  • Feb 25, 2026 Highly recommend staying here! When we arrived, the house was spotless and well maintained. You can’t beat the patio view with the singing songbirds. We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out here for dinners and to catch a vibrant sunset. Staff are extremely responsive to any questions. The kitchen was well stocked and we found everything we needed. The game room was a fun bonus as well for a night of entertainment. The location was perfect for us as it was close to kola Kai lava tube, fun snorkeling (captain cook), and great restaurants on the beach. We would definitely stay here again! Guest

It was so relaxing to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, watching the sunrise and then having dinner and drinks at sunset. The house was a perfect respite to complement our fun filled days of whale watching, lava tube exploring and hiking/snorkeling adventures. The location is close to many main activities and attractions. The host was very responsive with any questions. The kitchen was well stocked. The mattresses were extremely comfortable.   • Feb 16, 2026 Amazing property!! Pool, hot tub and views just stupendous! Super well stocked kitchen - much better stocked than most places I’ve stayed at - they thought of everything! Game room in garage a great bonus, super quiet neighborhood, front gate/security were so very friendly and helpful.. the only minor thing to complain about was the TV internet connection in main room was a bit spotty but we were still able to watch movies ok (personally I don’t care about TV, but nephew does). As a part-time student, I actually took remote classes 3 days of the week while there (used a different area from main room) and had zero issues w internet speed or connection. There’s a work nook in one of the bedrooms that worked fine - I also work remotely and would’ve been comfortable taking on a few hours of work w the space and internet speed in that nook. Would DEFINITELY stay here again - absolutely LOVED IT!!! (Nephew almost cried the last day cuz he didn’t want to leave!!) Shirley C

  • Jul 17, 2025 Thank you for a great vacation! We had a great stay with our family of 8 visiting our 50th state! Felt very safe in the small gated neighborhood, which had a very convenient location for the Big Island. We were unsure if we would be able to get deliveries, but we just had to let the people at the gate know to expect them, and got Instacart groceries and Doordash without a problem. The home was well-stocked and well-maintained, there were plenty of towels, and the pool and hot tub were great after long days of sightseeing around the island. Thank you for a great vacation! Pool, hot tub, game room, fantastic kitchen with everything you could ever need to cook for your family. It exceeded all our expectations! We highly recommend for you to bring your family here. It’s well situated to head north or south and feels super safe and private in a quiet, gated community. We could have easily spent a month here and would definitely return. Sarah G

The home was clean with two minor exceptions, some dead bugs in a couple of rooms & some of the towels had a sour smell. The house was even nicer than the pictures online, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The highlight for our three kids was the pool. They spent hours each day splashing around, giving us some relaxation time. The pool area was private and well-maintained, providing a perfect oasis. Another fantastic feature was the game room in the garage. We loved using it in the evenings, and it added extra fun to our stay. The location was ideal—quiet and private, yet close to amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, and beaches. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our Hawaiian vacation. Its convenient yet quiet location was a good jump off point for beaches, snorkeling, exploring and dining out. Was surprised at the enthusiasm of the grands for the game room.   • Feb 05, 2024 My family and I were there to celebrate my 60th and our retirement, and had the best trip of our lives in Feb 2024. A big part of that was the property we rented for our stay. We have booked vacation rentals for our trips to Florida and Hawaii multiple times. We have used VRBO for most of these bookings and have always been pleased with our choices, but this one was easily the best.   • Oct 07, 2023 We enjoyed our stay at this home in Kona. While we thought the home had 3 bedrooms, it actually had 4. We had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The lanai was perfect with a pool and ocean view. Being able to open the door wall to bring the outside in was ideal. Even if you were inside in the great room, you felt part of the outside. We stayed for the Ironman race, and it was pretty easy to get to/from town (15-20 minutes). There was a shuttle at the nearby shopping center that athletes and spectators could take to town to avoid parking. We felt close to the action, but far enough away to also enjoy some peace and quiet. The kitchen was well-stocked with needed equipment for making our own meals. There was nothing lacking. We would certainly stay again should the opportunity allow. Jennifer C

The fully retractable sliding door and windows in the back of the house were incredible, especially at sunset. That view! Wow!! The location is perfect - close to Kona, groceries, beaches, restaurants - but quieter. The pool and spa were a huge hit with our kids, as were the games in the garage.   • Aug 30, 2023 Pros: The property was fresh and immaculately clean. The furnishings were nice. It had every amenity you would ever need. The outside areas including the lanai, pool and hot tub were awsome and we used them every day!. The views were great and the sunsets spectacular. Cons: One room's tv never worked even thouh they came out to fix it. The temperature of the house was hard to regulate . Some areas were too cool and others, too hot. Street noise from the main road was pretty noticable in the bedrooms at bedtime and in the mornings. Lastly, if you are a beach person, the nicest beaches are 30-45 minutes away. Robin P

