We made good use of the washer and dryer and all the sports equipment in the garage. It’s location near the belt Road made travel to other parts of the island manageable. House is a bit dated but had everything we needed, and beds were really comfortable. Probably hosts can replace old cutting boards and add larger pan. We really appreciate hosts letting us to do early check-in and late checkout to accommodate baby nap. Recommend this place to other folks. Darya S

  • May 15, 2025 We had a fantastic stay! With 10 people, it can be extremely difficult to stay in one place, but there rooms were set up perfectly for large groups. Having 4 bathrooms was huge! Not only did everyone feel comfortable within their own space, but the house came equipped with a cooler, corn hole, beach chairs, ample beach towels and snorkel gear. We were minutes from the beach/shops, and there was plenty of parking for days we wanted to relax at the house. There was something for everyone. After an exhausting trip full of fun, the host even offered a late checkout so that we didn’t have to go to the airport 5 hours early. That to me, shows the care they have for their guests. They reached out everyday to make sure our stay earned the 5 stars I am giving now and I can honestly say there were no negatives about this house. We are so grateful for everything and will be back soon 🙂 Vilay T

One of the highlights for us was the hot tub—it made a huge difference after a long day to sit back and unwind. The 4th full bath helped, especially with so many people constantly needing showers after the beach. The entire place was spotless, with clean linens and lots of bath and beach towels. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for a large group. Proximity to the beach and surfing + snorkeling made it easy for the kids to enjoy the beach whenever they liked. Overall the place had the perfect vibe for a relaxing, hassle-free getaway! Vibhas D

I really liked the fact that each family could have their own bathroom. The place and was clean and spacious. We liked that there were beach supplies available for our use during our stay. The hosts were also very responsive and accomodating of our last minute early check-in request. We also enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and shops, and the ocean. I would recommend this place for any large or small group visiting Kona. Divya P

  • Apr 20, 2024 We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our family of 7 adults. The whole house was clean. All of the linens (including provided beach towels) bathrooms & kitchen were spotless. The decor was tasteful and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans, etc. we needed for cooking & grilling. A clean sponge, coffee filters, a few rolls of paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent & dishwasher and laundry pods were provided. Basic travel sized soap, body wash, shampoo & about 1/2 week worth of tp. The a/c in the bedrooms was nice, but the ceiling fans in every room provided relief from the heat. Forget Magic Sands. We found amazing snorkeling at Kahalu’u Beach Park which was a short drive away. I would not hesitate to refer friends to stay here and would choose it again if we went back to the big island.   • Aug 19, 2023 We chose this house because there were nine of us, there were some dietary concerns, and it was also close to the beach. It was exactly what we were expecting from the pictures! The directions were clear, the place was super clean, and the communication was on top of things. With nine of us we were able to have our own beds (well, married couples shared), no one ever had to wait for a bathroom, and between the living area and the patio/lanai there was plenty of space for everyone to relax. The grill was in great shape, which was good because we used it every night. The hot tub was lovely, and the location was PERFECT- easy access to beach and Kona trolley, and at a reasonable price for a house of this size. I did check in with a few miniscule issues that we just wanted to be sure we wouldn’t be charged for, and the hosts responded very promptly. Kitchen and living room got hot, but that was workable. Would absolutely stay here again with this size group!!!! Melissa H

Apr 20, 2024 We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our family of 7 adults. The whole house was clean. All of the linens (including provided beach towels) bathrooms & kitchen were spotless. The decor was tasteful and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans, etc. we needed for cooking & grilling. A clean sponge, coffee filters, a few rolls of paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent & dishwasher and laundry pods were provided. Basic travel sized soap, body wash, shampoo & about 1/2 week worth of tp. The a/c in the bedrooms was nice, but the ceiling fans in every room provided relief from the heat. Forget Magic Sands. We found amazing snorkeling at Kahalu’u Beach Park which was a short drive away. I would not hesitate to refer friends to stay here and would choose it again if we went back to the big island. Aug 19, 2023 We chose this house because there were nine of us, there were some dietary concerns, and it was also close to the beach. It was exactly what we were expecting from the pictures! The directions were clear, the place was super clean, and the communication was on top of things. With nine of us we were able to have our own beds (well, married couples shared), no one ever had to wait for a bathroom, and between the living area and the patio/lanai there was plenty of space for everyone to relax. The grill was in great shape, which was good because we used it every night. The hot tub was lovely, and the location was PERFECT- easy access to beach and Kona trolley, and at a reasonable price for a house of this size. I did check in with a few miniscule issues that we just wanted to be sure we wouldn’t be charged for, and the hosts responded very promptly. Kitchen and living room got hot, but that was workable. Would absolutely stay here again with this size group!!!! Melissa H

Jul 14, 2023 Great location. We were a group of divers and the backyard was well setup to rinse and dry gear. Everyone had space for post dive naps. The kitchen was well appointed and we required the purchase of minimal supplies because detergents were all present. Great rental and I hope to use again in the future. James B

Jul 01, 2023 This property is in a perfect location. Just a quick walk to the beach and to the trolley that takes you into town where you can shop and find any restaurant/bar. The home is clean and can fit your whole family very comfortable. Highly recommend renting this place for your next family adventure! Jessica D
