The bedrooms were private and the common rooms were large enough to accommodate the whole group comfortably. The house manager was very friendly and accommodating and it was interesting to hear about all the celebrities who have stayed there and all the movies filmed there.   • Oct 28, 2016 A Royal Experience! This home feels like your own private resort.... It is also in my favorite location on Oahu. The neighborhood is prestigious and exudes an air of old Hawaii luxury living. You can drive 15 minutes to Waikiki or 5 minutes to Kahala Mall or Kahala Hotel. I love that I am close to everything, yet away from it all so I can relax and unwind without all the hustle and bustle. The property is very secure, private and gated and the caretaker Kino is AWESOME! He treats you like royalty and is very helpful with all your needs! This is a 5 star retreat and one of my #1 vacation properties! Mark G

This property is offered as a monthly rental. Although full-month occupancy is not required, the monthly rate remains fixed and applies in full, regardless of the number of nights stayed, as prorated rates are not available.

Banyan House is Oahu’s most luxurious vacation rental near the foot of Diamond Head. The exquisite home features seven bedrooms, eight full baths, and a half-bath, encompassing 14,000 square feet all within a private beachfront estate. This stylish and exclusive vacation home is Hawaii life at its finest.

Enter through the grand room featuring open beam ceilings and a view of turquoise waters. Two wings extend, one with the gourmet kitchen and game room. The other wing boasts an oversized family room, home gym, office, and a guest room with wet bar and en suite bathroom.

Each wing has a second floor boasting three additional guestrooms. The primary bedroom is spectacular with sliding walls retracting to blend indoor and outdoor living. Fall asleep in your private retreat listening to the sounds of the ocean waves just steps away. The other side of the home boasts an ocean view guestroom and garden view guestroom each with en suites. The ocean view guestroom features a lanai that looks out to the blue Pacific.

A large and distinguishing gate opens to a dramatic round-about driveway circling a full-grown historic banyan tree. A Balinese-style gate opens to a foyer filled with lush tropical ferns. Floating steps lead through the foyer, over the pond and to the entrance where the grand room awaits.

The back yard is enchanting with a shimmering modern-style pool and manicured yard edged with native plants. The beachfront lawn is steps to the crystal clear ocean. A/C Notes: This property has Central A/C throughout. Guests are asked to keep doors and windows shut while A/C is running.

For any occupancy that is 21-30 days or longer, a utility fee or utility deposit will be charged to the Guest.

Pool Heat is optional and can be added to your reservation with an additional charge of $250 + GE Tax per day.

Oct 14, 2018 Wow! Everything about this home exceeded expectations, from the entrance to the architecture to the furnishings to the ocean views. The bedrooms were private and the common rooms were large enough to accommodate the whole group comfortably. Oct 28, 2016 A Royal Experience! This home feels like your own private resort.... It is also in my favorite location on Oahu. The neighborhood is prestigious and exudes an air of old Hawaii luxury living. You can drive 15 minutes to Waikiki or 5 minutes to Kahala Mall or Kahala Hotel.
