Apr 23, 2024 Our stay was so great! The home was perfect. The size of the home fit our family comfortably. It was located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood where our family felt right at home. The view was amazing…watching the sunsets each night was magical. We had so much fun in the pool and watching the golfers play through the day. Some of our family members enjoyed a round of golf on the course and had a blast! I would highly recommend this hike to anyone looking to vacation with family or even a small group or couple! Overall very nice home, clean, well stocked with what we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The view out off of the back porch was simply amazing…..sunsets were extraordinary. Good place to stay if visiting the kona side of the island. We had to stay at 2 properties due to our length of stay and gather was great to work with at both properties. Gary Smith

Jul 21, 2023 We had a wonderful stay at Big Island in this home! The home was perfect for our stay. Great location with great views of the ocean and majestic sunsets. This home is beautiful! It's very clean, spacious and super comfortable for our family. The owner/host thought of everything needed for our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the kitchen utensils that you could need. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds and extra sheets and blankets. They provided plenty of towels for us to use and also provided beach towels. There were also beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella. The pool was so fun for the kids! And, the lanai was perfect for watching the kids swim and waiting for the sunset. It was the perfect home for us while exploring the Big Island! And, the host was awesome! They were very responsive to any needs that we had. We had a small issue, but they responded in a very timely manner and were great to work with. Mahalo for sharing your home with us! Jeff McKee

Feb 26, 2023 We enjoyed a memorable family vacation at this beautiful home tucked away in a secluded quiet community on the Kona Country Club golf course. The unobstructed ocean views are unparalleled. We will treasure the memories of the brilliant sunsets that we enjoyed while luxuriating in the pool and the brilliant starry nights seen from the hot tub. The home is very spacious, clean and comes equipped with many extra amenities including beach chairs and picnic coolers. Our hosts were very responsive to our communications and ensured our stay was seamless. They were kind enough to allow for a late checkout. This Big Island vacation home is adjacent to the 2nd hole green on the lush Kona Country Club’s Makai Golf Course, making it the ideal location for any golf enthusiast. In the mornings, you can enjoy views of early morning tee times and the sparkling Pacific from your oversized, covered lanai. In the evenings, you can squeeze in a relaxing dip in your infinity edge, in-ground swimming pool, and spa before a nightcap with your guests. Imagine the evenings you’ll spend here where it’s just you and your loved ones with nothing to do but enjoy one another's company and breathe in the salty, tropical air.
The amenities inside Holua Kai #26 are just as impressive as the ones outside the home. The spacious kitchen island includes custom Bordeaux Dream Granite slab countertops and glass backsplash, a GE Pro stainless steel appliance package, under-cabinet LED lighting, and solid wood cabinetry with soft-close drawers and doors. There’s also a wine fridge perfect for those evenings when you’re looking to wind down in your evenings with a crisp glass of chilled Chardonnay.
This luxury vacation rental is able to accommodate up to 10 guests with additional sleeping spaces located in the home office and upstairs living area. The Primary Suite comes complete with a large, free-standing soaking tub, walk-in shower, split vanities all accented by solid granite countertops, and its own private lanai. With carefully selected furnishings and touches from a professional decorator, you’ll find that Holua Kai #26 will have everything you might need to make this space feel like your Hawaiian home away from home.
Please note that 7 private tennis and 20 pickleball courts are available for guest use for an additional fee. Of those facilities, 5 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts have lights. Court Rentals are $25/hour per court for non-members. If you'd like to become a member of the Holua Kai community, the court rental fee will be waived. To book a private tennis or pickleball court, guests may call or text Holua Kai's shop phone, and let them know of the day and time you are planning to play. A member of Holua Kai's community team will let you know which court(s) are available.
Drop-in, Open Pickleball Play Schedule @ Holua Racquet and Paddle: Every drop-in play is open to members and non-members alike. Non-members pay $10/person for each open play they join. For example, if you play in the 8 AM open play and pay $10/person, an additional $10/person for the afternoon play will apply. However, the Holua Kai community offers weekly, monthly, and more membership rates. If interested, please contact Holua Kai's shop for applicable rates.
