Nehalem Coastal Oasis

Welcome to the Nehalem Coastal Oasis by Gather, a newly built 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home (including a main house and a garage apartment) nestled along the private and quiet backroads of the spectacular Oregon coast. Between the new interior design, modern furnishings, and the beauty of the surrounding forest scenery, this home lives up to its name as your oasis in the peaceful nature of the Pacific Northwest.

While the home is newly built, the land has been in the family for decades, and they take great care to offer guests a warm and welcoming stay. The main house includes an open-concept living area equipped with various seating options, including a full-size pullout couch, a 55” flat-screen Smart TV, deck access, books, games, high-vaulted ceilings, and ample natural light, making it an ideal setting for spending some quality time together. The fully equipped kitchen has all-new stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, several culinary tools, a large island countertop with bar stool seating, and forest views. Cook up some delicious meals in the kitchen and serve them at the dining table set for 6 for a lovely night of food and fun.

The primary and guest bedrooms each have a comfortable queen bed, flat-screen TV, and closet. The primary bedroom also comes with a private ensuite, including a tiled shower/tub combo and a sliding glass door with access to the back of the house. A guest bathroom with a shower/tub combo comes fully stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Two additional air mattresses are in the bedroom closet to accommodate other guests if needed.

The garage apartment includes a pullout sleeper sofa and a twin-over-full bunk bed. The full kitchen in the garage has everything needed to whip up an excellent dish, and the full bathroom includes a walk-in shower. Also in the apartment is a second laundry room with a large capacity washer and dryer, sink, and counter space.

Step outside onto the covered patio to find several Adirondack lounge chairs and a barbecue grill station for family-friendly cookouts amidst the fantastic views of wildlife, or step around the back to discover the new gazebo with lighting and seating options, as well as the relaxing hot tub for a calm evening spent under the twinkling stars of the Oregonian night sky. For special occasions, wander down to the fire pit beside the main house for a night of campfires and smores – but please be aware of the county’s current burn ban status during your stay before arranging a fire.

Behind the home are 15 acres of nature to explore, including some footpaths that lead to a small creek and are a lovely setting to take a serene stroll through the woodlands. The home is also located within a 25 min drive of 9 different boat launches, making this home the perfect home base for fishermen and their boats. The owner is an avid angler and would be happy to share some sweet spots with you. Nehalem Coastal Oasis is located just 10 minutes away from the beautiful beaches that line the Oregon coastline. The home borders the Tillamook National Forest, with a wealth of nature hikes.

Pets are welcome with advance notice upon agreement to the pet rules and payment of a pet fee. Please reach out to management for specific details regarding pets.

We are RV friendly - we allow one RV to park onsite and hook up to electricity/water (septic is coming soon, but there is no date yet). The fee to bring an RV to hook up is $25/night. The max number of guests will be 14 if you bring up an RV for the additional 5 to sleep in. We also allow you to put up some tents for rustic camping.

An event fee of $500 will be charged if you plan on hosting a backyard family reunion/wedding/large event, which would allow up to 25 guests at one time. More significant events would be considered case-by-case and require a portable toilet rental. Please reach out to management to discuss details of space and events allowed.

*We are surrounded by wildlife - please do not leave any food or trash out in the open, or you will attract some unwanted wildlife, including some pretty aggressive Ravens who stalk the area*
**Please note that this property has exterior-facing security cameras onsite. Cameras point exclusively to the driveway and cannot see the inside of the home and hot tub.**
