  • Feb 26, 2024 The place is great overall. The main suite is lovely. The other 2 bedrooms need attention however. I gave my friend the main suite and was disappointed with my room. For very little you could decorate these rooms and add some amenities. They are fine for kids, but not for adults. All that being said, the views are gorgeous. The place is clean and well stocked! The resort is so quiet and the landscape is gorgeous and the location is close to so many beaches! It's very special. We loved sitting outside for our meals and using the grill. Amy Hartvigsen
  • Nov 16, 2023 our family stayed at the property over the Thanksgiving break. The property manager service was over and above. They offered to buy groceries and coordinate spa services. We did not take them up on it, but it was nice that they offered. The location to the private beach club was, amazing. Also, the access to the beach/fins, snorkel gear, beach chair was very nice. There are also bikes that were available, that we did not use them. Fantastic place and we would definitely stay again at the same location if we went back to the big island. Sean Mahoney

  • Mar 29, 2023 The Best Unit We have stayed at several STVR units at the Golf Villas over the last seven years. Collectively, this is our 7th unit at the Golf Villas that we have stayed in. Hands down, bar none, this is the best unit. Period. Full stop. First the unit. It is clean, bright, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. Some recent updates really make this unit stand out. All the carpet has been removed and replaced with a nice tile. Walls painted and the unit is very bright unlike several of the other units which had original tan paint, carpets and dark accents. If I had any complaint it would be the televisions are not "smart tvs". So, it was hard to stream Netflix etc. for the kiddos. Simple HDMI cord solved that issue though. So, no big deal. Otherwise, everything else was great. The beds, the linens, all very clean, new, and comfortable. Kitchen had sharp knives - a common complaint for frequent STVR renters. Next the extras. Plenty of beach towels. Lots of pool/beach equipment including, sand toys, chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear. The unit even has 3 bicycles. All newish and in good working order. Finally, the Golf Villas. We really enjoy this property on the Mauna Lani. It's close to the beach club and golf club. It's a little further away from the grocery but we rent a golf cart to get around. So, again, no big deal. We will 100% stay here again and look forward to doing so. Thanks for the great stay!   • Mar 22, 2023 Great set up. Loved the fully stocked garage with beach supplies. We spent a lot of time on the patio/lanai watching sun rises over the mountain, and watching golfers go by. Our teen and pre teen kids loved their own space and bathroom. Kitchen was fully stocked. We had our best meals on the island in that kitchen and on the lanai that we made ourselves in the kitchen. Gym area is a bit too small for my liking, but there’s enough there to get a good cardio or resistance workout in. Pool area was enjoyed by our youngest. Mauna Lani property and beach club area and fish ponds are great. Love the food land and access to other properties. All told, we’d stay again for our yearly big island trip. Gerald Cox

Watch the sun rise over Mauna Kea to the east of this exceptional unit, or take in the beautiful lava rock and golf course views stretching to the ocean in the west. The condo's serene, comfortable elegance provides a perfect setting for relaxing into the island lifestyle.

Villa C1's open-concept floor plan allows for flow between the well-equipped kitchen and the inviting living and dining spaces, making it possible for the whole group to gather for quality time together. The primary suite features a king bed, a flat-screen television, a soaking tub, a large shower, and a dual-sink vanity, as well as a private lanai where you can sip your Kona coffee in the mornings. There is also a King bed in the downstairs room and a queen bed in the third guest bedroom. Each room has a flat-screen television and its own full bathroom. Upstairs, an additional living space and desk area.

The condo's living space opens to a large lanai, where you can grill fresh-caught mahi mahi or steaks from Parker Ranch, linger over an open-air meal with panoramic mountain views in the background, or lounge in the comfortable seating while watching the golfers. The former home of the annual Senior Skins Game, the course now hosts the prestigious Hawaii State Open! Guests of the Golf Villas will also enjoy the community pool and hot tub surrounded by lush tropical landscaping.

This condo in the Waikoloa/Kailua-Kona area of west Hawaii offers easy access to renowned beaches such as Anaeho'omalu Bay (or A-Bay), as well as Mauna Lani Beach Club, which has a gorgeous white sand beach, spectacular snorkeling, an excellent restaurant/bar, and rentals conveniently located right on the beach. Charter a boat or enjoy a variety of other water sports nearby, pamper yourself at the Mauna Lani Spa, or explore the fantastic shopping and dining options at the nearby Shops at Mauna Lani, Waikoloa Kings' Shops, and Queens' Marketplace.

Please note that we require a seven-night minimum stay during the holidays. Christmas reservations must check out by 10 a.m. on December 27, and New Year's reservations may check in on December 27 or later for a week. There is a 14-night minimum to book both Christmas and New Year's.

Please also note that that this home has central air conditioning throughout, which should not be set below 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Please help us conserve energy by turning the temperature up when leaving the home.
