  • Jan 08, 2024 Spacious, updated, tasteful and very clean condo in a smaller complex with lots of privacy and quiet neighbours. Swimming pools (2) were really clean and well maintained in a nice setting. Two lovely decks at the condo to sit on and enjoy the lush gardens and the ocean view. We saw humpback whales breaching one afternoon. It was great to park our car right at the front door of the condo. Nice location away from the busy tourist scene in Kona but very handy to supermarket and restaurants. Enjoyed walks around the local streets and to Keauhou Bay. The kitchen was very well equipped - new pans and dishes. The bath towels were thick and fluffy. Nice beach towels, chairs, boards, umbrella and snorkel gear for guests to use. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and wish it was longer than a week! Joanna Sofield

We discovered a walking shortcut through the pool area to get to the nearby mall for happy hour at Tropics. And the KTA supermarket had great stuff at reasonable prices. The pool is really great too. It feels so much bigger than a one bedroom, and the lanais (porches) were amazing with amazing views. It is centrally located, quiet, and more private than I expected in a condo enclave. The downstairs bedroom is large and airy. Our son stayed on the pull-out couch and thought it was totally comfortable. There are plenty of implements in the kitchen for cooking. Was everything in the photo's and more; Very clean, comfortable, cute, quiet, well stocked kitchen, great view with amazing sunsets. We were happy to find it had a cabinet full of everything you need to spend time at the ocean (snorkel gear, chairs, boogie, ..... ) and a nice pool that is close. It was the perfect location for us; it's on the edge of town so you are away from the main tourist craziness in a nice quiet neighborhood that is right next to Keauhou Bay; the Bay has very cool little public access that has a canoe club, volleyball court - very local feel and great place just to go chill. There is a big shopping center that is just a couple miles away groceries, restaurants,... When we had a question a very kind person answered our call and was very helpful. Exceeded our expectations; Perfect for a couple looking looking to have tropical quiet getaway. We are going back! Alton Handley

Say Aloha to this nicely appointed, private condo with ocean views of the Kona Coast, in the heart of Keauhou. Perfect for a small family or group of friends, this lovely vacation rental can accommodate up to four guests and is just steps from local beaches and attractions.

The bright, open floor plan at Keauhou Resort #113 includes an air conditioned living room with inviting seating options (one of which is a queen sleeper sofa) and a flat-screen television with a DVD player. Wireless internet is also provided for your entertainment, and a washer and dryer are handy for your convenience. The primary bedroom comes complete with a luxurious king-size bed, television, split system A/C unit, and access to its own shaded lanai, and the unit has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate vanity. After preparing a meal in the fully remodeled kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, guests can gather at the dining table with seating for four to enjoy a relaxing meal together at home.

If you prefer an al fresco dining experience, step out onto the private lanai. Patio seating is positioned so you can unwind in the fresh air with a mai tai while the sun sets over the ocean. Depending on the season in which you visit, you might even spot spinner dolphins playing in the Pacific! Keauhou Resort has a large, gated pool area for your use, surrounded by lounge chairs for sunbathing. The unit also offers one assigned parking space.

Big Island of Hawaii vacationers will find themselves in an ideal location for a variety of adventures and activities. Keauhou Bay is a short stroll away, and a great place for renting paddle boards and kayaks. For dining and shopping options as well as a movie theater, Keauhou Shopping Center is also nearby. Attractions such as Keauhou Golf Course are also just a quick drive away.
