The directions provided for check in were easy to follow. The house is located in a gated community. Getting in and out of the neighborhood was easy. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen has all the pots, pans and equipment you’ll need for cooking. There is plenty of space. The lanai is a great place to hang out. We would highly recommend this house. Jason Robertson

  • Feb 05, 2024 My family and I were there to celebrate my 60th and our retirement, and had the best trip of our lives in Feb 2024. A big part of that was the property we rented for our stay. We have booked vacation rentals for our trips to Florida and Hawaii multiple times. We have used VRBO for most of these bookings and have always been pleased with our choices, but this one was easily the best.   • Oct 07, 2023 We enjoyed our stay at this home in Kona. While we thought the home had 3 bedrooms, it actually had 4. We had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The lanai was perfect with a pool and ocean view. Being able to open the door wall to bring the outside in was ideal. Even if you were inside in the great room, you felt part of the outside. We stayed for the Ironman race, and it was pretty easy to get to/from town (15-20 minutes). There was a shuttle at the nearby shopping center that athletes and spectators could take to town to avoid parking. We felt close to the action, but far enough away to also enjoy some peace and quiet. The kitchen was well-stocked with needed equipment for making our own meals. There was nothing lacking. We would certainly stay again should the opportunity allow. Jennifer Charters

The property was clean and well stocked for any type of cooking that you would like to do. Our children enjoyed the pool and hot tub, where you had the ability to control the temperature (which we loved!). The house is decorated very tastefully and there was plenty of room for us and our three daughters to have room to play together or have some privacy to ourselves. There were lots of games and pool toys, etc. at the house so we did not even really need all the other extra toys we brought. We would absolutely recommend this place! Christopher DeLise

Welcome to Ohana Le'ale'a by Gather, a newly built luxury 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home, perfect for your next family getaway. Step inside this spacious and well-equipped vacation rental and discover all the amenities it has to offer. As you enter, you'll be greeted by the open floor plan with 12-14ft vaulted ceilings, a modern updated design, and beautiful hardwood floors with natural travertine stone throughout the home. The Hawaiian native wood trim accents add a touch of elegance to this already stunning property.

The kitchen is a chef's dream, fully equipped with integrated chef-style appliances and ample counter space. The kitchen island with bar seating is adjacent to a dining table that comfortably seats 8, making it the perfect spot for group dinners. The living room features three couches centered around a large LED TV, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the island. Enjoy the fantastic ocean views from the living room and the covered lanai and sundeck. The lanai is the perfect spot for watching the seasonal whales, swimming in the lap pool, and relaxing in the spa.

The spacious and comfortable bedrooms are perfect for accommodating your family's needs. The Primary Bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed, direct access to the lanai, and an en suite bath with a soaking tub, two walk-in showers, a vanity, and dual walk-in closets. The sofa in the Primary Bedroom can also be converted into an extra bed. The second primary bedroom is located across the house from the kitchen, providing maximum privacy. This bedroom features a king bed, and a large en suite with a walk-in shower, and is located nearby the detached game room, perfect for a late-night game of pool. The third bedroom is a perfect spot for families traveling with little ones. This room features a queen bed, 2 twin beds, a small office nook, and a large en suite with a walk-in shower.

The 3-car garage has been transformed into a Game Room, complete with a full-sized bar and large LED TV. Play a game of ping pong or pool after a long day of traveling, or watch the big game on the TV.

Ohana Le'ale'a is conveniently located by the Keauhou Shopping Plaza and is only 2 miles from the famous Ali'I Dr, offering unbeatable dining and shopping experiences. White Sands Beach in La'aloa Beach County Park is a must-see while visiting Kona.
