The pool, washer and dryer unit, beach chairs, towels and cooler were great to use during our stay. Comfy beds and view from bedrooms Our only complaint is the indoor living area has limited seating which is difficult for 4 people in a 2 bedroom place. Would recommend putting the tv on wall and adding two chairs below it to maximize the space for the size of the unit. Most people probably aren’t there to watch tv anyway. Poipu beach is the best beach for snorkeling, swimming and turtles resting on the sand. Corinne I

I mean come on, you can’t beat it. Two comfy soft king beds with everything stocked and they even gave us coffee and chocolate and cookies when we walked in. Right next to the grand Hyatt too which was nice lol. Snuck in every day and booked massages at their spa. Great host too. Just book this place you won’t regret it Mathew B

Hard to get off the lanai to go anywhere when you can sit, enjoy your coffee or takeout, and watch the sea turtles swimming and surfing the waves all day long. Beautiful moon and stars, water is so clear, easy to walk to the local beaches. Just absolutely wonderful. Communications were terrific as well all leading up to and throughout. Scott R

We spent so many nights and mornings watching the waves from our balcony and we saw lots of sea turtles each day bobbing along in the ocean.   • Mar 09, 2024 This has a perfect location for viewing turtles, dolphins, & whales right from your balcony. Saw them everyday of our one week stay! (March) Kitchen is well appointed. We cooked all but two meals there during our stay. The BBQ’s are nearby for grilling steaks. The Tommy Bahama chairs and beach towels are much appreciated for the short walk to the beach. Be sure to go down to the beach at sunset as the turtles come up on shore to rest for the evening. Speaking of sunsets you have great views from the balcony and also grass area by the bbq’s. I highly recommend this condo. I would definitely go back if I visit Kauai again. Robin V

The location is incredible - breathtaking views, walking distance to amazing beaches, and a great staging area if you plan to drive around the island. Well ventilated and air conditioning worked well. Comfy bed. We loved the pool and laying in the sun. there are lots of places to eat near by. This unit could go for lots more after a few updates.   • Nov 16, 2023 This place is right above the coastline and you hear the waves crashing as you fall asleep at night. The beds are super comfortable too. The pool has great view and the waves occasionally splash up on the deck of the pool which we thought was awesome to see and hear also. We saw turtles everyday from the balcony. The location was great with easy parking, and was within walking distance of the beach, boogie boarding and a few restaurants and shops. The sunsets were great to watch from the balcony every evening. Kim D
  • Oct 15, 2023 BEAUTIFUL view! We enjoyed watching the waves, turtles, & we even had a dolphin sighting. The waves crashing at night with the AC units on while trying to sleep did take some getting used to. The place itself was very clean and the grounds and pool were well taken care of. The parking lot spaces are super tiny, so we parked up a steep incline from the unit & then brought the car down in the mornings to load up. The bathroom doesn’t have much ventilation & it was humid, so towels were an issue-we did laundry. Poipu Beach is amazing! The beach gear was awesome, TY! You could walk, but we were traveling with a 21m old, so we loaded up beach gear & drove down. Parking next to Brennecke’s Broiler was easy & food/service was great! If traveling w/ a toddler: The glass railing made us feel safe to let our todd walk out on the lanai. However, the AC units are made of metal and v hot to the touch. Bottom of the pool is slippery (water shoes). Tall furniture wasn’t great. Overall, great spot! TY Danielle D

  • May 15, 2023 We got in really late, so the checkin process was a little harder. Mainly because the contact info on my account hadn’t updated. No fault of the property’s. They were very understanding and prompt with a response. The condo was so cute! The view was spectacular. We watched sea turtles every morning right below us. The pool was used by only a handful of people at a time, so never any over-the-top noise. There were lots of places to eat and shop just minutes drive away or a short walk along the shore road. Plenty of beach gear included. A very nice little welcome snack basket. Parking was a little tight in the complex but not far from the door at its most distant. We messed up thinking checkout was at 11, so I think housekeeping was as shocked as we were when they knocked on the door. Luckily we were pretty much packed up and got out as quickly as possible. You could walk, but we were traveling with a 21m old, so we loaded up beach gear & drove down. Parking next to Brennecke’s Broiler was easy & food/service was great! If traveling w/ a toddler: The glass railing made us feel safe to let our todd walk out on the lanai. However, the AC units are made of metal and v hot to the touch. Bottom of the pool is slippery (water shoes). Tall furniture wasn’t great. Overall, great spot! TY Danielle D

The kids loved the pool and the short walk to Brennecke Beach. We did not have to worry about floats, boogie boards or beach chairs as they were provided for us to use during our stay. May 24, 2023 We enjoyed this unit and the location was great. Easy access, easy walk to a great beach, a few restaurants and the turtle watching right from our deck was mesmerizing. Very peaceful location and quiet surroundings. It was just what we were looking for. Perfect for our anniversary celebration! Janice T
May 15, 2023 We got in really late, so the checkin process was a little harder. Mainly because the contact info on my account hadn’t updated. No fault of the property’s. They were very understanding and prompt with a response. The condo was so cute! The view was spectacular. We watched sea turtles every morning right below us. The pool was used by only a handful of people at a time, so never any over-the-top noise. There were lots of places to eat and shop just minutes drive away or a short walk along the shore road. Plenty of beach gear included. A very nice little welcome snack basket. Parking was a little tight in the complex but not far from the door at its most distant. We messed up thinking checkout was at 11, so I think housekeeping was as shocked as we were when they knocked on the door. Luckily we were pretty much packed up and got out as quickly as possible. Waves crashing, turtles just below us, whales spouting and breaching out on the water---the location is easy to get around to other parts of the island but we always were excited to get back to the lanai!
