• Sep 23, 2025 unobstructed ocean view 3rd floor wrap around balcony with unobstructed ocean view was fabulous. You can snorkel just a few steps from the place (depending on the tide). • Apr 07, 2025 We had a great time on the Big Island. The place was perfect for our family of 4. It has an oversized lanai that has an amazing view, and is perfect for morning coffee and watching the sunset. We really couldn’t ask for a better place and host. Would definitely stay again. • Mar 23, 2025 Excellent spot for our family trip to Hawaii. The unit was easy to find, easy to access, clean, and came with everything we needed. We loved how plentiful the beach towels and beach items were…chairs, snorkels, boogie board, cooler. Everything you want at the beach but don’t want to pack. We loved spending time in the spacious wrap-around porch in the morning and evening. We made a few simple meals in the kitchen and liked that they had a few pantry staples…olive oil, spices, ziplock bags. The beds were comfortable, the washer and dryer were so helpful, and the air conditioning did a good job cooling the bedrooms. At check out I forgot a high value item in the unit. The cleaning crew contacted the management and I was able to make a plan to get it back before my flight. Very helpful and much appreciated. Excellent spot. Would stay again. • May 14, 2024 The condo is all about the location and view. There are parts of condo that could use updating, I.e. bathrooms. The property management company was incredibly responsive when the refrigerator wasn’t working when we arrived: brought coolers and refrigerator was replaced the next day. • Apr 01, 2024 We stayed her for one week and it was amazing. Walking in when we arrived was breathtaking. The view from the unit is awesome. The pictures don’t do it justice. We watched the sunset from the lanai each night and it was so pretty. The seating on the lanai is perfect. We had breakfast outside at the family size table. And watched the sunsets in the comfy chairs. At night having the bedroom air conditioning was so nice but not needed the whole night as the outside air cooled the rest of the place down quick. We have two teens so having the second bedroom with two beds was so nice. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The Wi-Fi also worked great and was fast. We were happy to find beach chairs, beach blankets and a small cooler in the closet. They came in so handy for beach days. The kitchen is well stocked and loved the washer and dryer. • Mar 28, 2024 If you want to stay right on the ocean, this is your place. The Lanai is huge and has lots of seating for lounging and eating. Constant sound of waves crashing below. Pleasant pool right downstairs and gas grills for grilling your food. Only negative was the “gym”. It was awful, but that’s not a reflection on the condo. AC worked great in the bedrooms for sleeping if you like it cooler. If you prefer listening to the ocean you could keep the sliding glass doors open. The rest of the unit is cooled by cross breezes off the ocean. This place is 5 stars like the other reviews say. We enjoyed our time there. Show more Show less Chris R
• Dec 28, 2023 The view and the sounds, absolutely amazing. Walking in through the kitchen on to the lanai was breathtaking. I’m not a huge fan of doing dishes but I could have stood in that kitchen all day long doing exactly that with the door open, that view and the sounds of the waves on the rocks. The wraparound lanai was wonderful, plenty of space to accommodate quiet reading, happy socializing or checking out the pool activity. Bedrooms and bathrooms were as expected, clean with comfy beds and all the bathroom necessities. I liked the fact that bedroom number 2 was 2 single beds instead of one larger bed; less awkward if guests 3 and 4 are not another “couple”. This home had several little extras that we appreciated. Things as simple as a pad of paper and a pencil, a couple of local take-out menus and binoculars to watch those amazing whales. The walk to the business district was a bit of a trek but a plus as far as privacy and noise level goes, better to be a bit away from the fray. Show more Show less Anne L

• Oct 24, 2023 This place was magical!!! You can look at the mighty ocean all day long not only from the balcony but also from the kitchen, living room and bed room! Listening to the waves was such a calming and soothing experience. The balcony is huge with the view of the swimming pool on one side and the ocean on another. There is no beach right behind but it is walkable. Lots of good restaurants nearby driving distance. Parking was free and was never an issue during our stay. The place is designed meticulously and had everything we needed. The mattress was comfortable. Dishwasher, washer and dryer were good to have. Watching sunsets sitting in your balcony and watching the ocean and clouds glow during the sunrise times was surreal experience. Gather vacations was great in communicating, connecting with the professional services who could help in planning your trip activities, massages etc. We did not use any services but that was a good option to have. • Jul 29, 2023 View is amazing! Condo is well laid out and spacious. The lanai makes it and because you are on the end of the building next to the ocean, lovely breezes. Slightly too far to walk to downtown area for a coffee, but found parking was pretty accessible. Although not catalogued, they had tons of helpful items in the condo such as a small rolling igloo cooler, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. would recommend letting guests know about these beforehand better. Washer/dryer was a Godsend for our busy days out and about. The only slightly annoying thing were the “unrealistic” rules of the pool, such as no jumping in the pool in an 8 ft deep pool, no cannonballing, etc. I believe that everyone can be respectful and still have fun. • Jul 03, 2023 The condo was as expected based on listing. It was a great location where we were able to watch July 4th fireworks from the rocks below. The snorkeling right in front of the condo was surprisingly good. There were a few minor maintenance issues that we reported. Air conditioning in each bedroom only. It stays cool with the lanai doors open. Gorgeous, right on the ocean with fun tide pools right below. Good beach gear- umbrella, chairs, coolers, snorkel gear. It is better than the photos! • Jan 03, 2023 Our stay was great. The wrap around balcony had great views. My wife and I were traveling with a friend and we had plenty of space and did not feel on top of each other. It’s close enough to everything on that side of the island. The constant sound of crashing waves could be a pro or con depending on your preference, for us it was not an issue.
