Jun 10, 2023 This house is a jewel!! There were 7 of us (age 22-59) staying in this beautiful multi level home for a week. Situated on a bluff, we had fabulous views of the ocean from many locations inside and out. We cooked a lot and had all the dishes, pots, pans utensils etc that we needed. Management was very friendly and responsive to our needs. Home is about a 15 minute walk or very short drive into the village of La Jolla. The plunge pool and hot tub were great and there was space for our whole group to be outside. What I loved about this house is that there is plenty of room for your group to be together when they want but there are lots of books and crannies—both inside and out—if you want some alone time too. We would be thrilled to get to stay here again—had a ball! Susan M.

We enjoyed relaxing inside and outside while taking in the lovely ocean views. We appreciated and used all the extra special touches, such as; an extra car, beach chairs/umbrellas, beach towels, helping to create an easy and relaxing time. The house was appointed beautifully and was very spacious with great outdoor deck areas. The beds were super comfortable and there was nothing at all lacking. It even had decent knives!! The booking and checkout processes were very easy, and the property manager was very responsive and ready to assist with anything we needed. Jan 22, 2023 Beautiful and Cozy What a wonderful home. We had our family of 15 people and there was plenty of room to enjoy together. The decor and furnishings were perfect. The kitchen worked out great for most of us to be in there together. The bedrooms were big and comfortable. The property is so green and lush. And the gals are so friendly. We got to meet the owner and felt like we became instant friends. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a perfect home in a perfect location. Jan 01, 2022 Wonderful home, close to everything. The house is lovely. It would be a great place for a large family vacation in warmer weather than we experienced at the end of a rainy December week. Children would be in heaven with the varied outdoor space, the play room, and adults will love the gym too. If you want to prepare your own meals, they have everything here to make lovely meals. Jenn helped us out a lot with concierge services too and made arrangements for us for some lovely activities and restaurant reservations. Pamela Lodish

Large outdoor patios are great. Three large master bedrooms. Off the beaten path, in a great neighborhood, while also very convenient to Downtown La Jolla, the beaches and San Diego attractions. Welcome to Whitefield Vistas. This stunning six-bedroom 3.5 bath home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and boasts spectacular ocean views from multiple rooms and three decks. Initially built in 1928 and remodeled several times, it retains its charming classic feel with rustic-modern and bright decor.
The living/family room has a vaulted wood ceiling and four wood-burning fireplaces, including a rarely seen relic - an original bomb shelter. The formal dining room seats 10, and there is a large game room in the well-appointed basement.
The property includes four parcels with citrus, fig, peach, and persimmon trees, as well as sprawling gardens and multiple decks with areas to lounge and relax. Enjoy the fire pit, BBQ, ping pong, and soft basket hoops while taking in the breathtaking ocean and garden views. There is also a newly added trampoline, swim spa, and hot tub (additional heating fee applies).
The main floor has four bedrooms, two with King beds and two with Queen beds. One King bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with hall access, and the other King shares a "Jack and Jill" bathroom with one Queen bedroom. There is also a half bath in the hall outside the second Queen bedroom. Upstairs, there is a large loft bedroom with a balcony and ocean views, perfect for kids. It has one Queen bed, one twin, and one twin trundle. Downstairs, there is a large bedroom with ocean views, a King bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Two bedrooms have independent entrances.
This home is perfect for a family vacation with multiple generations and is an entertaining house for kids of any age.
Please note that this is a non-smoking home, inside and outside. The home sleeps 14 people and has a maximum occupancy of 14, which is strictly enforced. Street parking only. Guests must be a minimum of 35 years or older to book. This home is in a quiet neighborhood and only suitable for quiet groups. Our rental agreement includes a no-tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, and parties. All our homes are equipped with noise monitors and the city regulations dictate no outside noise after 10 pm. Rule violations will result in immediate eviction and a $1,000.00 fine.
Please be aware every reservation check in must be met in person with a greeter from the property management company, self-check ins are not allowed. Our cut off for arrivals to check in is 8:00 p.m. after which a greeter will be available to meet at the property for access starting at 8:00 a.m. the following day. ID verification showing that the person checking in is the same as the credit card used on the reservation is mandatory. Failure to provide ID verification as requested will result in the cancellation of the reservation.
