  • May 18, 2024 The Seaside accommodation was perfect for our family. To go to sleep and wake up every day to a view of the ocean was delightful. The space was clean and comfortable and there was room to enjoy meals, reading on the lanai, good location for taking a walk to Kona for dinner or shopping. Instructions were very clear for arrival and departure. It was very nice to have access to a pool and hot tub. Overall, a great stay. Tres Schnell

  • Jun 05, 2023 The view was amazing. We enjoyed being so close to the ocean and viewing the water - so relaxing. We ate nearly every meal out on the lanai and watched the waves come in. We even saw a few surfers! For meals, the grills were close and convenient and the kitchen was perfect and well stocked. The whole family loved the pool and the view from there was fantastic as well. The property management was awesome to communicate with. We had some travel plans change, and they were very accommodating and responsive. We were there in June and did not find the lack of Air Conditioning to be a problem. The ocean breeze was strong and the fans provided helped cool down the house. The location was great - not far from groceries, and a nice walk to shops and things to do downtown. We would love to stay here again! Melissa Sheehan

The unit is well-furnished with many amenities making for a comfortable stay. The location was far enough away from town to be quiet and yet close enough for a walk into town for a meal or shopping.   • Oct 19, 2022 Love the location Love the location, it was close to many restaurants and beaches. The view was beautiful we loved having meals outside and hearing the waves crash. The living room/kitchen/dining area were large. There were many towels and accessories to take to the beach if you need them. There were some small cleanliness issues like hairs in the shower and a broken acrylic on the chair outside lol but nothing huge. Also didn’t like the toilet paper but I just bought a small pack of our own. The property was beautiful too the bbq area was nice. The area felt safe. There was always a spot to park. Open the large sliding doors from the living room to enter out onto the furnished lanai, which features seating for four. The kitchen features ocean views, an abundance of counter space and is stocked with every essential necessary to prepare a festive meal or a light snack. Additional seating for four in the dining area adds to your convenience and comfort.

Conveniently located near downtown Kailua-Kona, you'll love exploring the area and its many significant Hawaiian cultural landmarks. Both the Hulihee Palace and the Mokuaikaua Church are located on Ali'i Drive. King Kamehameha I spent his last years living near the current site of what is now the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel, until his passing in 1819. The Ahu'ena Heiau, located on the grounds of the hotel, is a reconstructed temple rebuilt by the late king and is on the register of National Historic Landmarks.
