  • Aug 10, 2025 INCREDIBLE HOME FOR FAMILY VACATION We had an incredible time staying at Holua Moana Hale. The home was clean, bright, stocked with all the kitchen and coffee amenities. It has beautiful spacious bedrooms, gorgeous bathrooms, a huge soaker tub with a view, a quiet and private backyard with a putting green that kept our kids occupied for hours each day! We also had access to beach chairs, towels and an umbrella for our beach outings. The location is close to some great local coffee shops, farms and restaurants. We also loved watching sunsets over the ocean each evening right from the pool and spa, the view truly cannot get any better! It’s our favorite place to stay on the Big Island, we can’t wait to return. Rouanzoin F

From the high-end finishes to the accordion doors opening to a beautiful pool with an ocean view and a primary ensuite with a balcony and amazing bathroom, this spacious home exudes luxury. It's situated at the end of a street that feels secluded and private with only one neighboring home. Being in the backyard feels tropical and quiet, with great views of the lush landscape, golf course (and wild goats - so fun!) and ocean. Inside the floor plan was ideal for our two families - the four kids slept in the two bedrooms downstairs and each of us couples had our own rooms and bathrooms on the second floor (with a den!). Having a large kitchen with an open floor plan made making meals at home easy. There's plenty of seating in the living room to hang out, though we wanted to spend most of our time outside. The home is fully equipped with everything you can think of, beds were comfortable and it felt so easy to be there - which is a high priority while on vacation. I feel like my family had to push me out on the last day, I would have stayed forever and will definitely book this home again. Becky H
  • Jul 04, 2025 Exceeded My Expectations!!! This house was a wonderful tranquil oasis for our family with some of the most serene views with the ocean, golf course, pool, and mountains all in view. My highlight of the 4 bedroom house was the huge doors that open to the pool and ocean. Watching the sunset was spectacular in the evenings, it never got old. The outdoor shower was great getting back from the ocean. The appliances were all top notch, and the kitchen is a chefs dream! The store is super close and the ocean is only a 10 minute drive. The house is super safe in a secluded neighborhood that is gated. Would highly recommend this house to anyone, especially those with a family. Host was amazing, and very prompt! Jeff
  • Jul 03, 2025 Perfect Hawaiian Getaway This is the perfect Hawaiian getaway! This house was exquisite and made our vacation so restful and enjoyable. It has a gorgeous view of the golf course and the ocean. Having a corner location is one of a kind. The house itself was spacious and ornate with brand new countertops. The beds and sheets were so comfortable. Every detail was taken into consideration to make it great for guests. In the master, there’s a walk-in shower and a stand-alone tub. There’s even a deck with two chairs that we enjoyed for sunset views. Our kids enjoyed playing in the pool and using the jacuzzi. The spa was easy to operate and heated up fast. It was really convenient to have two tables outside for dining and hanging out. There was even a mini putt putt course. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was an extra large pantry so it made prepping meals at home and storing food so easy and accessible. The air conditioning works great and we were always comfortable. It was so nice to be in a gated community and it’s so quiet and peaceful there. Also, there is beautiful landscaping, geckos, birds, and wild goats. The location is great and it’s centrally located with so many things to do within 30 minutes. This house is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone. Lori H

Legitimate single-family home experience with 2 bedrooms on each level, upstairs lounge with TV, indoor / outdoor dining tables, executive kitchen, spacious living room, etc. I assume the home was recently built because it essentially looked brand new and all the appliances were top of the line. Quiet/ gated community so kids could explore the area without any concerns. Unique ocean views and amazing sunsets. Great location near: downtown Kona, shopping, restaurants, beaches and where they launch boats for scuba diving and the Manta ray experience (definitely recommend). 20+ pickleball courts are next door if you\'re into that. The Kona Country Club is 1/2 mile away and is open to the public. We\'ll stay here again on our next trip to the big island. Daniel

  • May 21, 2025 Dream Stay Our family of four spent over a week here, and it truly became our home away from home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the home is immaculate. It is both incredibly comfortable and exceptionally clean. The house’s location is the best in the area and you feel really secluded and private. We practically lived on the outdoor deck, with the full-length windows open to the kitchen and living room. The kids were in the pool nonstop, and we all loved the mini putt golf area. The views and sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, no photo can do them justice. The location is ideal, with great shops and a grocery store just down the road. We even swam with manta rays in a spot just around the corner! It was the perfect home base to explore everything we wanted to see in Kona. The kitchen is fully stocked and a dream to cook in, and every bed was incredibly comfortable. Not a detail was missed in everything we needed for our stay which really helped us feel like it was home from day 1. We already can’t wait to rebook. Jon

The house was a great size for us, husband, wife and father in law, as we had room for privacy. The property manager is very responsive to any issues. Would definitely rent again. Gayle C

Our family of six loved relaxing at this house which was immaculate and had everything we needed including a rice cooker and a bbq grill.   • Feb 26, 2024 This is one of those places where the pictures just don’t do it justice. The view from the balcony up top is priceless. You won’t regret staying here. House was clean and well maintained. The lanai is amazing and the perfect spot for coffee. Beds are comfortable and there’s lots of room. Had a problem with the dishwasher and they were quick to respond to get someone out to look at it. Unfortunately parts took longer than our trip but I was impressed by their quick response and attempt at a remedy. 10/10 will stay here again. Todd K