  • Mar 18, 2023 We spend a wonderful two weeks with our family at this property. The location is very nice and private. The property was clean and well stocked for any type of cooking that you would like to do. Our children enjoyed the pool and hot tub, where you had the ability to control the temperature (which we loved!). The house is decorated very tastefully and there was plenty of room for us and our three daughters to have room to play together or have some privacy to ourselves. There were lots of games and pool toys, etc. at the house so we did not even really need all the other extra toys we brought. We would absolutely recommend this place! Christopher D

Given how spacious the house was, you could be part of the group or have some downtime if you just wanted to decompress. We highly recommend and would stay here again without question! Gina D
Nov 24, 2024 Beautiful comfortable home. We appreciated the water & coffee upon arrival. Directions for the home were clear. Beds were comfortable. Security was great. The home was clean with two minor exceptions, some dead bugs in a couple of rooms & some of the towels had a sour smell. The pool, hot tub & game room were so fun we could have spent the entire vacation without leaving this home. Terrie C
Jul 07, 2024 Our family of eight recently stayed at this beautiful home in Hawaii, and it exceeded all our expectations. The house was even nicer than the pictures online, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The highlight for our three kids was the pool. They spent hours each day splashing around, giving us some relaxation time. The pool area was private and well-maintained, providing a perfect oasis. Another fantastic feature was the game room in the garage. We loved using it in the evenings, and it added extra fun to our stay. The location was ideal—quiet and private, yet close to amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, and beaches. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our Hawaiian vacation. This home provided everything we needed and more. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, beautiful, and family-friendly retreat in Hawaii. Giovanni R
Jun 27, 2024 Our Ohana of 11 (6 adults and 5 kids) loved the house. The game room was fantastic. We all so appreciated the beach chairs and all the towels. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect for us and comfortable for the little ones. Jun 07, 2024 Ohana Le'ale'a provided a fun, comfortable and memorable vacay for our family. Its convenient yet quiet location was a good jump off point for beaches, snorkeling, exploring and dining out. Was surprised at the enthusiasm of the grands for the game room. A few more coffee mugs would be nice, but for that view and that home it’s a minor detail. Mahalo for making us feel at home on Hawaii Island! Libby K

The directions provided for check in were easy to follow. The house is located in a gated community. Getting in and out of the neighborhood was easy. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen has all the pots, pans and equipment you’ll need for cooking. There is plenty of space. The lanai is a great place to hang out. We would highly recommend this house. Jason R

Feb 05, 2024 My family and I were there to celebrate my 60th and our retirement, and had the best trip of our lives in Feb 2024. A big part of that was the property we rented for our stay. We have booked vacation rentals for our trips to Florida and Hawaii multiple times. We have used VRBO for most of these bookings and have always been pleased with our choices, but this one was easily the best. Oct 07, 2023 We enjoyed our stay at this home in Kona. While we thought the home had 3 bedrooms, it actually had 4. We had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The lanai was perfect with a pool and ocean view. Being able to open the door wall to bring the outside in was ideal. Even if you were inside in the great room, you felt part of the outside. We stayed for the Ironman race, and it was pretty easy to get to/from town (15-20 minutes). There was a shuttle at the nearby shopping center that athletes and spectators could take to town to avoid parking. We felt close to the action, but far enough away to also enjoy some peace and quiet. The kitchen was well-stocked with needed equipment for making our own meals. There was nothing lacking. We would certainly stay again should the opportunity allow. Jennifer C
Sep 22, 2023 Amazing place - the house is even bigger and better in person! There was more than enough room for all of us. The fully retractable sliding door and windows in the back of the house were incredible, especially at sunset. That view! Wow!! The location is perfect - close to Kona, groceries, beaches, restaurants - but quieter. The pool and spa were a huge hit with our kids, as were the games in the garage. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly. Sarah C

Aug 30, 2023 Pros: The property was fresh and immaculately clean. The furnishings were nice. It had every amenity you would ever need. The outside areas including the lanai, pool and hot tub were awsome and we used them every day!. The views were great and the sunsets spectacular. Cons: One room's tv never worked even thouh they came out to fix it. The temperature of the house was hard to regulate . Some areas were too cool and others, too hot. Street noise from the main road was pretty noticable in the bedrooms at bedtime and in the mornings. Lastly, if you are a beach person, the nicest beaches are 30-45 minutes away. Robin P

Mar 18, 2023 We spend a wonderful two weeks with our family at this property. The location is very nice and private. The property was clean and well stocked for any type of cooking that you would like to do. Our children enjoyed the pool and hot tub, where you had the ability to control the temperature (which we loved!). The house is decorated very tastefully and there was plenty of room for us and our three daughters to have room to play together or have some privacy to ourselves. There were lots of games and pool toys, etc. at the house so we did not even really need all the other extra toys we brought. We would absolutely recommend this place! Christopher D
