Jun 01, 2024 This property was amazing. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. House was clean and well equipped. Loved the pool for evening swims and the deck for morning coffee. Bedrooms were just right for our family of 5. Highly recommend. Reanne Wolff

Sep 29, 2023 We were truly overwhelmed at the property.Bigger than we thought.The grounds were lush and well maintained.Extremely organized and well equipped. Peaceful,pool was great.We used the rafts ansd chairs at the beach.This was a maiden voyage for some of us. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. WE WILL BE BACK.Mahalo Karin Murray

Communication was always timely and we had a stellar experience from beginning to end. It’s also in one of the most beautiful places on earth. What more could you. Jul 24, 2023 The descriptions and pictures are accurate. We felt very welcomed by the host as the kids enjoyed local cookies and chocolate gifts discovered in the gorgeous kitchen on arrival, which was better stocked than our own. The beds a super comfortable. Everything was absolutely spotless. The extras in the near side of the garage are terrific, such as the beach chairs and bikes. We enjoyed several dinners on the front lanai and morning coffee by the pool. There are effective fans throughout with supplemental A/C as needed. Kauai of course is a garden of pleasures and we didn't lack for things to do, but we regularly anticipated returning to our oasis a relaxation! If ever we get the chance to return to Kauai there is only one place I will look to rent and it will be this very house! It is simply put a beautiful, relaxing place to be and we loved every minute. May 04, 2023 We absolutely loved our stay here. Spent many mornings eating breakfast on the lanai while our baby watched the birds. Hanalei is less than 10 min drive where you can find shops and restaurants. The home was quiet, beds were comfy, AC and fans kept it cool, kitchen was totally stocked with every appliance and kitchen tool you might need. Garage was also well equipped with beach supplies. Makana Lei's open, fully equipped kitchen has been appointed with high-quality appliances, fine modern finishes, and bar seating for relaxed meals at home. A dining area for six flows into an airy living space with inviting sofas and a huge television, and a separate bonus room has additional comfortable seating and another large flat-screen. The spacious primary suite features a king bed, high ceilings, its own television, lanai access, and a luxurious en suite bath with a dual-head walk-in shower and two sinks. A second lovely bedroom with a queen bed and lanai access shares a full bath with a bright and cheerful third bedroom equipped with bunk beds.
On the covered lanai off the living space at Makana Lei, guests will find a new barbecue grill, an al fresco dining area, and seating that welcomes you to unwind in your peaceful island surroundings. Enjoy sun or shade at the lap pool, with excellent privacy created by lush tropical plantings. Finish your day rinsing off in the heavenly outdoor shower.
This exceptional north shore Kauai vacation rental home provides easy access to picturesque beaches such as Hideaways and Puu Poa. A stroll or short drive leads to a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as a grocery store and other conveniences at the Princeville Center.
