  • Aug 04, 2024 We absolutely LOVED this Villa and everything about our 6 night stay! The pictures do not do the view justice, it is truly breathtaking! Well laid out and furnished home. Fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the short and scenic walk to the Mauna Kea Beach Club each morning and to the tennis center and played 2 rounds of golf at the Westin. Without a doubt, splurge on the amenity package! If this vila ever went up for sale we would buy it we loved it that much! Only recommendation would be to put fans or even better a portable AC unit in twin bed room. Otherwise, that’s it. Mahalo 🏄🌴❤️ Karen M
  • Jul 07, 2024 Paradise in Paradise! This home was absolutely wonderful! This was our first time on the big island and we were so happy we chose to stay here! It is about 30 minutes away from everything so be prepared for that. We hit Costco and the Grocery store after we landed and never needed anything else! You will drive to the beach, you can walk, there is a path but it’s steep, so just drive. We paid for the resort amenities and loved the beach access and gear that came with it. Going over to the Hapuna side of the resort was awesome, but we loved Mauna Kea beach, it wasn’t crowded at all due to the remodel. The snorkeling was awesome but there aren’t very many turtles but you will probably see Manta Rays. The restaurants we tried were ok but we found better food off property. We would 100% stay here again and if I won the lottery I would buy a place right here and never leave. Oh be prepared for the crazy number of light switches. MAHALO! Dan L

It can be a hot walk up the hill, but we enjoy that too. It comes with a parking pass if you don't want to walk. The views are spectacular with sunsets framed just right. Hope to come again! Alison M

It is also great having such easy access to the Mauna Kea resort (for an extra fee) - you get the best of both worlds with both resort amenities and the conveniences of staying in a condo. We used the resort beach facilities and fitness center frequently during our stay, and were especially impressed by the tennis center. The Mauna Kea Villas complex is beautiful. The decor in the unit itself is a bit dated, but the online pictures are very accurate so you know exactly what to expect. For our family, the size & location of this unit worked great. Ann M

The graceful layout of this unit and captured the unobstructed view of the Waikoloa coast line and pacific ocean is a memory that will not be forgotten. SO Peaceful and tranquil we felt by being here. It was a perfect place to unwind adjacent to a world class resort. Owner's vintage Hawaiian touches, artwork, high quality bedding, and kitchen amenities provided suited all of our needs and more. We hope to enjoy this unit in the near future and look forward to leisurely strolling through the gorgeous landscaped pathway downhill to Kaunaoa beach. Mahalo. Michelle W

  • May 26, 2023 Our family of 5 (kids are young adults) spent a week here - the home was spacious, well kept, and easy walking distance to the Mauna Kea Resort, its beach, gym, restaurants and golfing. Beautiful view of the ocean from the deck, sizable bedrooms with a well equipped kitchen. The use of a house for a larger family with the amenities of a resort (you do pay a $165/day resort fee - gym access, beach access, towel service at beach, snorkels and fins provided free of charge).
