The rental company was very responsive and they even replaced the bikes and brought us brand new ones when I told them the ones at the house had flat tires and were unable to ride them as a family.   • Feb 17, 2024 Property is great location and was clean and peaceful. Beach amenities were great for our grandchildren when we explored the nearby beaches. All appliances worked good and were adequate for our purposes. Pool was good for relaxing. The pool picture in VRBO should be updated, since the shrubbery is grown to about 7 feet so the golf course is not viewable while in the pool or on outside patio. The upstairs patio has a great view of the golf course and ocean. Great location if you like to golf, Makai golf course is expensive but a nice golf course. Mark H

Huge fridge, 2 dishwashers, and so many kitchen utensils! The location was perfect for us on the island! And let me tell you about the point person they assign you (Yen) for the week - WOW! He was attentive and thoughtful, responded so quickly when we had a question or needed something, and even had us open the advent calendar each day! They accommodated us so much, we were just in awe. Grocery store is about 7 minutes away and is great. Hosts were extremely responsive and the whole experience was unforgettable. The master room had no doors… so if you need privacy, likely not the best option. The master is located at the top floor f the stairs and is alone up there but the lack of doors also countered the AC. Karah Y

  • Jul 22, 2023 Absolutely LOVED this property. There were 6 adults and 2 teens in our party. We had not stayed in Princeville before. It was convenient to everything in the area. We had in-home massages and a helicopter tour scheduled via their concierge services. Maile had everything scheduled within 24 hours after being informed of our needs. The people they used for both services were awesome. We loved the ping pong table in the garage and pool in the back yard. All of the beach accessories and the outdoor shower to clean up after a day at the beach was such a bonus. Loved the convenience of the washer/dryer. AC in all the bedrooms was nice too. Everyone had their own rooms and beds and all of the rooms were spread out. The fridge was massive. Plenty of dishes and kitchen stuff. Just walking the neighborhood was relaxing as well. Great views of the mountains in the front yard and ocean from the balcony overlooking the back yard and golf course. The neighborhood was really quiet and peaceful. Yen and April were quick to respond with the few questions that we had. I highly recommend staying at the Hokulani Villa. You won't regret it. Nina V

We were traveling with a 6 month old and the upstairs den was a perfect spot for the travel crib. It was so nice having a private pool (the plants around the pool are taller now than in the pictures - even more privacy!) We also enjoyed being able to walk down to Happy Talk Lounge for pupus, dinner, and drinks. The ping pong table in the garage and puzzles/books in the house kept us entertained on rainy days. Kitchen had all amenities, huge freezer, and cooking supplies. Linen closet was full of extras and several towels for different uses, clean bathrooms, and excellent laundry supplies. Backyard felt very private and safe for young kids, easy to supervise from kitchen/dining. Garage is NOT available. Parking is available on the driveway only.

Please be advised that the pool is not heated. Kindly ask us if pool heat is available and if available, pool heat must be requested prior to arrival and will incur a daily charge.

Please note, mandatory mid-stay cleaning is required for stays of 10+ nights. For stays of over 21 nights, two mid-stay cleanings are required. Any mandatory mid-stay cleaning charges will be included in your reservation quote based on your length of stay. Please contact management for more information if needed.

These tiny insects are attracted to light and are especially common in lush, green areas like ours. To minimize their impact during your stay:

Keep doors and windows closed as much as possible.
Ensure screens are securely in place. Please note, however, that some gnats are so small they may get through even the finest mesh screens.

We were traveling with a 6 month old and the upstairs den was a perfect spot for the travel crib. It was so nice having a private pool (the plants around the pool are taller now than in the pictures - even more privacy!) We also enjoyed being able to walk down to Happy Talk Lounge for pupus, dinner, and drinks. The ping pong table in the garage and puzzles/books in the house kept us entertained on rainy days. Mar 22, 2023 The location was spectacular, and the house was pristine. We had single family with 3 children, so the house had more than enough space - would be ideal for 2 families with kids. The main attraction was the private outdoor pool and gorgeous backyard garden, which is rare in Kauai. Location inside high-end Princeville community with golf course, mountain, and ocean views from the 2nd floor. Easy walking paths too Neighbors in Hotel 1 (must try their Dawn Patrol açaí bowl), Pu'u Pua beach, and golf/tennis. The house itself was extremely well-stocked. Kitchen had all amenities, huge freezer, and cooking supplies. Linen closet was full of extras and several towels for different uses, clean bathrooms, and excellent laundry supplies. Backyard felt very private and safe for young kids, easy to supervise from kitchen/dining. AC and fans worked well, fast wifi, and garage included beach supplies/snorkel gear/water toys/bikes/ping-pong table/surfboards/boogie boards. Well worth it! Daniel L
