  • May 31, 2024 This place was beautiful. Totally fit our party of 8 comfortably. Bedding was great. Tons of towels and pool towels were provided. The pool in the community (across the parking lot) was amazing and there are grills there as well as some outdoor games we enjoyed. They provided beach chairs, Umbrellas, and beach toys. Lots of fun walks in the neighborhood. Beautiful beaches nearby. One recommendation would be to get a new beach umbrella (the old one is on its last leg) and maybe one more boogie board so two people could go at once. Loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with knives, assorted bowels and baking dishes and that there was a washer/dryer in the unit with detergent. We would book again in a heart beat! Mariam Morse

  • Apr 05, 2024 We loved our stay here! It was very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Beds were cozy and we had plenty of space for our family of 8. Having the washer and dryer made the stay so much nicer since we were at the beach a couple times each day. We enjoyed visiting the farmers market in the neighborhood on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. Walking around the area was also very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.   • Feb 12, 2024 This house is perfect for a group of 7 adults looking for a spacious, clean and comfortable home in Northern Kauai. It's a wonderful home that's fully equipped with kitchen utensils, bath essentials, and pool/beach equipment, which we used frequently during our stay. The ceiling fans and big windows brought wonderful relief during warm nights. We greatly appreciated the additional parking pass we were given when we requested to accommodate our two rental cars. We loved being on this part of the island: green and lush, peaceful and quiet (even with the roosters!), and close to beautiful beaches. Definitely spend time on their lanai during the day and go stargazing at night - so many stars! Can't wait to come back to Princeville! Doreen Dawang
  • Dec 19, 2023 It was the perfect place for my family of 7. Beds for everyone, spacious, clean and nice living space. Quiet neighborhood., easily accessible. The kids were delighted with a pool, and a body board to use. It was easy to check in and out. And fairly easy to find. It was nice to be so close to food land, to be able to make our own food. The manager was super helpful in texting us all the info…where and how to check in and out. And was a gem and mailed me my camera charger I’d left plugged in the wall. Michele Malouf
  • Oct 25, 2023 We loved our stay. Our kids felt right at home. It had everything we needed to cook when we wanted, and play at the beach. The property was clean and well maintained. We loved the grounds keeper, he was friendly and helpful since the parking lot was under construction when we stayed. There was a fun farmers market right up the road with delicious fresh fruit.   • Jul 19, 2023 The place was great! Good location on the north shore of Kauai. Very easy to drive into Hanalei and to north shore hikes. The neighborhood is quiet and full of beautiful plants. The place was clean and well stocked and the couch was very comfy. There's a 15 minute walk/hike down to a beach, which was quiet and convenient and beautiful. Highly recommend! Patrick Coleman

Even though the building is dated and it does not have A/C, everything worked and was very clean. The check in and out process was very easy and communication with the manager made everything run smoothly. We recommend this property for anyone vacationing on Kauai. Make sure to buy your supplies at Walmart or other store other then FoodLand… it was extremely expensive. Allen Farley

Complete with all new furniture and bedding, this beautifully remodeled Princeville condo provides privacy and plenty of space to accommodate eight guests. Mauna Kai 2 features tranquil and comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces; amenities such as its own washer/dryer and of course complimentary wireless internet service; and even a glimpse of the ocean beyond the lovely garden views. Its convenient location close to the Princeville Center means easy access to restaurants, shopping, a grocery store, a gas station, and other necessities.

The inviting bedrooms at Mauna Kai 2 include a downstairs primary with a king-size bed and private full bath, two upstairs bedrooms (one furnished with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds) that share a full bath, and a loft with two additional twin beds. The well-equipped kitchen with bar seating flows into a dining area, creating an excellent option for relaxed meals at home. The airy, open-concept living space has a sumptuous sofa, a large television, high ceilings, and huge windows for enjoyment of the lush outdoor landscape.

From the living space, sliding glass doors open to a sizable covered lanai with more welcoming places to lounge and unwind. A barbecue grill and dining table are surrounded by tropical vegetation that creates a secluded oasis for open-air meals. A community pool is also just a quick stroll away.

This updated vacation rental condo on the north shore of Kauai is ideally situated right next to the path for gorgeous Anini Beach. Other spectacular beaches like Puu Poa and Hideaways are also nearby, along with the renowned Princeville Makai Golf Course. A short drive leads to the charming towns of Hanalei and Kilauea, with many dining and shopping options, along with art galleries, attractions like the Kilauea Point Lighthouse, and activities like snorkeling, stand-up paddling, surfing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, and ziplining.
