Description

As part of a gated community, Napili Cove offers a quiet, private setting for your warm-weather holiday. Soak in the sun on a lounge chair on the deck overlooking the water, climb over the rocks and see if you can spot a turtle swimming in the bay or put on your gear and snorkel the famously clear water. After a swim in the ocean or in the community pool, rinse off the salt and sunscreen in the al-fresco shower and bring a tropical drink out to the porch to sip as you watch the sun set over the island of Molokai.

Flooded with light and the brilliant greens and blues of the ocean just outside, the villa's interiors have a bright, contemporary look. Large-scale artwork lends a gallery-like feel, while hardwood floors and wood trim warm up the space. In the great room, a sofa and chair in natural tones of sand and cream face both the television and the water, and a dining table and chairs are warmly rendered in rich, inviting wood. The clean-lined kitchen is fully equipped and has a convenient breakfast bar.

The two resort-worthy bedroom suites are set on the villa's upper story and boast the same sunset and ocean views as the great room and deck. Each has a king bed, en-suite bathroom and a private balcony with a small sitting area. Leave the doors open and let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep or, on balmy Hawaiian nights, flip on the villa's air conditioning for comfort.

From beaches and golf to shopping, Napili Cove is close to everything you'd want on a Maui vacation. Take the plunge into the waters at your doorstep, or make the 5-minute drive to Napili Beach or the 10-minute drive to the broad golden sands and snorkeling hotspot of Ka'anapali Beach and Black Rock. You'll find a grocery store 5 minutes away by car, restaurants and shops at Whalers Village 10 minutes away, and even more options in downtown Lahaina 15 minutes away. Tee off at Ka'anapali Golf Course, 10 minutes away, book an expedition from Lahaina Harbor, 15 minutes away, or hike through dramatic volcanic scenery at Haleakala National Park, 48 miles away. When it's time to leave, take off from Kapalua Airport, 10 minutes away, or Kahului Airport, a 45-minute drive from the villa.
