  • Mar 03, 2026 Great hidden house right on the water and very close to downtown Kona. It was a great base for our Big Island adventures. Pool was clean but cooler than the ocean so we only went in at the warmest part of the day. Dishwasher was broken when we first arrived but they replaced it with a new one the next day and we arranged for them to take care of it while we were out for the afternoon. Seamless stay with amazing views! Brian C

Kitchen was well stocked, lots of beach extras (cooler, chairs, etc). Views were amazing, we got to see whales and dolphins from the deck, amazing sunsets, and the pool was awesome. Rita C

My family made good use of the well appointed kitchen and spent most time on the comfortable deck, clean and cool pool when we weren’t off adventuring. Waking to the peaceful sound of ocean waves was a highlight. Everything was clean and comfortable, made use of beach towels and chairs. Instructions for getting in were straightforward, even down to the location of where to pull in to the tucked away driveway. Driveway was a tight fit with our large rented Wagoneer, but neighbors were nice and parked in a spot that allowed us to turn around in to pull out of the main driveway and wasn’t an issue. Easy walking distance for us to the tourist shops and restaurants and morning coffee. I would highly recommend to everyone considering this property and will look for it again if I’m fortunate enough to go to Kona again! Yolanda K

The pool was right on the edge of the surf and the patio living was fabulous. Beautiful, comfortable furniture on the patio and throughout the house. Every bedroom had its own bathroom and the common living space and kitchen was spacious and well appointed. We found absolutely no negatives about this place. We found nearby snorkeling and fabulous food at the Taco storage container truck! We loved the location. David H

If you’re looking to spend time on the beach or in the ocean, you’ll need to drive to one of the beaches. It’s just what we were looking for. John M

  • Jan 31, 2025 this home is incredible. beautiful one of a kind setting right on the shore with a large deck overlooking the ocean. you can relax all day listening to the waves crash against the lava rocks. the view is amazing. sunsets are unobstructed and magnificent. there is a private use plunge pool right against the retaining wall and you can enjoy the sunsets while sipping some wine or a frozen cocktail wading in the pool. the house has everything you need and is well maintained and immaculate. there are two bedrooms downstairs with private keyed entrances and en suite baths so it’s great for couples sharing the property or teens that want to have their own space. the place is kinda hard to find the first time, but once you know your way the location is excellent. a short walk into the little town with multiple casual and tasty open air restaurants. property management was responsive and very friendly. highly recommend this property for a super stay in kona! daniel W

We could only hear the cars on the road if they were really loud. The master bedroom was the best though. The sliding glass doors opened all the way up and provided a gorgeous view.   • Nov 10, 2023 This house is AMAZING! It is a great combination of homey and luxury. We felt like we were on the island by ourselves at times. At our own paradise oasis. The loudest part of our stay there was the OCEAN! We had the best time sitting on the deck with our coffee in the morning and watching the dolphins play for hours right in front of us! The host was very responsive when we needed them and very accommodating! Best place to stay on Hawaii that we have found! Peggy H
  • Sep 16, 2023 House was very quiet with a quiet location. If you've ever stayed elsewhere on Ali'i Drive, you know it can be noisy. House was very clean. Check-in and out was easy. Location was good with easy access to major roads. House was very stuffy when checking in, but the ocean breeze and AC units made quick work. Had all the appliances, kitchen tools and equipment that you would need. We would stay there again. Michael C

  • May 08, 2023 Wow, this is a very private home dead on the water. Amazing. If you love to see the ocean this is a great spot. The house has a very large master with an amazing view of the ocean. It has a separate bedroom downstairs that also has an ocean view. This worked well for us as we have a “snoring” member of our family. It would be great for a separate couple. Please note you go out the front or back door to access it. The living area is quite large with a huge deck that is wonderful in the morning to enjoy your coffee. The laundry is brand new and amazing .. I could of packed 1/2 the clothes. The driveway is narrow and fine for an mid sized vehicle but I would not bring a large suburban We were hesitant to rent because there were not many reviews but realized the home was sold in Nov ‘22 and the reviews are from new owner. The home had separate AC units in the master, main room and bedroom that worked well. The office didn’t have a separate AC and was a bit too hot to sleep. Guy B
