Mar 29, 2024 This is a beautiful, homy and comfortable place just a short walk from the beach. Everything is updated and well appointed, and it was squeaky clean. There is plenty of space, the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need including spices and seasonings. The bed was very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the deck and bbq grill and beach equipment! The glass louvers provided a comfortable cross breeze - we never turned on the a/c. I recommend bringing ear plugs though as, like everywhere on Kauai, the chickens start early! A few neighborhood dogs also joined in the early morning cacophony. Our host was proactive, easy to communicate with and helpful. We had a great time and highly recommend this property. James Low

Mar 02, 2024 We had a wonderful stay at Hanalei Bay. Beautiful views of the waterfalls, mountains and jungle- all also within minutes of the beach. The home was very spacious, very charming and had all of the amenities we required. All of our inquiries and communications with the property agent were answered immediately. We will definitely return to this area and would absolutely return to this property! Suzanne Robertson

Sep 14, 2023 Loved this home! It was super close to the amazing beaches in the north side and very close to Hanalei town where all the food and shops are located. Plenty to do and explore in the area. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed, including beach chairs, umbrellas and all the things you need for a fun day at the beach. This was our first time to Kauai (we normally go to Maui) and loved getting to explore this beautiful island. Highly recommend staying on this side of the island! Stephanie Jensen

Such an amazing place. Hanalei in general and the home in particular. The property manager was super attentive and all the amenities were perfect. Jun 13, 2023 Hale Kanani is the absolutely perfect house for a vacation to the north shore of Kauai. Everything in the house is new and updated, and it has all been thoughtfully curated with all your vacation home needs. We especially enjoyed the lanai, which was never too hot for lounging. The proximity to Hanalei Bay was so convenient, and also all of the other north shore beaches. We can't wait to return soon! Kelly Noonan

Jun 03, 2023 This home was absolutely perfect for our family of four and the photos truly do not do this space justice! It was refreshing to stay in a private neighborhood as opposed to a resort this time. I felt totally comfortable letting my kids play outside without having to watch over them so closely. I loved waking up to the sounds of the birds, the lanai was my happy place every morning. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Hope to be back again! Kayla Richardson

The home was so well stocked, clean, and nicely decorated. And when we needed something we were quickly responded to and supported! The views were beautiful. The house felt loved and cared for in a way that made us feel like we were in our own home. They had every “extra” you might think of including spices and sunblock. We felt well taken care of. Mar 02, 2023 The pictures in the listing do not reflect how large the space was. 2 couples could enjoy this place without ever feeling crowded. The view from the Lanai was so amazing that my wife did not believe it was real. Two short blocks to the beautiful Hanalei Beach. Three blocks to Hanalei Town. Short drive to Tunnels Beach and Foodland for supplies. This is where you want to be in Kauai. Super clean and fully stocked location. Bryan Hickey

The large, open common area at Hale Kanani includes a bright and cheerful living space with plenty of comfortable seating, a well-appointed kitchen with an eat-in breakfast bar, and a lovely dining area. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, an en suite full bath, and direct access to a covered lanai with breathtaking views of the mountains and the lush, tropical landscape. Bedroom two has a queen-size bed and its own full bath.
Hale Kanani also offers amenities such as air conditioning in the bedrooms, complimentary wireless internet, a flat-screen cable television, a DVD player, and a high-performance washer and dryer. Outside on the spacious lanai, a gas grill and seating area create an opportunity to revel in the indoor-outdoor island lifestyle.
This heavenly Hanalei cottage allows easy access to activities such as surfing in Hanalei Bay and kayaking or stand-up paddling on the Hanalei River. Just a two-block stroll from Hanalei town, the home is also conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores surrounded by stunning scenery. Hiking, boating, ziplining, horseback riding and many other activities are nearby, as well.
