  • Nov 01, 2025 thank you for letting us stay! The view from this darling cottage has to be one of the most breathtaking and captivating that I have ever seen. The sunsets line up perfectly, the surfers are fun to watch, we could see the reef and fish in the water from the lanai. We even saw an eel that had been washed up and then swept back out with the waves much to my husband’s delight! Ah the waves crashing, and setup in the bedroom makes you feel like you are in an over the water bungalow. The full moon over the water in the early morning had me mesmerized as well. Fun, artsy, and vintage Hawaiian decor, and high end finishes and amenities made this feel truly special, thank you for letting us stay! Saira B

  • Oct 01, 2024 As we walk into this cute little house it was just amazing from the front gate to the door you’re welcome by flowers and plants then you open the door and there it is a view of the Pacific Ocean the sound of the waves braking will put you right to sleep the in side is just as cool as the location I have traveled all over the world and even have a home in the Bahamas on the water but this place is very special if you come to Kona and do not stay here you will miss out on the best part of your trip Mike M

There is also a beach right near the house that is walkable and open to the public! As it states in the listing, there is no AC, and it does get rather hot inside, but with all the fans, it airs out some. We highly recommend! Carly T

Location was amazing, down the street from a beach with great snorkeling, we were able to use the gear from the house and walk there, I went twice! A 10-15 minute drive into town. Easy marked spot for parking our rental car. The view was spectacular with great sunsets off the porch. Loved watching the surfers every day. Kitchen very well stocked, definitely the best I’ve seen. The waves break right on the rocks below the house and can be a little loud since you have to leave the window open for air, but the view is worth it! Location was amazing, down the street from a beach with great snorkeling, we were able to use the gear from the house and walk there, I went twice! A 10-15 minute drive into town. Easy marked spot for parking our rental car. The view was spectacular with great sunsets off the porch. Loved watching the surfers every day. Kitchen very well stocked, definitely the best I’ve seen. The waves break right on the rocks below the house and can be a little loud since you have to leave the window open for air, but the view is worth it! It was a clean and beautiful house, we loved it and would recommend! Storm M

The house is super cute and has more than enough stuff to accommodate you. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back again!! Loved this place!! Liz D
