The property contained everything we needed to cook meals, There were also beach chairs, towels and sand toys. We had what we needed for our family beach outings. It was very clean, comfortable and ready for our arrival. The pool is large and well maintained. The landscaping is lovely. I would stay there again on a future visit. Phyllis Knutson
  • May 31, 2024 This place was beautiful. Totally fit our party of 8 comfortably. Bedding was great. Tons of towels and pool towels were provided. The pool in the community (across the parking lot) was amazing and there are grills there as well as some outdoor games we enjoyed. They provided beach chairs, Umbrellas, and beach toys. Lots of fun walks in the neighborhood. Beautiful beaches nearby. One recommendation would be to get a new beach umbrella (the old one is on its last leg) and maybe one more boogie board so two people could go at once. Loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with knives, assorted bowels and baking dishes and that there was a washer/dryer in the unit with detergent. We would book again in a heart beat! Mariam Morse

We loved the grounds keeper, he was friendly and helpful since the parking lot was under construction when we stayed. There was a fun farmers market right up the road with delicious fresh fruit. Comfy beds and enough space for the 5 of us. Close to Princeville Center that has restaurants, sevices and grocery store. We really enjoyed supper at B's Kitchen. 5 minutes drive from Hanalei Bay as well as Anini beach. Love the North shore and Napali Coast. We will be back! Shelagh Shelagh Audette

The place was clean and well stocked and the couch was very comfy. There's a 15 minute walk/hike down to a beach, which was quiet and convenient and beautiful. Highly recommend! Patrick Coleman

Parking was a little tricky in the tiny lot allotted, but we did always manage to find a space. Sophia was truly wonderful and came right away when we had an issue with the shower drain. Nice place! Even though the building is dated and it does not have A/C, everything worked and was very clean. The check in and out process was very easy and communication with the manager made everything run smoothly. We recommend this property for anyone vacationing on Kauai. Make sure to buy your supplies at Walmart or other store other then FoodLand… it was extremely expensive. Allen Farley

Complete with all new furniture and bedding, this beautifully remodeled Princeville condo provides privacy and plenty of space to accommodate eight guests. Mauna Kai 2 features tranquil and comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces; amenities such as its own washer/dryer and of course complimentary wireless internet service; and even a glimpse of the ocean beyond the lovely garden views. Its convenient location close to the Princeville Center means easy access to restaurants, shopping, a grocery store, a gas station, and other necessities.

The inviting bedrooms at Mauna Kai 2 include a downstairs primary with a king-size bed and private full bath, two upstairs bedrooms (one furnished with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds) that share a full bath, and a loft with two additional twin beds. The well-equipped kitchen with bar seating flows into a dining area, creating an excellent option for relaxed meals at home. The airy, open-concept living space has a sumptuous sofa, a large television, high ceilings, and huge windows for enjoyment of the lush outdoor landscape.

From the living space, sliding glass doors open to a sizable covered lanai with more welcoming places to lounge and unwind. A barbecue grill and dining table are surrounded by tropical vegetation that creates a secluded oasis for open-air meals. A community pool is also just a quick stroll away.

This updated vacation rental condo on the north shore of Kauai is ideally situated right next to the path for gorgeous Anini Beach. Other spectacular beaches like Puu Poa and Hideaways are also nearby, along with the renowned Princeville Makai Golf Course. A short drive leads to the charming towns of Hanalei and Kilauea, with many dining and shopping options, along with art galleries, attractions like the Kilauea Point Lighthouse, and activities like snorkeling, stand-up paddling, surfing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, and ziplining.

Jul 23, 2023 Thanks Kim for a pleasant stay. Great location in Princeville. Very clean and is maintained. Kitchen cabinets and upstairs bath tub could use an update. Comfy beds and enough space for the 5 of us. Close to Princeville Center that has restaurants, sevices and grocery store. We really enjoyed supper at B's Kitchen. 5 minutes drive from Hanalei Bay as well as Anini beach. Love the North shore and Napali Coast. We will be back! Shelagh Shelagh Audette
Jul 19, 2023 The place was great! Good location on the north shore of Kauai. Very easy to drive into Hanalei and to north shore hikes. The neighborhood is quiet and full of beautiful plants. The place was clean and well stocked and the couch was very comfy. There's a 15 minute walk/hike down to a beach, which was quiet and convenient and beautiful. Highly recommend! Patrick Coleman

Jul 05, 2023 This place worked out great for our family of 5. The house had lots of space and stayed cool with fans even when it was hot out. Parking was a little tricky in the tiny lot allotted, but we did always manage to find a space. Sophia was truly wonderful and came right away when we had an issue with the shower drain. Nice place! Jun 25, 2023 We had a great time during our stay on Kauai and having a nice condo to return to each evening was a special treat. Even though the building is dated and it does not have A/C, everything worked and was very clean. The check in and out process was very easy and communication with the manager made everything run smoothly. We recommend this property for anyone vacationing on Kauai. Make sure to buy your supplies at Walmart or other store other then FoodLand… it was extremely expensive. Allen Farley
May 05, 2023 Excellent stay for our group of 8! The bnb was well supplied everywhere including beach items ie: boogie board, cart, ice chests and beach towels. Comfortable and clean, we would love to stay here again and highly recommend to others visiting! Shelley Miller

Aug 14, 2022 Good place to explore the North Shore This place was certainly sufficient for our needs. Well stocked. Close to Queen’s bath and Hanalei Bay activities as well as walking distance to Wylie Beach. Management was very responsive to all inquiries and quick to fix a shower issue. Cindy R
