Mar 14, 2024 We liked the location of the property because it was out of the noisy/busy streets of Kona Coast. However, you are not in walking distance to anything. But there were many beaches and amenities just a short drive away. Kona was about 15 minutes away. The floor plan worked fine for the three of us and the Murphy bed was comfortable and the that sleeping area was private enough for a family. The master bed was also very comfortable. Two things needed minor repair and they took care of it immediately even though it was the weekend. The entrance was down one flight of stairs. We found the patio a very relaxing place to have breakfast. Being next to the golf course was not a problem. We would stay here again. Kathleen Dettling

Feb 23, 2023 The condo was perfect for 2 couples. The Murphy bed was sooo comfy and we loved the lanai! We walked down around the golf course and the Outrigger hotel. It was spectacular. A few miles from downtown Kona. But the shopping center that was about a mile from the condo had grocery, drug store & a couple restaurants convenient for our stay. Highly recommend! The fully equipped kitchen, with all-white appliances, has everything you need for the days when you choose to prepare your own meals. The large window over the sink provides a view of the greenery beyond and allows natural light to illuminate the granite countertops, bamboo cabinetry, and updated flooring. The kitchen is mainly separated from the rest of the great room, however, a convenient pass-through makes it easy to communicate with friends and family seated at the nearby indoor dining table for four or in the adjacent living room. A cozy loveseat and a pair of sitting chairs with tropical flair face a flatscreen smart TV, which includes basic cable so you won’t miss your favorite show. Large double glass sliders lead out to the lanai, where you can grill, dine, or relax with the fairways of the Kona Country Club and peek-a-boo ocean views serving as your backdrop.
The secondary bedroom, located just off the living room, offers lanai access and features shoji doors that can be left open to expand the living space or closed to create a private bedroom with a queen-size Murphy bed. Visit Pu’uhonua O Honaunau, once a place of refuge for native Hawaiians who had broken a kapu (law), this national park includes cultural demonstrations, a self-guided walking tour of the grounds, and a cliff-side hike past multiple ancient sites. After your visit to this historic park, stop at Two Step Beach, where you can find some of the best snorkeling on the island or, if you’re lucky, spot dolphins swimming in Honaunau Bay. Another great place to enjoy underwater marine life is historic Kealakekua Bay. Be sure to seek out the Captain Cook Monument, where the famed explorer was killed by native Hawaiians in 1779.
