Our VP of Finance, Chris Betancourt, comes to Gather with 15 years of experience in accounting—five of which were spent in the vacation rental space, where he managed both finance and field operations.

A New York native who currently resides in San Diego, Chris makes it his mission to utilize his skills and experience to solve problems, improve workflow management and align structure within the various departments of a company.

In addition to playing in competitive baseball and basketball leagues, Chris is an outdoor enthusiast who loves the sight and smell of a great campfire. He also follows a strict vegan diet and loves spending time near the ocean. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Connecticut State University.
