Sep 14, 2024 We had a relaxing and wonderful stay. Every room was very clean, spacious and bright. The kitchen was well equipped with dish ware, cookware, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, blender, snap ware for food storage etc. We had everything we needed! We appreciated the towel drying racks and full sized washer and dryer. We were amazed at the full closet of beach equipment, chairs, hats, snorkel gear, umbrellas, a soft cooler and even a football! The guest room a/c was very good and lots of fans were provided to circulate the cool air when needed. Quiet place to study and lots of room on the couch to relax. Short walk to watch the sunset bordering the golf course and we loved the red tea plants and nenes outside of our window each morning. Within 3-4 min drive to Queens Bath, Hideaway Beach and the Princeville shopping center for Foodland errands. We felt safe and enjoyed the quietness of the area. May 09, 2024 Had a great stay at Emmalani 414! The space was nice and clean. Loved that the kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, tupperware, silverware, pans, cutting boards etc. It was a nice peaceful stay, and we really enjoyed the pool which is kept super clean at a fantastic temperature! Only one of the bedrooms has ac, as mentioned in the listing, but there were plenty of fans to stay relatively cool. The property manager Sophia was always quick to respond to emails, and made sure we had a pack n play ready for our baby to sleep in when we arrived. Barbara Varsanofieva

May 01, 2024 Plenty of room and in a beautiful location. Not far from groceries, restaurants and the beach. Private pool and grill was nice and the place was spotless upon arrival. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to visit the North Shore Caleb Snead

Mar 30, 2024 Amazing location. The boogie boards were a hit with my teens. Pool is quiet and the over look a few blocks down was beautiful. But nothing could top the albatross baby’s that were in the back yard ( golf course) they were so cute and the adults spending hours courting each other was pretty magical. I’m glad they have a protected area to breed. Michelle Price

Oct 30, 2023 As a family traveling with a young child we appreciated the complimentary beach toys and equipment. Another small consideration was super useful: leftover containers in the very well equipped kitchen, it really helps when you have lots of Costco food leftovers. Appreciated the clothes dry racks and lots of hooks to hang things. Lastly, the Emmulani property manager, Chris, was a great resource to us. Sophia from Gather was a good communicator as well and gave us a heads-up on all aspects of the reservation. Douglas Skove

Oct 20, 2023 This is a great place to stay. It backs up to the 8th hole of the golf course. It's a couple minutes walk to the tee box of the 8th hole to watch gorgeous sunsets every night. We also walked to the hotel at the end of the street for great drinks and food. The place itself is as described. There were 2 of us and we each had our own privacy in our bedrooms. Lots of supplies in the kitchen and the washer/dryer are nice to have when doing all of the beach hikes. Only note, there is 1 A/C wall unit in the front bedroom only. It does an ok job of cooling the place. However, if the weather is hot, the 2nd bedroom will be quite warm. All other things about this location are as noted. I would stay here again. The location is great. There are many private beaches that you can hike to. Secret Beach is my favorite. It is hard to find, and G maps does not locate it well. Try putting in Secret Road. Jun 01, 2023 This condo was amazing! It was super clean and spacious and had everything we needed- kitchen equipment, beach toys and chairs, and a brand new washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. There were extra internal doors for privacy which was nice and you could also open everything up for a nice cross breeze. We really loved our stay. Apr 25, 2023 The property is exactly as shown in the pictures. Really clean and open space. It is located directly across from the pool and hot tub, which is also very clean. It was great having a pool on days when beach weather wasn't as good of an option. The kitchen had all the items needed and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all included. The host also had beach towels, chairs, etc. in the closet of the spare room. We enjoyed going a few times to hideaway beach which is in walking distance from the condo (the trail is a steep hike down.) Communication was great with the manager and we have no complaints. Apr 17, 2023 First time to the island, and happy to have chosen to stay in Princeville! The two bathrooms were very handy for our family of five. The air conditioner was also handy to help us Alaskans get acclimated to the Hawaii temps. Gorgeous grounds. Would recommend leaving the front screen door closed at all times, as we had a few unwanted visitors join us through the gap under the front door. Rachel Gray

Sep 12, 2022 I would definitely rent again! I came to run the Kauai marathon and Sophia’s property was great to recover at! Rental was clean and check in easy. I had an issue and had to cut my stay short with little notice, but Sophia handled the situation with professionalism and understanding and accommodated me quickly with no hassle. Welcome to Emmalani Court 414, a newly remodeled 2 bedroom 2 bathroom haven that sleeps up to 5 people, where guests can unwind and bask in the beauty of Kauai’s North Shore. Situated just steps away from the open ocean, and with breathtaking views of the island’s interior mountains in the other direction, this rental home comes with all of the services needed to enjoy a peaceful Hawaiian vacation, as well as additional access to the various Emmalani Court community areas and amenities.
The contemporary open air design of this home bridges the kitchen, dining room and living room for a unified common space that overlooks the outside garden space that is adorned with a number of tropical plants. The common area welcomes in an abundance of natural light, perfect for entertaining a close group of friends and family. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances fit for any chef to feel right at home, as well as a countertop bar leading out towards the dining area. Gather with friends and family in the dining area to feast at the table that seats up to 6 people, or lounge in the living room area which is outfitted with a coffee table, television set, an L-shaped couch, plus a roll away bed fit to sleep one person. Ceiling fans in the kitchen and living room provide ample airflow throughout the space. From either the living room or from the primary bedroom, guests can step out to the covered lanai (porch) to recline and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds Emmalani Court.
The primary bedroom comes with a King bed, television set, ceiling fan and closet space, and overlooks the garden and golf course, with the choice to let in the golden sunshine, or close the curtains for total privacy. It is attached to the primary ensuite which includes a dual vanity and walk-in shower. The guest bedroom is outfitted with 2 twin beds, window A/C, ceiling fan, closet space, television set and views out towards the garden, as well as access to the guest bathroom ensuite. The rental also includes the in-house brand new high performance washer and dryer.
As a guest staying at Emmalani Court, you are granted access to several of its additional community spaces. Take a dip into the community pool area which includes a full sized swimming pool, jacuzzi, beach recliner chairs and tables, and grills available for barbecue cookouts with friends and family. Take a swing at the golf course on the grounds that overlooks the ocean blue, and afterwards relax and mingle with other guests in the indoor community lounge area. Emmalani Court is only 10 minutes to downtown Hanalei, and 45 minutes to downtown Lihue as well as to the Lihue Airport. With quick and easy access to the Kuhio Highway, guests can venture out to explore nearby Princeville, or the old town of Hanalei, as well as the rest of Kauai’s beautiful landscapes, including the Na ‘Aina Kai Botanical Gardens, Hanalei Beach, Waimea Canyon, and the world famous Na Pali Coast.
