  • Feb 22, 2026 When you stay at Ho’o Maluhia you know you’re in paradise! The sweeping views of the Kona coast immediately sets the tone for the day. The house is beautiful and the layout is perfect for multi- generation families, friends or a couple for a romantic get away. The 2 stories with the 3 bedrooms (each having their own bathroom) is a luxury and the 2 ground floor bedrooms with patios is a bonus. The master bedroom & bathroom is amazing, large layout with many designer features and well thought out, located on the main floor. Shared living area is spacious with quality and comfortable furniture. Kitchen is open design and well stocked with a laundry room with a commercial grade washer & dryer. Honestly, we spent most of our time on the large balcony over looking the Kona coast, enjoying meals together or outside in the beautifully landscaped backyard catching some Kona sunshine or in the pool. Location is ideal. Close to downtown and easy access to main highways to explore the island. We were a multi-generation family of 6 with 2 elementary age grandsons and stayed a week. My 8 year old grandson sums up our stay…Nana you know what my favorite thing is…..the pool! Ours was the beauty of Kona right from our balcony! The booking was easy, great communication and responsive management staff. We will definitely be back! Sandra B

  • Aug 02, 2025 We had a wonderful time at this property. The location was perfect, just a quick drive into town for restaurants, shopping, and anything else we needed. It still felt peaceful and private, with beautiful views all around.The home was super clean and really well taken care of. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals, which made things easy and enjoyable. The layout is a bit unique, and getting to the backyard and pool means walking through a bedroom or going around the outside of the house, but it wasn’t a big deal for our family.The pool is a little older, but it was still a great feature and the kids absolutely loved it. They spent hours swimming and playing.Overall, the house was super comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay and are already looking forward to coming back! Leslie S

  • Apr 09, 2025 We would rent this property again. We arrived an hour early and cleaners were still there so went to Safeway for groceries. The access code is timed precisely, it did not work at 3 pm, was fine at 4 pm. Beds were good, kitchen well-equipped with good selection of appliances, dishes and utensils. We were happy to use coolers, freezer packs, and beach chairs in garage. Ceiling fans were adequate and did not need AC, although they also had numerous fans and a dehumidifier, so maybe more of an issue in summer. Roku TV in living room was available. Easy access to marina, shopping, and roads. William A

The beds and furniture were comfortable. There were beach supplies available for a day at the beach. The outdoor deck and unobstructed views of the water were made for morning coffee and meals. We were concerned about there not being air conditioning, but it was not needed even on warm days. We were sad to leave and definitely would come back. Ryan L
