  • Sep 29, 2022 This place is astonishingly exquisite and everything we could hoped for This place is astonishingly exquisite and everything we could hoped for in a quaint tropical abode tucked away in paradise! Communications were great from the moment of reservation, leading up to stay, during and after stay! Check in was super easy. The place is extremely clean, well maintained and well provisioned. The kitchen was a delight to use! The views of the ocean in the morning are great and plenty of natural light entering the villa! Even love the views from the bathroom! In the evenings, the place feels so cozy and warm and both bedrooms are very comfortable to sleep in! We loved that places had just about everything we needed during our vacation! I can’t say enough good things about this listing but it’s definitely exactly as advertised and a great value proposition! We really wanted to get away from busy Waikiki on this trip and this place met our requirements exactly! Due to its location, there’s often a little driving involved whether to the North Shore, Kailua, Waikiki or the West/Northwest part of the island but this was not an issue for us at all as it meant more exploration, podcasts! Definitely looking forward to staying here again on our next visit to Oahu! Rahul B

From the moment that you walk through the cozy wooden gates, you can settle into the pleasantries of your Hawai’i vacation home at Pali Kai. Nestled into the quiet side streets off of the Kamehameha Highway in the small town of Ka’a’awa on the North coast of Oahu, you’ll feel fully integrated into the neighborhood at this humble and snug abode, perfect for a sweet family vacation. Pali Kai is a modest 2 bedroom, 1 bath, that sleeps up to 4 guests. While it invites a small town charm, it also welcomes adventure and unmatched natural beauty stretching in every direction. Pali Kai is situated within walking distance from the crystal clear beaches of Oahu’s north shore, and it also offers views of the spectacular Ko'olau Mountain range that run through the center of the island. The outside garden is adorned in finely manicured tropical flora to brighten up any day spent lounging out on the large outdoor lanai.

The interior open floor plan bridges the modernly furnished living room, fit with chairs, couches and a television, with the fully equipped kitchen and center island countertop for an intimate social space perfect for a single family. The primary bedroom is equipped with a garden view as well as a mountain view, a private lanai, and includes a queen bed, ceiling fan and air conditioning. The guest bedroom comes with a partial ocean view, garden view, as well as a queen bed, ceiling fan and air conditioning. The guest bathroom includes a walk-in shower and tile work. The unit comes outfitted with private washer and dryer. The entire home welcomes a copious amount of natural light, from the crisp morning sunrise to the warm and fiery hues of sunset.

The exterior wrap around lanai is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the wonder of the nature that surrounds you – hear the ebb and flow of the waves down your street, the rustling of the wind through the palm trees, or take in the breathtaking beauty of the Hawaiian sunrise. It includes various chairs, loungers and a large umbrella for comfortable single or group seating, as well as a covered dining table that seats up to 4 guests. Parking is conveniently available on the street at the entrance to the home.

Pali Kai allows guests to escape the hustle and bustle of Honolulu, and explore a quieter coastline filled with many rich and less crowded wonders. Meander the Kamehameha Highway to the east or to the west for a multitude of beautiful beaches, eclectic coastal eateries, convenience stores, and world class hikes. Visit the Ahupuaʻa ʻO Kahana State Park, hike the Crouching Lion Hike, tour the Kualoa Ranch, frolic at Kahana Bay, explore the Polynesian Cultural Center, and much more. You can even visit the larger than life sites where famous TV shows and movies like Lost, Jumanji and Jurassic Park were filmed. Pali Kai is located 44 minutes from downtown Honolulu, and 37 minutes from the Honolulu International Airport.
