• Aug 13, 2024 My family , six adults and 4 kids, had an amazing time at this gorgeous property. it looks exactly as the pics! It is big enough we weren’t tripping over each other. The location is perfect and the views are stunning! The kitchen was such a joy to cook in with the viking stove. There was plenty of parking available. • Nov 15, 2023 Beautiful Home Came with our family of 9 to stay at this beautiful home in La Jolla. The pictures on Airbnb do not do the views justice. Spacious ocean views from every room! • Aug 02, 2023 Lucky for us the owners of this house decided to put in on Airbnb rather than sell it. I can't imagine how many millions of dollars it's worth. It's in the hills of La Jolla and the view of the ocean is absolutely huge and magical. Bring your best binoculars. The entire house is built around maximizing the view with gigantic windows and such. Every bedroom is unique, we especially loved the bedroom in a large and fully stocked library, although the master bedroom was quite ornate and fun as well. It has one of those showers with 6 heads in it. ahhhhh... It was in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. No noise at all. And best of all, you're right there in La Jolla, kind of a Laguna Beach on steroids with a focus on fitness instead of art. Loved, loved, loved it! Show more Show less Kevin Dale

• Jun 01, 2023 The photos and descriptions do not do this place justice. This was way better than we imagined! The host was extremely helpful and responsive to any request or questions we had. They even let us extend our checkout time to allow us a place to keep our stuff while we waited for our late flight. We also forgot something and figured it would just get trashed but nope! They contacted me and gave an option to ship it to us. I’m shocked at how great the host, the house, and location was. They made this stay feel like a complete dream. 10/10 highly recommend! • Aug 18, 2016 Location and Views Spectacular Rented home for 3 nights to celebrate a 40th birthday party. 5 couples stayed in the home. Location and views are spectacular, with ocean views from virtually every room in the house. Rental management company was helpful in pre-stocking the kitchen with groceries, as well as recommending a personal chef to hire during our stay and massage therapists to provide in-home services. While the homes decor is a bit dated, the beds and linens used were very, very good. While the kitchen is a bit small, it is very well appointed and has everything you need to prepare large meals. It's important to note that two of the five bedrooms are somewhat open with the master bedroom being an open loft over-hanging another bedroom/gym below. Since our group consisted of close friends, this open lay-out did not bother us. Only complaint I have is in respect to the size of the house. It is listed as nearly 6,000 square feet, yet tax records confirm it is just under 5,000 square feet. Overall, this is a wonderful home and highly recommended for families. Show more Show less Ken R
