrises we had on the island was here at Sealodge. Show more Show less Ashley N
