They didn't allow us to adjust the temperature in the house either. For the price we are paying I would think these things would be a part of our stay to make us more comfortable. There were 3 couples, all were very comfortable in their rooms and being able to adjust the temperature in each room was great. The kitchen was spacious and had great appliances. The view was breathtaking and the pool/spa were amazing. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The only issue is that it's so lovely and peaceful we have a hard time leaving to explore the rest of the island. I’m serious when I say the pictures do not do it justice, it’s even more beautiful in person. If I could, I would post a picture of one of the incredible sunset we watched from the comfort of our pool one night.  The layout of the house is perfect for a family with the master suite truly being a whole half side of the house and sticking the kids all with their own bathrooms on the other side. The kitchen was immaculate and so well stocked with all of the cooking supplies we could’ve ever needed. In fact, the entire house was well stocked with supplies. The yard and pool area is immaculate and very well-maintained and clean . The one thing I was a little concerned about was some people‘s reviews about how this house overlooks the road. It does, but it’s still completely private. Even standing on the opposite sidewalk looking up at the pool, you cannot see people in the pool. Not to mention, it’s a quiet neighborhoo Heather W

  • Jan 07, 2025 As we pulled into the property, I was a little apprehensive that the property wouldn’t quite live up to the expectations we had in our minds after looking at the pictures online for months and anticipating our time on the Big Island. When we walked in all my fears were allayed as it was everything we hoped it to be. The home was great in every way. Being able to open the great room fully to the pool area and the beautiful Hawaiian weather was a real treat that we haven’t had anywhere else we’ve stayed. We spent so much time enjoying the wonderful vista for sunrises and sunsets and it was tough to leave.Communication was easy and responsive with the management team. They were great to work with.The property was very well equipped. If you need it, it’s probably available. There was even a panini maker and pasta maker - didn’t need to use either one but nice to know they had them if we needed them! As a nice touch, the washing machine had a container of detergent pods so I didn’t even have to use the ones I brought along. The master bed was very comfortable and the pillows, something that are so often just big bags of mushy feathers, were firm enough that I didn’t miss my own at home. WiFi was very fast and stable throughout our stay. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience and would recommend the property to anyone looking for a wonderfully relaxing time in Hawaii. We typically love to explore, but on this trip we really enjoyed hanging out around the pool and taking in the views. The house was immaculate, high quality, and the layout was perfect for our group, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, several pool floats, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, etc… The outdoor living space felt like a private resort. All bedrooms, but especially the master are spacious and all have on suite bathrooms and independent AC units. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. It made for an enjoyable walk with my wife every morning. My kiddos enjoyed the pool on a daily basis. The hosts were extremely friendly and prompt in their communications, even after hours when we had some minor problems with one of the AC units. Michael S

The views were spectacular and I took pictures every morning (so serene) and every evening (gorgeous sunset). The home provided pool toys so my kids (from one to 12 years old) were always busy playing in the pool if we were home. The kitchen was fantastic. Any time we ate, we ate outside.   • Jul 06, 2024 Wow, just wow! This home is amazing!! The views can’t be beat, and the home is just perfect!! The beds are extremely comfortable, and the whole home is extremely clean!! The kitchen has everything you need and between that and the grill, we enjoyed almost all of our meals on the Island on the lanai!! There are plenty of towels and beach towels, and the amazing laundry room makes laundry a breeze! There are plenty of beach chairs, snorkels, toys, etc, an even two coolers to use. The location is exceptional, super close to the KTA grocery store and everything else you need. Great location for exploring the island, but then so very peaceful and quiet when you return. The neighborhood is very high end, and very secure with a guarded gate. We will definitely be back! Hollie C

From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I was blown away. The rooms were super cozy & don't even get me started on the view! Spent lots of time lounging by the pool, I didn’t even want to leave! The front office was very accommodating, we had a system when it came to grocery delivery & ubers I really appreciated. A perfect getaway for a solo trip but i’m already planning on coming back with my family. Trust me, it's a gem you’ll remember forever! Amina I

Whomever designed and set-up the home did a spectacular job. The home is very spacious. The outdoor space is just as beautiful. On the patio, I enjoyed watching the ocean during the day and the moon and stars at night. Home is more spectacular than the posted pictures. Home is centrally located in Kona, 1.75 hours from Hilo. The drive to Hilo is beautiful. Was initially reticent about the price for the rental because sometimes the places don't live up to the description or photos. That is not the case with this home!! I didn't want to leave and would gladly stay again, it was worth every dollar!! Alyce M

