May 15, 2025 I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. It was incredible, you have a lovely home. Location; amazing, so close to the North Shore & all of the activities we had planned. It was so clean, we could have eaten off the floors! I've stayed in a lot of rentals and hotels, this blew them all away. Very beautifully decorated and a spacious layout. The extras were so thoughtful and considerate. The beach essentials saved us time and money and just added to the fun. Most places that have a washer and dryer don't provide soap, THANK YOU for providing detergent & not making us purchase more than we needed. I also want to thank you for providing enough paper towels, TP & soap for a week long family stay - you'd be shocked at how many people don't provide enough. The kitchen also had the essentials needed, foil, plastic wrap, blender... Every detail of this place was perfection - and very well thought out. THANK YOU for sharing your home with us! Aug 19, 2023 This was a much needed trip for my family, and I. If you’re considering staying here, DO IT. It’s such a beautiful space, in such a peaceful and beautiful area on the island with epic views. Hanalei Taro Food truck is a MUST, along with Tunnel Beach, and they were super close by. Also make a reso st 1 hotel for a sunset dinner/drinks is out of this world. Thank you so much for such an amazing stay. We will definitely be back to stay in the future . Cheers! Maurice Jr

Welcome to your Hawaiian home away from home, Ku’u Lei Villa, on the fourth tee of the Princeville Makai Golf Club. With beautiful golf course and mountain views, this spacious three-bedroom, three-bath townhome sleeps six guests comfortably and even welcomes a small pet!
Ku’u Lei Villa has been fully upgraded with custom tile floors throughout, comfortably elegant new furniture, a 70-inch television, and a nicely-equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The home has two large primary suites located on the first floor, one with a new king beds and a separate office space and printer. A charming third bedroom off the main living area has a mountain and waterfall view. The home also comes equipped with wireless internet, washer and dryer, beach chairs, a cooler and umbrella that you can use for a day at the beach.
Situated in a gated community in Princeville, Ku’u Lei Villa is just steps away from the Makai Golf Club, which features not only 27 breathtaking holes of golf, but four tennis courts. Watch the golfers while you sip your morning coffee or enjoy an open-air evening meal on the condo’s lovely lanai. The Villas of Kamalii grounds also contain a pool, hot tub, and barbecue grill area for guests to enjoy.
This Princeville condo offers an ideal location for vacationers seeking quick access to the renowned beaches of north Kauai, including Hanalei Bay, Lumahai, and Tunnels. Guests of Ku’ulei Villa will also find that a short walk brings them to Hideaways Beach and the Queen’s Bath tidepools, and a short drive brings them to activities like stand-up paddling on the Hanalei River and hiking on the Kalalau Trail. The nearby Princeville Center provides conveniences such as a grocery store, a gas station, a post office, and banks, and the nearby town of Hanalei provides excellent options for dining and shopping.
Please note that Ku’u Lei Villa allows pets under 30 pounds, subject to approval from the condo association, and certain restrictions/requirements may apply. Also, only two cars are allowed per condo, with one car parking in the space designated for the unit and one car parking in a guest space. Please inform your property manager if you plan to rent more than one car.
***Please also note while this condo has partial air conditioning in the living and dining areas but not in the bedrooms, it does have ceiling fans and windows that can be opened to allow the cool trade winds to pass through. Occasionally trade winds may not blow for a few days. The months of June through September tend to have the warmest temperatures.
Please be advised that the pool is not heated. Kindly ask us if pool heat is available and if available, pool heat must be requested prior to arrival and will incur a daily charge.
Please note, mandatory mid-stay cleaning is required for stays of 10+ nights. For stays of over 21 nights, two mid-stay cleanings are required. Any mandatory mid-stay cleaning charges will be included in your reservation quote based on your length of stay. Please contact management for more information if needed.
Note About Seasonal Gnats
We want to ensure guests are aware that during the winter months in Hawaii, gnats are naturally more prevalent due to the tropical climate. These tiny insects are attracted to light and are especially common in lush, green areas like ours. While we take every measure to maintain the property, their presence is a natural part of the environment and beyond our control.
To minimize their impact during your stay:
Keep doors and windows closed as much as possible.
Ensure screens are securely in place. Please note, however, that some gnats are so small they may get through even the finest mesh screens.
We appreciate your understanding as you experience the natural beauty of Hawaii’s unique ecosystem.
Parking Policy:
To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests and neighbors, please adhere to the following parking guidelines:
- Assigned Parking: Each unit includes one garage space and one numbered outside parking space. The garage must be used for your primary vehicle, and the second vehicle (if applicable) must use the assigned outside space.
- Guest Parking: Overnight guest parking is allowed in designated guest stalls for up to 12 hours per day or 3 consecutive days. For longer stays, prior approval from the Site Manager is required.
- Vehicle Restrictions: Oversized vehicles, motorcycles, or motor scooters may not be accommodated. Vehicles must fit in the garage with the door closed.
- Driveway Use: Driveways may only be used for 30 minutes while loading/unloading or washing vehicles (detergent soap is prohibited).
- No Street Parking: Parking along main roadways or in undesignated areas is not permitted.
- Compliance: Violations may result in fines or towing at the vehicle owner’s expense.