There were high surf warning our whole trip and beaches were closed so the pool kept the kids busy and having fun. The property managers were amazing and very helpful when we had questions.   • Mar 21, 2023 We loved our stay at this home. We were a family of grandparents, grown children, and grandchildren (teenagers and young children). The layout of the home was perfect for all of us - plenty of space for everyone. We loved the well-stocked kitchen and grill area, as we enjoy cooking as a family. The backyard pool and spa were used by all, and the sunsets from the upper deck were spectacular. We enjoyed many activities around the island and appreciated this wonderful home to come back to each evening. I was a bit concerned about being so close to a Golf Course, but this turned out to be no issue whatsoever. We really liked being the end home on the street. In addition, we found Gather Vacation's team (Elite Pacific) to be extremely responsive and easy to work with: from a question when we checked-in late at night, to sending out the pool company when needed, and being very accommodating and allowing us a late check-out time. Jun 19, 2025 Amazing Oceanfront Experience My family stayed for a week and wish we could\'ve stayed longer. Legitimate single-family home experience with 2 bedrooms on each level, upstairs lounge with TV, indoor / outdoor dining tables, executive kitchen, spacious living room, etc. I assume the home was recently built because it essentially looked brand new and all the appliances were top of the line. Quiet/ gated community so kids could explore the area without any concerns. Unique ocean views and amazing sunsets. Great location near: downtown Kona, shopping, restaurants, beaches and where they launch boats for scuba diving and the Manta ray experience (definitely recommend). 20+ pickleball courts are next door if you\'re into that. The Kona Country Club is 1/2 mile away and is open to the public. We\'ll stay here again on our next trip to the big island. Daniel
Jun 19, 2025 Amazing Home for Two Families Our family and my sister\'s family recently stayed at Holua Moana Hale and had an incredible experience. First of all, this home is stunning. From the high end finishes to the accordion doors opening to a beautiful pool with an ocean view and a primary ensuite with a balcony and amazing bathroom, this spacious home exudes luxury. It\'s situated at the end of a street that feels secluded and private with only one neighboring home. Being in the backyard feels tropical and quiet, with great views of the lush landscape, golf course (and wild goats - so fun!) and ocean. Inside the floor plan was ideal for our two families - the four kids slept in the two bedrooms downstairs and each of us couples had our own rooms and bathrooms on the second floor (with a den!). Having a large kitchen with an open floor plan made making meals at home easy. There\'s plenty of seating in the living room to hang out - though we wanted to spend most of our time outside. The home is fully equipped with everything you can think of, beds were comfortable and it felt so easy to be there - which is a high priority while on vacation. I feel like my family had to push me out on the last day, I would have stayed forever and will definitely book this home again. Becky H
May 21, 2025 Dream Stay Our family of four spent over a week here, and it truly became our home away from home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the home is immaculate. It is both incredibly comfortable and exceptionally clean. The house’s location is the best in the area and you feel really secluded and private. We practically lived on the outdoor deck, with the full-length windows open to the kitchen and living room. The kids were in the pool nonstop, and we all loved the mini putt golf area. The views and sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, no photo can do them justice. The location is ideal, with great shops and a grocery store just down the road. We even swam with manta rays in a spot just around the corner! It was the perfect home base to explore everything we wanted to see in Kona. The kitchen is fully stocked and a dream to cook in, and every bed was incredibly comfortable. Not a detail was missed in everything we needed for our stay which really helped us feel like it was home from day 1. We already can’t wait to rebook. Jon

Ideal for families, the home’s private pool became the heartbeat of our mornings—allowing for slow, joy-filled breakfasts in the lanai’s open-air dining area, while the kids played in the pool just steps away. Mar 22, 2025 AMAZING HOUSE This house HAS IT ALL! Waking up to the view and jumping in the pool, was spectacular. Fully equipped house with all the amenities. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and view. Easy drive to Kona, where we enjoyed shaved ice and a local market. My three kids loved all the outdoor space, goats, geckos and golf area. Dec 18, 2024 The three of us stayed here over the Xmas and NYE Holidays. We are all three golfers and the location was super close to Kona Country Club, where we played most of our time in Kona. The house was a great size for us, husband, wife and father in law, as we had room for privacy. The property manager is very responsive to any issues. Would definitely rent again. Gayle C

The pool and jacuzzi while watching sun rise over the mountain, sunset over the ocean, and star gazing at night was a great way to either start or end our days! Jun 17, 2024 The pool was a wonderful addition to the house. Majority of the Kona restaurants were accessible within 15-20 minute drive. Our family of six loved relaxing at this house which was immaculate and had everything we needed including a rice cooker and a bbq grill. During the summer months, the AC was certainly needed and kept the house nice and cool. Huy T

Feb 26, 2024 This is one of those places where the pictures just don’t do it justice. The view from the balcony up top is priceless. You won’t regret staying here. House was clean and well maintained. The lanai is amazing and the perfect spot for coffee. Beds are comfortable and there’s lots of room. Had a problem with the dishwasher and they were quick to respond to get someone out to look at it. Unfortunately parts took longer than our trip but I was impressed by their quick response and attempt at a remedy. 10/10 will stay here again. Todd K

There were high surf warning our whole trip and beaches were closed so the pool kept the kids busy and having fun. The property managers were amazing and very helpful when we had questions. Mar 21, 2023 We loved our stay at this home. We were a family of grandparents, grown children, and grandchildren (teenagers and young children). The layout of the home was perfect for all of us - plenty of space for everyone. We loved the well-stocked kitchen and grill area, as we enjoy cooking as a family. The backyard pool and spa were used by all, and the sunsets from the upper deck were spectacular. We enjoyed many activities around the island and appreciated this wonderful home to come back to each evening. I was a bit concerned about being so close to a Golf Course, but this turned out to be no issue whatsoever. We really liked being the end home on the street. In addition, we found Gather Vacation's team (Elite Pacific) to be extremely responsive and easy to work with: from a question when we checked-in late at night, to sending out the pool company when needed, and being very accommodating and allowing us a late check-out time. We would definitely consider staying here again. Ellen M