Jan 07, 2025 As we pulled into the property, I was a little apprehensive that the property wouldn’t quite live up to the expectations we had in our minds after looking at the pictures online for months and anticipating our time on the Big Island. When we walked in all my fears were allayed as it was everything we hoped it to be. The home was great in every way. Being able to open the great room fully to the pool area and the beautiful Hawaiian weather was a real treat that we haven’t had anywhere else we’ve stayed. We spent so much time enjoying the wonderful vista for sunrises and sunsets and it was tough to leave.Communication was easy and responsive with the management team. They were great to work with.The property was very well equipped. If you need it, it’s probably available. There was even a panini maker and pasta maker - didn’t need to use either one but nice to know they had them if we needed them! As a nice touch, the washing machine had a container of detergent pods so I didn’t even have to use the ones I brought along. The master bed was very comfortable and the pillows, something that are so often just big bags of mushy feathers, were firm enough that I didn’t miss my own at home. WiFi was very fast and stable throughout our stay. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience and would recommend the property to anyone looking for a wonderfully relaxing time in Hawaii. The pool area was relaxing and exceeded expectations. The neighborhood was extremely safe, neighbors were very nice. We would definitely come back here should we travel to Hawaii again. Aug 29, 2024 The big island was our last island to visit, although Kauai and Maui are better suited to our lifestyle, this house made the trip special. We typically love to explore, but on this trip we really enjoyed hanging out around the pool and taking in the views. The house was immaculate, high quality, and the layout was perfect for our group, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, several pool floats, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, etc… The outdoor living space felt like a private resort. The neighbor hood is very quiet and peaceful. Congratulations to the owners on providing such a beautiful property for others to share. Thank you!!!!!!! Chris B
Aug 17, 2024 Island Oasis makes for amazing Hawaiiian vacation. The property is more impressive than the photos. All bedrooms, but especially the master are spacious and all have on suite bathrooms and independent AC units. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. It made for an enjoyable walk with my wife every morning. My kiddos enjoyed the pool on a daily basis. The hosts were extremely friendly and prompt in their communications, even after hours when we had some minor problems with one of the AC units. Michael S

The location was perfect—secluded enough to offer peace and tranquility, yet close enough to local attractions and amenities. The interior of the home was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped with high-end appliances, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living areas were spacious and inviting. One of the highlights was the outdoor space. The private patio offered breathtaking views, and the well-maintained landscaping was perfect for relaxing. The hosts were incredibly responsive and attentive, providing clear instructions and thoughtful touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this vacation rental exceeded all of my expectations. It was the perfect home away from home, and I can’t wait to return. Jul 30, 2024 We absolutely loved this home. It is a great location. We loved the pool and spa/ hot tub. The views were spectacular and I took pictures every morning (so serene) and every evening (gorgeous sunset). The home provided pool toys so my kids (from one to 12 years old) were always busy playing in the pool if we were home. The kitchen was fantastic. Any time we ate, we ate outside. Jul 06, 2024 Wow, just wow! This home is amazing!! The views can’t be beat, and the home is just perfect!! The beds are extremely comfortable, and the whole home is extremely clean!! The kitchen has everything you need and between that and the grill, we enjoyed almost all of our meals on the Island on the lanai!! There are plenty of towels and beach towels, and the amazing laundry room makes laundry a breeze! There are plenty of beach chairs, snorkels, toys, etc, an even two coolers to use. The location is exceptional, super close to the KTA grocery store and everything else you need. Great location for exploring the island, but then so very peaceful and quiet when you return. The neighborhood is very high end, and very secure with a guarded gate. We will definitely be back! Hollie C

May 06, 2024 Wow, just wow! My recent stay was absolutely incredible. This place is drop-dead gorgeous, literally like something out of a dream. From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I was blown away. The rooms were super cozy & don't even get me started on the view! Spent lots of time lounging by the pool, I didn’t even want to leave! The front office was very accommodating, we had a system when it came to grocery delivery & ubers I really appreciated. A perfect getaway for a solo trip but i’m already planning on coming back with my family. Trust me, it's a gem you’ll remember forever! Amina I
Mar 12, 2024 This home was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! The home easily accomodates 6 adults. All of the ammenities and comforts of home are readily available. Whomever designed and set-up the home did a spectacular job. The home is very spacious. The outdoor space is just as beautiful. On the patio, I enjoyed watching the ocean during the day and the moon and stars at night. Home is more spectacular than the posted pictures. Home is centrally located in Kona, 1.75 hours from Hilo. The drive to Hilo is beautiful. Was initially reticent about the price for the rental because sometimes the places don't live up to the description or photos. That is not the case with this home!! I didn't want to leave and would gladly stay again, it was worth every dollar!! Alyce M

We started each day out and about and retreated back to the house to enjoy the pool in the afternoons and for sunset. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Thank you for accommodating us. Phenomenal espresso bar just for the perfect Kona ☕️ The architecture was modern and it was decorated beautifully.
