- Very nice condo with all you need for a nice stay. Beds were comfortable and location was excellent. The daily garbage collection was the only drawback at 4:30 AM and the beeping of the backup. Not terrible but a little annoying. Otherwise, this was an ideal condo.Charlie B
- My wife & I spent 9 nights at this property & found a lot to like. The interior was clean & refreshed with new appliances, fixtures, countertops, paint, and furniture. The linens were clean & the beds were comfortable. The wrap-around lanai was well appointed with its only drawback being that it looked out upon the backs of commercial buildings with only a narrow view beyond (as shown in the website photos so it was no surprise, it is just what the view was). Inside the unit, our only troubles were difficulty understanding the controls for the washer, dryer, & dishwasher. Outside the unit, everything was quite clean but the complex’s age showed in many places. The elevator closest to our unit was out of order throughout our stay and the remaining elevators (2) were quite a distance from us. The shade of the underground parking garage was nice, but there were garage renovations during our stay that took away some spaces & restricted the widths of the driving aisles. We felt the non-functioning central elevator & the construction in the parking garage should have been disclosed to us before arrival and perhaps even been enough for a price reduction. We felt the price we paid was pretty much in-line with what we got (2 bedrm; 2 baths; on-site covered parking) & for where it was (heart of Kailua-Kona a stone’s throw from the water), but perhaps a little toward the higher side.David Stubblebine
- The location of this property was very convenient. It was a short walk to the Kona pier, downtown, restaurants & shops. We appreciated the amenities provided, including beach chairs, noodles & a cooler. The condo complex does need to fix the broken elevator & could make the pool area more inviting though.Terry L
