Designed by acclaimed architect Lucky Bennett and furnished by Peggy Chestnut, the luxurious design of this western Big Island property showcases traditional Polynesian decorative features for a beautiful and tranquil atmosphere. From the lushly landscaped courtyard & garden areas surrounding a heated private pool and spa, to the expertly furnished interior upper & lower levels, this unique property provides all of the luxury amenities needed for an incredibly peaceful and private Hawaiian getaway.

The home’s second level is where the Great room, Primary suite (master bedroom), and kitchen can be found. Enjoy the spaciousness of the Great room with elegant vaulted ceilings, island-style wooden furnishings along with a 6-person custom-made surfboard dining table. Adjacent to the dining area is a comfortable entertainment space fit with ample seating options and a large television. There is the option to open up this central room to the large outdoor covered lanai for ample airflow as this space is not equipped with air conditioning. This lanai is complete with comfortable seating accommodations with views over the expansive pool, cascading waterfall, and manicured garden space. The kitchen boasts all stainless-steel appliances as well as fine granite countertops and a 5-seater high-top island bar.

All bedrooms offer air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan for optimal temperature control. The Primary suite is outfitted with a plush King-sized bed, partial ocean views, garden views, and tropical luxury furnishings. The attached primary ensuite has marble-topped dual vanities with a tiled walk-in shower and a relaxing soaking tub adorned with bamboo walls. Two guest rooms are located on the house’s lower level. Guest bedroom 1 contains a King-sized bed, lounge seating options, garden views, and access to the courtyard. The attached ensuite includes a double vanity and walk-in shower. Guest bedroom 2 comes with 2 Queen-sized beds, garden views, and access to an outdoor deck, with a double vanity and bathtub/shower combination just outside of the bedroom.

The home’s lower level also accommodates a grand entertainment area equipped with central air conditioning with the option to open up to the courtyard, complete with a second flat-screen television with a comfy seating area, a billiards table, a second wet bar with high-top seating as well as a 6-person dining table. There is also an in-unit washer and dryer for guests’ convenience.

Step outside to the courtyard, garden & pool areas for a truly serene relaxation experience. There is a large pool equipped with a waterfall fixture and several seating options for lounging in the sun poolside. Above the pool is the warm spa pool, which is the perfect locale to watch the fiery hues of sunset in the evenings. ***Please note that the neighboring home, which is approximately 300ft away, is being constructed. This process officially started as of May 2023 and will take approximately 18 months to execute. There will be no construction taking place during certain holidays and the Festive Period, as further detailed below. There will be certain times where little to no impact will come of the construction as there are portions of the building process that create minimal disturbances, however we cannot guarantee that. The association does not permit work to occur on Sundays and they have limited work hours on Saturdays which only allow for "quiet work". Monday through Friday work hours are 7:30am to 5pm. 2024 Federal Holidays and Festive Period where construction is not permitted: January 1 (New Year's Day), January 15 (MLK, Jr. Day), February 19 (President's Day), May 27 (Memorial Day), July 4 (Independence Day), September 2 (Labor Day), and November 28 & 29 (Thanksgiving). The Festive Season for the 2024 calendar year is from Saturday December 21, 2024 through Wednesday January 1, 2025, with construction activities resuming Thursday, January 2, 2025.
