Description

Koa Resort sits on five acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in sunny Kihei on the south shore of Maui. This large one bedroom, one bathroom ground floor unit has been recently renovated and boasts new luxury vinyl flooring throughout, a fresh coat of paint, and newly installed granite countertops. With Keaka Beach right across the street from the resort and a pool just steps from your lanai, you’ll find yourself living in paradise with this rare find.

The recently installed granite countertops in the kitchen offer a ton of prep space, as well as a breakfast bar for two when you just need to grab a quick bite. The multitude of cabinets and the large stainless steel fridge provide ample storage space and the dishwasher makes cleanup a breeze. Lush, green garden views are visible from both the kitchen and the living room, where you’ll find an office nook with a desk so you can write postcards to send to your family back home. A comfortable sleeper sofa opens up to accommodate two additional guests, which is the perfect spot for movie nights on the large flat screen TV or to gaze at the tropical plants just beyond the glass sliders. Create the ultimate indoor/outdoor living space when you open up the sliding doors to your sizable lanai. Enjoy all your meals outdoors while you listen to the sounds of the leaves blowing in the breeze, or spend a lazy afternoon outside with a book and an ice-cold beverage.

From the King-size bed in the spacious bedroom, the landscaped grounds of the resort are put on full display. A portable air conditioner is provided in the room for humid nights, and there’s plenty of closet space to store your belongings. The full-size ensuite, with its walk-in shower, has more than enough space as well as updated finishings. There’s also a washer/dryer unit conveniently located just inside the front door, so you can dump your towels in there as soon as you get back from the beach.

One of the main draws of staying in a resort is the access to all of the amazing amenities, and Koa Resort definitely does not disappoint in that area. Without stepping foot off resort property, you’ll be kept busy swimming in the large pool, soaking in the jacuzzi, playing tennis or shuffleboard, or grilling some burgers and hot dogs on the BBQs in the poolside cabanas. What’s also great about this Maui vacation rental is its central location in Kihei. You’re close to Sugar Beach, an expansive sandy beach great for whale watching in the winter months, and Kama’ole Beach Park, with its powdery white sand and stunning views of Kaho’olawe and Lana’i, two other Hawaiian Islands.
