The villa was absolutely amazing-my favorite thing was the outdoor patio that I sat on for hours each day, watching the sunset, looking out towards the water. • Mar 26, 2022 Four Star Excellent place to stay for our vacation. Loved the pools, beach and koi pond. Amenities were a short walk away which was very convenient or a short drive to Target, Costco etc. Our unit was in very good condition with plenty of basic necessities. Having coffee on the lanai was nice however our unit was right by the service entrance where all the workers came in and congregated. • Mar 19, 2017 “Rarely give 5 stars, but this place deserves it!” We visit Hawaii regularly and were looking for somewhere on Oahu, away from the hussle and bussle of Waikiki. We wanted somewhere where we could self-cater and bbq. Well, we found the perfect spot at The Beach Villas. We have just returned from a fabulous week there. We booked through Ola Properties and their communication was faultless. We were sent photo of the apartment we had booked and given an opportunity to change (upgrade) if we felt we wanted to. On arrival in Hawaii we were contacted by Kawika our Ola representative. When we arrived at KoOlina he met us and sorted our parking and then helped us with our bags and settled us into our apartment. He was so friendly and welcoming - outstanding. Our week went by too quickly. We enjoyed all the facililties on the property - the quiet pool a favourite spot. The lagoon was perfect - so safe and clean and never crowded. We bbq'd every night and enjoyed sitting on our lanai with a pre-dinner drink and watching the sun go down. The apartment was well equipped. Full kitchen, comfortably furnished living area. The bed was a king sized futon and very comfortable. We had laundry facililties. The bathrooms were modern with a huge bath and good sized shower. The second bathroom and bedroom we never used, but they looked excellent as well. There is a small shopping centre at KoOlina but we often went to Kapolei for shopping (10 mins drive away). KoOlina is an hours drive from Waikiki and you really need a car to stay there. It's perfect if you like to self cater - we didn't find anything local that we liked for dining - everything was very expensive. We tried Longboard at the Marriott but were disappointed in that and wished we'd just bbq'd again. There were plenty of cheap options in takeaway type places in Kapolei and unless you want to get ripped off at the other resorts in the area, I'd recommend self catering. • Dec 28, 2015 Lovely condo This was a very nice condo with most everything you would need to do laundry and cook meals, however the only thing is the garbage truck parks close to the balcony area and empties the trash everyday for several minutes, this was a slight issue for us because we have a toddler who would always nap around the time the garbage pickup was. The lanai has a great view of the mountains but also faces the guest parking lot. Also the outdoor cushions on the patio furniture could use a good cleaning. Show more Show less Gretchen C
